Updated for current event-night routing and booking paths.
Cleveland is the rare NFL city where the parking lot is a bigger institution than the parking. The Muni Lot — 1,860 spaces half a mile east — fills before sunrise and feeds a stadium pinned between rail tracks, the Shoreway and Lake Erie. Two walking routes lead in: West 3rd and East 9th .
Two numbers cover most fans: $40 for a Muni Lot space or $10–$16 for a downtown garage. ADA in the Tan Lot is $80, cash only . Guides and the city's older post still say $30 for the Muni Lot; Council raised it to $40 . Aggregators still say $75 for ADA.
The Muni Lot sits at 1500 S. Marginal Road and opens 5 a.m. for 1 p.m. kickoffs. Night games open the east portion at noon, the west at 5 p.m. — which matters once in 2026, on Oct. 1. You pay for every space you occupy — a truck plus canopy is not one $40 space. Posted rules: propane only, no charcoal, no open fires, no saving spaces, no in/out, and no alcohol or marijuana consumption.
Adjacent lots are passholder-only — Purple, Tan and VIP Valet in North Coast Harbor, the West 3rd Orange Lot and the Science Center Red Lot — open four hours before kickoff, close an hour after . Passes come through JustPark, the Browns' official partner. Everyone else parks downtown: the Browns' portal lists 801 Rockwell Garage at $10, 600 Superior Ave at $15, 300 St. Clair Ave at $16 . Use I-90 exits at Ontario (171), East 9th (172A) or Superior (173C).
Most guides get this wrong: RTA runs the Waterfront Line from Tower City to South Harbor Station only on gamedays and select events — and South Harbor sits inside the Muni Lot, so the train and the tailgate are the same trip. An all-day pass is $5 , station parking free. Driving out is harder: closures start three hours before kickoff, shutting the West 3rd and East 9th exits off Route 2, and access stays restricted an hour after . The 2026 Memorial Bridges Loop project touches six of ten home dates .
Seven of eight home games kick at 1 p.m. — Carolina (Sept. 27), Baltimore (Oct. 18), Houston (Nov. 15), Las Vegas (Nov. 29), Cincinnati (Dec. 6), Atlanta (Dec. 13), Indianapolis (Jan. 3) — with Pittsburgh the lone primetime date, Thursday Oct. 1 . Vivid Seats lists nine parking events, all matching that schedule . The last three are deep-winter games at one of the league's coldest venues .

Nothing changes for 2026, 2027 or 2028. The Browns broke ground on the $2.4 billion Brook Park dome on April 30, 2026, targeting the 2029 season . Parking is the open question there, not here: the site plan demands at least 13,000 gameday spaces against a consultant's 8,500–9,000 on-site .
