Correction, October 22, 2026: earlier versions of this page described an official Long-Term Lot at $15 a day and a Terminal 1 garage at $32 a day, and listed WallyPark San Diego. san.org lists neither a long-term lot nor a $32 rate, and WallyPark's site says its San Diego location is closed due to airport expansion and refers customers to Aladdin Parking. This page now uses only what the airport and operators publish today.
What the airport charges at the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Parking Plazas
Both Parking Plazas charge $3 per 15 minutes with a $40 daily maximum, and valet is $60 a day at either terminal. A lost ticket is charged the maximum daily rate.

san.org lists EV charging at $1.00 per session plus $0.55 per kWh, in effect since May 7, 2024. If you flew from the Terminal 1 plaza but your airline is at Terminal 2, take the Inter-Terminal Shuttle from the Terminal 1 curb; san.org says it runs 4 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Reserving at the airport, and which terminal your airline uses
You can reserve a plaza space at reservations.san.org: it is single use, refundable in full until 1 hour before arrival, and honored even if the plaza is full. Same-day reservations are not bookable online, and sold-out dates need a call to SP+ at 619.291.2087.
san.org's own pages disagree on how far ahead you can book, saying up to 30 days in one place and 1 to 60 days in another, so check the booking page for your date. If you reserved, do not pay at a pay station or you are charged twice. san.org's airline list, published October 8, 2025, put Air Canada, Breeze, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country and WestJet in Terminal 1, Alaska and American in Terminal 2 East, and British Airways, Copa, Delta, Hawaiian, Japan Airlines, KLM and United in Terminal 2 West. Airlines have moved since, so confirm yours on san.org's airlines page.

Prices are what a ParkingAccess search returned on October 22, 2026, with taxes and the $9.95 service fee. The same Fox address appears as two listings at different prices; compare both. Against the plaza maximum of $280 for 7 days, the others are $155.17, $129.33 and $105.02 less. On their own sites, Fox Parking lists free shuttles every 10 to 15 minutes and 24-hour operation, and does not require a reservation, and Aladdin lists a free continuous shuttle, self-park and Quick-Valet, and a 24/7 facility at (619) 696-7275. Getting to San Diego International: Route 992, the Flyer and the Trolley
MTS Route 992 serves both terminals every 15 minutes and costs $3.00 one way, with a $7.00 day pass. The Trolley does not stop at the airport; the free San Diego Flyer links the airport with the Old Town Transit Center.
