Parking at LoanDepot Park

Even though its current name is LoanDepot Park, the venue is still often called Marlins Park, which used to be its official name until 2020. Wondering if anything about parking has changed. Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. Visitors have four garage parking options—two on the north and two on the south side of the building:

Preferred Parking & Valet Parking

Preferred parking at LoanDepot Park is available for Marlins members only. All event parking garages have designated areas placed on the lower levels. Suite holders and The Club: DEX Imaging members are entitled to valet parking. It allows the quickest process thanks to valet attendants that will bring your car back as soon as you text them.

Accessible Parking

All LoanDepot Park parking areas except the W3 lot offer handicapped parking spots and are wheelchair-accessible. To occupy those spaces, any visitor must own a disabled parking permit, placard, or license plate. Standard parking rates apply.

Miami Marlins Parking Near LoanDepot Park

The ballpark is placed just a couple of miles away from downtown Miami, which is full of public parking lots, but Little Havana is low on such facilities. You can circle the area and try to find a suitable parking structure or on-street parking space, but that’s not such a good idea if you aren’t familiar with the neighborhood. When it comes to metered parking, hourly rates vary depending on the zone, and the cost varies from $1 to $4 per hour.

Is Tailgating Allowed at LoanDepot Park?

Transportation to the Park

The most budget-friendly service is provided by public transit, and there are two Miami-Dade Metrorail stops within a short walk of the park. Metrorail is the most convenient and cost-effective choice—the one-way fare is $2.25. You can also hop on one of the several buses or use the City of Miami Trolley, but its station is a 20-minute walk away. To grab a taxicab, look for a taxi stand in East Lot 3.
