The venue says parking starts at $25, first come, first served, paid by card, Apple Pay or tap-to-pay. You can also prepay on its advance booking portal.
If those fill, the venue points to the First Street parking deck and the Millennium Garage on Congress Street. For Youmacon on October 31, the three closest lots were $10 to $25 on ParkWhiz and $20 on SpotHero. The People Mover is free and stops inside the building.

The venue's garages and their rules
From the venue's parking and directions page:
- Roof-top Garage, 625 West Congress Street: on the roof at Congress and Third Streets, with direct access inside. 1,200 uncovered spaces, 9-foot clearance.
- Washington Garage, 1 Washington Boulevard: under the building at Larned Street. 640 covered spaces on two levels, 7-foot clearance, six EVO charging spots.
- Payment: credit card, Apple Pay and tap-to-pay. Cash is not mentioned.
- Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays. Weekend and event-day hours "vary" and are not posted.
- Not allowed: overnight parking, oversized vehicles and trailers.
- Space count: the page says 2,596 spaces, but its two garage listings add up to 1,840. It doesn't explain the gap.
Advance booking. The venue's booking portal sells prepaid, guaranteed spaces with a QR code for the gate. Its home page shows no prices.
Overflow. The venue names the First Street parking deck and the Millennium Garage on Congress Street, without addresses or rates.

The apps disagree with the calendar in places. ParkWhiz and SpotHero list The Battery Show on October 12 to 15 and the PMI summit on October 21 to 24. SpotHero shows Youmacon's Friday and Saturday running to 1 a.m. ParkWhiz also sells parking for MOVE America on September 23 and 24 and a National Association of Home Builders meeting on October 6 to 8, neither on the calendar.
Nearby garages and what the apps charged
We priced Youmacon on Saturday, October 31. ParkWhiz priced 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. SpotHero priced 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. and shows subtotals before fees.
ParkWhiz: 35 listings from $8. A few listings ran $85 to $425 without saying whether they cover valet, overnight or several days. The three closest:
- Millennium Garage, 432 W. Congress St.: $10, 329 feet.
- 408 W. Fort St. Lot: $12, 0.1 miles.
- 150 W. Jefferson Garage: $25, 0.2 miles.
SpotHero: 30 listings, $6 to $90. The three closest:
- 536 W Fort St. lot: $20, 0.5 miles.
- Albert Lot, 1111 3rd Ave.: $20, 0.5 miles.
- Millennium Garage: $20, 0.6 miles.
The 408 W. Fort St. lot is 0.1 miles away on ParkWhiz and 0.6 miles on SpotHero, so check the map. Price doesn't track distance either: ParkWhiz had the Buhl Garage at $170, more than lots closer in. SpotHero's average for event parking nearby is $10 to $24.
City garages. The City of Detroit's Municipal Parking Department lists only its Eastern Market and Ford Underground garages, with no event rates. It does not list the Millennium Garage.
Rideshare and drop-off
- The venue publishes no rideshare pickup or drop-off point.
- Its accessibility page lists three street-level entrances: off Congress Street near the parking garage, near the Washington Boulevard turnabout, and on Atwater Street. Give your driver one of those.
- Vivid Seats' venue page mentions rideshare zones without saying where they are.
Getting there on the People Mover and QLINE
The People Mover's Huntington Place Station is inside the building, on the fourth floor near Congress Street. All rides are free, and trains come every 8 to 12 minutes on average. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to midnight weekdays, 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
On non-event dates the station closes at 10 p.m. After that, use Financial District Station at 133 W Larned, which the People Mover lists as the transfer to the QLINE's Congress Station.
The QLINE is also free. It runs 3.3 miles on Woodward Avenue with 13 stops, every 15 minutes, 8 a.m. to midnight Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Accessible parking and entrances
- Each garage has accessible spaces for both cars and vans, according to the venue's accessibility page. No separate rate or placard rule is published.
- The north side has elevator access from Congress Street near the parking garage. The south side has a street-level entrance near the Washington Boulevard turnabout. The Atwater Street entrance leads to the Atrium and first level.
- Wheelchairs can be requested at the concourse Information Desk. Supply is limited.

- The venue's pages posted no garage closures or construction when we checked.
- The People Mover's Huntington Place Station closes at 10 p.m. on non-event dates.

- Leaving a car overnight. The venue's garages prohibit it.
- A tall vehicle in the Washington Garage. Clearance is 7 feet. Oversized vehicles and trailers are banned from both garages.
- Picking a lot by app distance alone. The two apps disagreed by as much as half a mile on the same lots.
