New Orleans Convention Center Parking Guide

Last verified: September 14, 2026. We checked the convention center's parking, accessibility, events and About pages and its parking map, plus ParkMobile, RTA, SpotHero, ParkWhiz and Vivid Seats. Prices are as published that day and can change by event.

The convention center's own lots

The center owns and operates several lots on the south end of the building. Its Getting Here page gives directions to Lot F at 400 Calliope St. and Lot G at 355 Henderson St. Its parking map, dated March 2024 in the file name, also marks Lot B at 1251 S. Peters St., Lot C at 1205 Tchoupitoulas St. and Lot J at 102 Henderson St. The current page does not say whether those three are open to visitors.

• Payment: cashless, through the ParkMobile app. The center links to ParkMobile reservations for booking ahead.
• Rules: no in and out privileges, and overnight parking is prohibited.
• Not published: lot hours, height clearances, an accessible parking rate and what counts as oversized.
• EV charging: four complimentary stations in Lot F.
• Trucks: marshaling details come from your event's general contractor or show management.

Driving to Lots F and G

From I-10, take US-90 Business toward the Westbank (Exit 234A westbound, Exit 234C eastbound) to Exit 11, Tchoupitoulas and S. Peters St. For Lot F, stay straight onto Calliope St. and turn right at S. Peters St. The entrance is directly ahead. For Lot G, keep right onto Tchoupitoulas St., turn left at Henderson St. and make a U-turn at Convention Center Boulevard. The entrance is on the right.

Events at the center through mid-November

The next 60 days on the center's events calendar, with the days ParkMobile sells reservations for. WEFTEC and AAO use the Great Hall and Halls B through J. Where the sources disagree on dates, both are shown.

Private lots and garages nearby

We priced WEFTEC's first day. SpotHero lists it as Saturday, September 26, with parking from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., though the center's calendar and ParkMobile start WEFTEC on September 28. We used that window on both apps.

SpotHero showed 30 lots and garages from $11 to $60, as subtotals before fees. Among the closest:

• 201 Notre Dame St. lot: $31, 0.1 miles, a 3-minute walk, three spaces left.
• Nola Lot, 861 Convention Center Blvd.: $32, 0.1 miles.
• Fulton Place Garage, 901 Convention Center Blvd.: $33, 0.3 miles.
• WTC Garage, 100 Poydras St.: $25, 0.3 miles.

The cheapest was 846 Camp St. at $11, an 11-minute walk.

ParkWhiz lists no events for the center. For the same window it quoted 12 options from $16.05 to $79.04 with fees, 0.36 to 0.5 miles away in a straight line. The cheapest were 732 Camp St. at $16.05, the 601 Tchoupitoulas St. garage at $21.40 and the Gordon Lot at 860 Magazine St. at $26.75. The top quote carried a rate labeled "NYE", so check it.

Compare both apps. The Gordon Lot was $50 on SpotHero and $26.75 on ParkWhiz. 846 Camp St. was $11 on SpotHero and $64.20 on ParkWhiz. SpotHero's figures exclude fees and ParkWhiz's include them.

Taxi, rideshare and drop-off

• Use the Taxi/Rideshare Zone, which the parking map puts at 400 Calliope St.
• A pedestrian crossing over Calliope St. links the zone to Lobby G, the Transportation Center entrance. The About page says the Transportation Center connects to the building by a covered walkway.
• The map marks shuttle hubs at 350 Calliope St. and 1250 S. Peters St. Shuttle schedules are not published.

Streetcar and bus

The RTA 49 Riverfront streetcar runs between the French Market, Canal Street Station and Julia Station, according to the streetcar timetable revised September 7, 2025. The center's main entrance is at 900 Convention Center Boulevard, at Julia Street. RTA publishes no walking time from the stop, and we could not confirm 2026 frequencies.

Buses and streetcars cost $1.25 a ride or $3 for a 1-Day Jazzy Pass. A 7-day pass is $15. Seniors and riders with disabilities pay $0.40 with qualifying ID, and youth pay $0.50. Pay when you board with a pass, exact change or the Le Pass app. Drivers do not carry cash.

Accessible parking and access

• Accessible spaces are in the surrounding lots, first come, first served. The accessibility page says the number changes from event to event.
• The Getting Here page says there is ample ADA parking and asks drivers with specific needs to email [email protected].
• Mobility scooters rent at the UPS Store in Lobby F, and the center encourages booking ahead. Wheelchairs are available on request.
• For interpreters or assisted listening, contact the event organizer in advance, or Event Services at 504-582-3011.

Construction and closures

None of the center's pages we checked announce lot closures. The About page describes projects including a connected headquarter hotel and a pedestrian park along Convention Center Boulevard, with no construction dates or parking effects.

What this guide doesn't recommend

• Bringing cash. The center's lots are cashless.
• Leaving your car overnight. The center prohibits it.
• Driving out at lunch. The $23 rate has no in and out privileges.
• Booking on the first app you open. The Gordon Lot was $50 on one app and $26.75 on the other.
• Trusting one calendar. The center, ParkMobile and SpotHero give different dates for several shows.
