DFW Airport's cheapest drive-up parking is the Remote North and South lots: $14 a day if you pay with an NTTA TollTag, or $16 by card at the exit, with non-stop buses to every terminal. For 8 a.m. October 20 to 6 p.m. October 27, that comes to $112 or $128. Red Roof Inn, the cheaper of the two hotel lots ParkingAccess could book for those dates, cost $49.47 with taxes and fees, and the Westin $72.27. DFW's own prebooked parking, sold at dfwairport.com/park, can save up to 50% off drive-up prices, so price that too before you book.

DFW Airport's own parking rates from October 1, 2026
DFW charges by the time you stay, and from 6 hours to 24 hours you pay the full daily rate. Every rate is lower with an NTTA TollTag than with a card at the exit; without a TollTag, take a ticket in a "Ticket Only" lane.

Parking at DFW is limited to 90 days; the airport tows vehicles left longer. The south section of the Terminal C garage has been closed for construction since September 14, 2024; its central and north sections are open. ADA spaces in the terminal garages are on Levels 1 and 3 for direct terminal access.

For 8 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, to 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, both hotel lots ParkingAccess could book cost less than DFW's cheapest drive-up lot. The last 10 hours fall in each lot's 6-to-24-hour bracket, so the airport totals count eight full days.

Prebooking DFW's own parking at dfwairport.com/park
DFW sells prebooked Remote, Express and terminal parking online and says it can save up to 50% off drive-up prices, with no booking, change or cancellation fees. The prebooking form asks which airline you fly, has a promo code box, and earns points in myDFW Rewards when you sign in.
- Window: book up to 10 months ahead, for stays of 6 hours to 45 days. DFW recommends starting the booking at least 3 hours before your flight and ending it 2 hours after you land.
- Cancelling: up to 1 hour before your booked arrival, for a full refund.
- Rules: no leaving and coming back on one reservation; a terminal-specific booking must park in that terminal's garage, or you pay extra; prebooking doesn't cover valet.
- Sold out online: DFW holds back spaces for drive-up customers, who pay drive-up rates.
- TollTag holders: you can still use the tag to enter, and it isn't charged for a prebooked stay.
Remote, Express and valet at DFW: how each reaches your gate
Remote North and South sit just before the airport's North and South entrances, at 2200 N. Airfield Drive and 2400 S. Airfield Drive, and their buses run non-stop to your terminal. Express North, at 1800 Express North Parking, picks you up at your car's trunk, with rides of 4 minutes to Terminals A and B and 5 minutes to C, D and E, not counting the wait.
- Late at night: between midnight and 5 a.m., Remote parkers call +1-972-973-3838 for a bus; between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Express parkers call +1-972-574-7500.
- Coming home: Remote and Express drop-off and pick-up areas are on the lower level of each terminal.
- Valet: agents meet you on the Arrivals level (Level 3) of Terminals A, B, C and E, or at the Departures curb of Terminal D, and you can drop off and pick up at any terminal. Reserve at dfwvaletreservations.com or +1-972-574-2407; car wash and detailing are offered.
What we found in DFW's rate tables and our searches on October 5
DFW's posted terminal-garage table charges $12 with a TollTag, or $15 by card, for 0 to 8 minutes, while 8 to 30 minutes costs $1 or $3. So by the airport's own table, a stop of under 8 minutes in a terminal garage costs more than one of half an hour; the table doesn't say why.
On the same day, two of the four hotel lots ParkingAccess lists near DFW were sold out for October 20 to 27, and the cheapest one left, Red Roof Inn at $49.47, cost about 56% less than eight days in Remote with a TollTag. For travelers who want a hotel night first, the Red Roof Inn package (one night on October 19 plus parking through October 27) was $110.86 with taxes and fees, and the Westin package $265.76 with a 3-day minimum stay. Trains to DFW: DART, TEXRail and TRE
Three rail services reach DFW's terminals. DART's Orange Line runs from Plano through downtown Dallas and Irving to Terminal A, and DART's new Silver Line runs from Plano through Richardson, Addison, Carrollton and Coppell to Terminal B, bypassing downtown Dallas.
- TEXRail: Trinity Metro's line runs from downtown Fort Worth through North Richland Hills and Grapevine to Terminal B.
- TRE: the Trinity Railway Express links Dallas and Fort Worth with the CentrePort/DFW Airport Station, where the TRE Link shuttle connects to the terminals.

Picking someone up at DFW
DFW has two free cell phone lots, each free for up to two hours. The North lot, just before the North toll plaza, has 53 spaces; the South lot, at Rental Car Drive and Southgate Avenue, has about 60.
A driver must stay with the car the whole time, and overnight parking isn't allowed in either lot.
Getting back to the terminal where you parked
If you land at a different DFW terminal from the one where you parked and have no checked bags, stay inside security and take the Skylink train. With checked bags, collect them first, then take the orange Terminal Link shuttle outside security.
