Disney Springs parking is free, but that does not make it easy. The real problem is arriving into the dinner rush with no garage plan and then wasting time circling the same ramps while everyone else does the same thing.
| Option | Price & Location | Reality Check |
|---|---|---|
| Orange Garage | Free self-parking. | Best default for many visits, but it also attracts the most wishful thinking during the dinner rush. |
| Grapefruit Garage | Free self-parking with pedestrian bridge access. | Often the cleaner move when Orange is already loading up. A slightly different walk is better than a long ramp queue. |
| Lime Garage | Free when open. | As of March 2026, Disney says Lime is closed through March 13, so do not plan around it this week. |
| Watermelon / Strawberry lots | Free surface parking. | Not glamorous, but they are useful overflow instead of wasting time hunting the same garage entrance. |
The local move is to treat Grapefruit Garage as the clean fallback, not the consolation prize. If Orange is already stacking and Lime is out of service, switching early saves more time than stubbornly waiting for the "better" garage.
Disney Springs exits can be ugly right after dinner and evening entertainment ends. If traffic is frozen, the better move is usually to stay a little longer, grab dessert, and let the first surge clear instead of sitting in a garage line that is barely moving.

Book Tickets on Vivid SeatsYes. Standard self-parking is free, but the time cost can still be high if you arrive in the dinner rush without a plan.
That depends on traffic, but Grapefruit is often the best fallback when Orange is already backed up.
Move to the surface lots or the cleaner garage option early instead of circling and hoping the first line improves.
