Last verified: October 23, 2026, on portofgalveston.com, the port's own website, and in a live ParkingAccess search for November 7 to 14, 2026.
Disclosure: ParkingAccess sells reservations for the one off-site lot priced here and earns a commission plus a $9.95 service fee on each booking. The port's own lots cannot be booked through ParkingAccess, and the port says it is not affiliated with any private lot operator.
The Port of Galveston posts no daily parking rate; its rates differ by lot and show in its booking engine. The port's drive-up lots take credit cards only, open at 9 a.m. on most sailing days and run free shuttles about every 5 to 7 minutes. The one off-site lot ParkingAccess could book for November 7 to 14 was Trans-Pro Park & Ride at $164.79 for 7 days.
Correction, October 23, 2026: an earlier version of this page said "updated rates 2020", called the port an airport and showed no port facts. This version reports what the port publishes now.
How Port of Galveston parking works
The port says reservations are strongly suggested and open up to 18 months ahead, and it takes drive-up cars only if space is available without a reservation. It accepts credit cards only: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, plus Google Pay and Apple Pay, with no cash.
| Item | What the port publishes |
|---|---|
| Daily rate | Not posted. The port says different rates are offered by lot and shown when you book. A 2023 port page quoted around $25 a day and is out of date. |
| Capacity | About 5,500 spaces in 13 surface lots, an indoor parking facility and a multi-level garage, which includes some visitor and tenant spaces (port departments page) |
| Opening time | 9 a.m. on most sailing days; delays can mean later |
| Shuttle | Free, about every 5 to 7 minutes, sometimes sooner |
| Garage clearance | 6 feet 8 inches in the SMP and Terminal 16 garages |
| Cancelling | 24 hours before your sail date; the port's online-special page shows a $10 cancellation fee |
| RVs | Accommodated in the economy lots, possibly two spaces minimum; a standard space is 9 by 19 feet |
Accessible spaces cannot be reserved ahead. The port's help line is (409) 766-6163, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Which lot serves which terminal
Galveston's cruise terminals are now numbered 10, 16, 25 and 28. Terminal 25 (formerly Terminal 1) is mainly Carnival with some Disney and Princess, Terminal 28 (formerly Terminal 2) is mainly Disney, Terminal 10 is Royal Caribbean, and Terminal 16 is MSC and NCL.
| Terminals | Port lots and garages | Shuttle |
|---|---|---|
| 25 and 28 | Express (680 spaces), SMP Garage (400), Economy A (850), Economy B (1,250) | Economy A and B have free shuttles; Express and the SMP Garage have none |
| 10 | North (550), North Premium (100), South (660), Pier 10 and Pier 12 lots; the Terminal 16 garage is served by shuttle | Terminal 10 shuttles serve the North and South lots; the port's pages disagree on the Pier lots, so check before you go |
| 16 | Lots 1 and 2, the Terminal 16 garage, the VIP indoor garage and the VIP lot | The Terminal 16 garage has a shuttle to Terminal 10 |
Lot capacities and terminal assignments are from the port's reservations page, parking map and Explore the Port page; the map page still calls Terminal 16 "coming soon", which looks out of date.

For a sailing on Saturday, November 7 with a return on November 14, ParkingAccess could book Trans-Pro Park & Ride at $164.79 for 7 days, which is $20.00 a day before taxes and fees. Falstaff Cruise Parking is listed but was not bookable for those dates.

| Trans-Pro Park & Ride | 2115 Terminal Dr, Suite #128, Galveston, TX | 4.1 miles from the port | Uncovered, self-park | $20.00/day | $164.79 |
The search results list no shuttle frequency for this lot, so ask the lot how and when it takes you to your terminal before you rely on it. Trans-Pro is a private lot; the port says it is not affiliated with any private lot operator, so we have no basis to say the port's rules, hours and shuttle times above apply to it.
