Although there are not many self-parking structures near the Port of Charleston, a couple of on-site and off-site parking areas can meet your requirements.

• The cheapest and most popular off-site parking facility is Park & Go, which provides about 250 secure parking spaces 10 miles from the cruise terminal. They offer a safe parking area and a discounted parking rate of only $10 per day for a valet parking service. With this rate, you will save half of what you would normally pay at the official port parking.

However, there is one downside - cruise shuttle service is not provided by Park & Go Charleston, and you have to use another ground transportation option to/from the home port. Uber and Lyft might be the best choice.

• The Port of Charleston provides a safe parking structure, too. When it comes to prices, **the daily rate is $20 **for standard vehicles or $50 for oversized vehicles, and all major credit cards are accepted. Accessible parking spots are available as well, and passengers with a disabled parking permit or license plate will get a free parking spot.

The official vehicle parking lot is located right at the port - go to the intersection of Laurens and Concord Streets and enter Gate #2. It is a short walk from the terminal and easily accessible via free shuttle buses. A shuttle bus service is available on both departure and returns dates.
