Short answer. The Liacouras Garage, next to the arena, takes only prepaid ParkMobile passes for events. Temple's event parking page lists $22 for Temple University events and $30 for concerts and family shows. A second Temple page says $27 for non-university events.
The venue counts over 3,500 spaces within a short walk, and lots open two hours before the event. Three nearby Temple lots publish event rates of $20 to $27. SpotHero lots ran $6.13 to $45.25 before fees for October 2, and the B1 subway stops a 2-minute walk away for $2.90.

Temple garages and lots: the rules
Temple University's Office of Parking Services manages all parking around the arena. These rules come from the venue and Temple's event parking page.
- Liacouras Garage: prepaid ParkMobile passes only, for every event. A pass guarantees a space. Have the QR code ready to scan at the entrance.
- Payment: Temple Towers Lot is card only, and you pay at the exit. The Cecil B. Moore and Tuttleman kiosks take cash but give no change, and both take the ParkMobile app. Montgomery Garage is card only for large events.
- Limited lots: Cecil B. Moore and Tuttleman spaces are first come, first served. Montgomery Garage can be reserved on ParkMobile.
- Timing: lots open two hours before the event, and doors normally open one hour before, per the venue's FAQ.
- Season ticket holders: basketball season ticket holders with parking privileges follow Temple Athletics guidance.
- Not published: re-entry, tailgating, oversize vehicles and garage height clearance.
Where sources disagree. Temple's event parking page lists $30 for non-university events in the garage. Its Liacouras Center events page says $27, and its visitor rates page says certain events cost $27. ParkMobile's event list showed no price. Temple also says Montgomery Garage takes cash for regular parking, while the venue says it takes no cash.
Upcoming events at the arena
The venue calendar lists two events in the next 60 days and two after. ParkMobile listed both October dates for garage reservations. Parking times follow the venue's two-hour rule.

Temple basketball. The 2026-27 men's schedule lists no games here yet. Richmond on November 8 and St. Bonaventure on December 12 are at The Palestra.
Independent lots and resale passes
SpotHero. For October 2, SpotHero searched 7 p.m. to midnight and showed 30 listings, priced before fees:
- 2118 N. Watts St. lot, 0.3 miles: $16.25, the closest.
- 1617 W. Girard Ave. surface lot, 0.8 miles: $10.00.
- Sharswood Ridge Parking Lot, 2077 Ridge Ave., 0.9 miles: $6.13, the cheapest.
The rest were 1.3 miles or more away, up to $45.25.
ParkWhiz. ParkWhiz showed no event listings. Its default search, a Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. with no event, had 11 lots from $7.68 to $16.05. Sharswood Garage, 2004 Redner St., 0.5 miles, was $12.14.
Vivid Seats. The October 2 listings had 16 passes from $23 to $68, fees included. The $23 passes were for the Sharswood Ridge lot that SpotHero priced at $6.13 before fees.
Distances vary. ParkWhiz puts the Girard Avenue lot at 0.6 miles, and SpotHero says 0.8. A Vivid Seats seller lists the Watts Street lot at 0.4 miles.
Rideshare and drop-off
- Drivers may not pick up riders in front of the Broad Street doors, according to the venue.
- Pickup and drop-off are at 1800 North Broad Street and 1300 Cecil B. Moore Avenue. The venue spells the second "Cecil B. More Ave."
Getting there on SEPTA
Every B1 Broad Street Line Local train stops at Cecil B. Moore Station, 1700 N. Broad St., a 2-minute walk from the arena. The station is ADA accessible and has no parking. Its departure board listed trains about every seven minutes each way when we checked. Buses 3, 4 and 16 stop at Cecil B. Moore and Broad. Regional Rail's Temple University Station, at 10th and Berks, is a 10-minute walk.
A bus or Metro ride is $2.90. Key and contactless riders get up to two free transfers within 2 hours, and cash riders get none. A One Day Convenience Pass is $7.50. Children under 12 ride free with a paying adult, and seniors over 65 ride free with a Senior Fare Card.
Accessible parking
- Temple has van-accessible and regular accessible spaces in every parking area, first come, first served. Counts: 23 in the Liacouras Garage, 23 in Montgomery Garage, 8 at Tuttleman, 7 at Cecil B. Moore and 6 at Temple Towers.
- Temple says placard holders must also obtain a University parking permit for those spaces. It does not say how event guests do that, so contact Parking Services first.
- The city provides a limited number of on-street accessible spaces around campus. The Parking Authority gives placard holders a courtesy free hour at meters.
- All three arena entrances have an ADA-compliant door, and wheelchair escorts are at the Box Office, per the venue. Accessible space prices are not published.
Construction and closures
The venue, Temple and SEPTA pages we checked listed no construction or closures affecting event parking.
What this guide doesn't recommend
- Arriving at the garage without a pass. It takes only prepaid ParkMobile passes.
- Resale garage passes. Vivid Seats had $65 and $68 for October 2. Temple charges $30 or less.
- Carrying only cash. Temple Towers takes cards only, and the kiosks give no change.
- Parking here for the first Temple men's games. Those are at The Palestra.
- Waiting for a rideshare at the Broad Street doors. Use 1800 North Broad Street or 1300 Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Not for visitors on the Temple pages we checked. Main campus visitor lots charge $22 a day and $27 at certain events. The $40 weekend pass is only for students and employees.
What time is street parking free in Philly?
The Parking Authority's meter page publishes no citywide time. It cites free parking after 6 p.m. only as an example. Check the sign on the block.
When does the garage open?
Two hours before the scheduled start, per the venue. For the October 10 rodeo, doors open at 3 p.m., and the venue does not say whether parking opens before 5 p.m.
