Rocket Arena Parking Guide

Last verified: September 14, 2026. We checked the Rocket Arena, Cavaliers, Monsters, RTA, LAZ Parking, ParkWhiz, SpotHero and Vivid Seats pages listed under Sources. The arena was Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse until 2025; the Rocket Arena name was announced on February 18, 2025. Prices are as published that day and change by event.

Great Day Improvements Garage and JACK Casino Garage: the arena's rules

The arena, 1 Center Court, Cleveland, Ohio 44115, names two garages holding 3,300 cars on its directions page: the Great Day Improvements Garage, formerly Gateway East Garage, 650 Huron Road East, and the JACK Cleveland Casino Garage, listed as JACK Casino North Garage, 2047 Ontario Street, and South, 2151 Ontario Street. "Gateway North" appears on no arena page we checked, and the arena's map of parking options (PDF) still says Gateway East Garage, with no rates.

• Prices: not published for 2026-27. "Event parking prices will automatically populate and will vary by event."
• Opening: three hours before the event starts, marked with an asterisk whose footnote we could not read.
• Payment: the Great Day garage is cashless, card only. A plate reader logs entry and bills on exit; manage the charge at app.metropolis.io.
• Bridge: from Garage Level 3, event ticket required, per the FAQ.
• Prepaid passes, two answers: the directions page says passes are sold via SeatGeek "for select Rocket Arena events", linking to the arena's events page. The FAQ says "Parking passes are not available for individual Cavaliers games" and that passes can be bought in advance at the box office. Unresolved.
• Dual events with the Guardians: the garages "will ONLY accept parking passes purchased in advance."
• Vehicle limits: 7'6" clearance, tow trucks included; vans no more than 7' wide and 19' long; Sprinters on Level 1, street level, in a Platinum spot. No bus or RV rules are published.
• In-and-out: not published for either garage.

Downtown garages on ParkWhiz and SpotHero

The arena's directions page lists 29 nearby lots and garages with addresses but no rates. ParkWhiz's October 8 listings ran $8 to $60; its venue page also showed Public Square Self Park, 333 Euclid, at $24 (0.3 mi).

SpotHero. Its Cavaliers page listed the October 8, 11 and 24 games and an event range of $30 to $55, while its garage cards showed "starting at" prices: Garage 8990, 645 Prospect Ave. E (0.2 mi), $13.99; May Co. Garage (0.2 mi), $13.24; 900 Prospect Ave. E Garage (0.3 mi), $12.99. SpotHero's arena page gave $30 to $50.

Tower City Garage, LAZ. The arena's LAZ page advertises "easy in-and-out access and an indoor walkway straight to Rocket Arena", phone (855) 640-2350. The arena's list puts Tower City Center at 1527 W 6th; ParkWhiz lists the garage at 1537 W. 6th St.

Rideshare zones on Huron, Prospect and Ontario

The arena's A-Z guide lists five rideshare pickup and drop-off zones: Huron E. and 8th Street, West Huron at Tower City, Ontario Street, Prospect Ave E. and 4th Street, and West Prospect at Tower City. Lyft is the arena's partner; its transportation page offers code ROCKETARENA for 50% off a rider's first two rides.

RTA rail to Tower City Station and the Walkway to Gateway

RTA's Red, Blue and Green lines stop at Tower City Station, 50 Public Square. The Walkway to Gateway runs from there to the arena: 1,000 feet by RTA's count, 1,050 by the arena's A-Z guide, from the Tower City Center food court to the arena lobby.

Walkway hours, three versions. The arena's A-Z guide: opens four hours before a game, closes three hours after. RTA's sports page, last updated February 18, 2025: at least 4 hours before each Cavs game, 3 hours before every other event. RTA's Cavs page: two hours before each game, closing 90 minutes after. All three have it open from two hours before tip-off.

Fares. A ride is $2.50 and an all-day pass $5.00. Since May 7, 2026, riders must scan the fare validator. RTA guarantees Rapid service home for 60 minutes after the game, runs trains until after midnight, and honors an All-Day Pass until 3 a.m. Park free in more than 7,000 spaces at RTA rail stations.

Accessible parking and van clearance

• The arena's directions page says it has a limited number of designated spaces for vehicles with the appropriate international symbol.
• Limited van space with a 7'6" clearance is available. No price and no accessible drop-off location are published.

Construction and road work near the arena

• The arena's homepage banner says work will temporarily impact elevators near Portals 6 and 30, and an escalator near Portals 7 and 62.
• The directions page lists a closure of the eastbound I-90 exit ramp to E. 9th Street through late October, and lane restrictions on Huron Road and Ontario Street through mid-November.

What this guide doesn't recommend

• Looking for "Gateway North." The arena does not use the name; the north garage is the JACK Casino North Garage, 2047 Ontario Street.
• Bringing cash to the Great Day Improvements Garage. It is card only.
• Counting on a prepaid arena pass for a Cavs game. The arena's pages disagree on whether one exists.
