Rose Bowl Parking Guide

Last verified: September 12, 2026. We checked the official UCLA, Rose Bowl Stadium, Tournament of Roses, JustPark, R.G. Canning, Metro and FIFA pages listed under Sources. Prices and rules change by event, so check the event's own page before you go.

Costs are what each official source published when we checked. "Not published" means the source had not posted a price yet.

UCLA football

UCLA plays its home games at the Rose Bowl. The 2026 dates on the stadium calendar after September 12 are Sept 19 (Purdue), Oct 17 (Wisconsin), Oct 24 (Michigan State), Oct 31 (Nevada), Nov 13 (Illinois, a Friday) and Nov 28 (USC). Most kickoff times were still to be announced.

Prices, and what you actually pay

UCLA's gameday page lists these single-game rates:

• General parking: $38 in advance, $44 on game day.
• Oversized vehicles and RVs on West Drive: $128 in advance, $154 on game day.
• USC game: $48 in advance, $59 on game day, and $153 or $179 for RVs. UCLA says USC parking goes on sale later.

UCLA sells stadium parking through JustPark. Its listings show a higher, all-in figure. On September 12 it listed general parking for the Sept 19 game at $43 and for the Sept 12 game at $48 on game day. It listed oversized parking at $133 and $158. The listings we opened were marked "Price includes all fees and taxes." We viewed them but did not complete a purchase, and a listing is not a guarantee that passes are still available.

JustPark defines oversized vehicles as RVs, limousines, buses, sprinter vans and motorcoaches. UCLA says no overnight RV parking is available.

Where you park, and when

• General parking is on the golf course, the ball diamonds, Area H, and West Drive for RVs, according to UCLA.
• JustPark says general parking fills first come, first served, and people who arrive closer to kickoff are parked farther away.
• Lots open 6 hours before kickoff and close 90 minutes after the game ends.
• There are no in-and-out privileges, no overnight parking and no saving spaces.
• Stadium gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.

Rideshare

UCLA says the stadium does not allow rideshare during UCLA football games. Its advice is to take a rideshare to the Parsons lot in Old Pasadena and ride the shuttle from there. We don't recommend asking a driver to meet you at an unofficial spot near the stadium.

Tailgating rules

These come from UCLA's gameday page and apply to UCLA games:

• Tailgate only in front of or behind your vehicle. A tent can be no larger than 10 by 10 feet.
• No open flames. Charcoal grills are allowed in most tailgate areas but not in the RV area on West Drive. All grills must be raised off the ground.
• No glass containers, no drinking games, and no drinking in tailgate areas after kickoff.
• No box trucks, trailers, towed grills or outside catering.
• Larger organized parties must be arranged in advance with the Rose Bowl or UCLA. The stadium's number is (626) 577-3100.

Parsons lot or stadium lots?

For UCLA games, the Parsons lot costs less than stadium parking and avoids driving into the stadium grounds. It isn't automatically the better choice.

• Cost. Parsons is $24 a game with the shuttle included. Stadium general parking is $38 in advance or $44 on game day, before JustPark's fees and taxes.
• Tailgating. Stadium lots let you tailgate at your car under the rules above. Parsons does not put you in a stadium tailgate lot.
• Timing. With Parsons you ride a bus both ways and depend on its schedule. UCLA doesn't publish shuttle hours or how often buses run.
• Getting home. Neither UCLA nor the stadium publishes how long it takes to leave the lots or to ride the shuttle out after a game, so we don't estimate it.
• Buying it. Parsons was not listed on UCLA's JustPark page for upcoming games when we checked, and UCLA's page doesn't say how to pay. Check with UCLA before you rely on it.

The shuttle drops off at Lot B at the stadium. The Rose Bowl's directions cover both the stadium and the Parsons lot from each freeway.

Rose Bowl Game (January 1)

The next game is a College Football Playoff quarterfinal on Friday, January 1, 2027, according to the stadium's event page. Kickoff was still to be announced.

The Tournament of Roses parking page is the event's own guide. When we checked, it did not name a year and listed its prices as to be determined, so check it again closer to the game. It said:

• General parking is in Lot H, Lots 1 to 4, Lot 6 and Lots 8 to 10. The price is not yet set.
• Lots open at 4 a.m. There is no in-and-out, and leaving means paying the full fee again to re-enter.
• If it rains, the golf course lots may not be available and Pasadena Police will manage street parking.
• Taxi and rideshare drop-off and pickup are not allowed at the stadium. Drop-off is on Holly Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Raymond Avenue.
• A free shuttle runs on January 1 from Pasadena Avenue between Walnut Street and Holly Street, from 10 a.m. until about two hours after the game.
• Parking near the shuttle is at the Parsons lot, off Union Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Pasadena Avenue, or in nearby Old Pasadena lots. Reserved parking is sold in advance through LAZ Parking at (626) 578-1705.
• Rose Parade traffic heads out of Old Pasadena between 10 and 11:30 a.m. The page suggests arriving before 10 a.m. or after 11:30 a.m.
• Motorhomes enter through Linda Vista Avenue and Salvia Canyon Road. Bus and limo passes must be bought in advance and are not sold on JustPark.

Concerts and other stadium events

The stadium's parking page sends non-UCLA events to a separate parking seller. On September 12 that seller listed no events. The stadium says shuttle operation and rideshare locations vary by event, so use the specific event page on rosebowlstadium.com rather than football rules.

The calendar showed Moby and Underworld on November 7, 2026, at Brookside at the Rose Bowl, and Harry Styles on April 23 and 24, 2027. Neither had parking details posted.

Rose Bowl Flea Market

The market runs on the second Sunday of every month, rain or shine. Upcoming 2026 dates on the stadium calendar are Sept 13, Oct 11, Nov 8 and Dec 13.

• Parking. The organizer's event listing says free parking is available with a short walk to the entrance, and premium parking closer in can be bought on site that day. It doesn't list a premium price.
• Admission. Tickets are sold online only, with no sales on site. R.G. Canning lists general admission from 9 a.m. at $15.83 including fees, and early entry from 5 to 8:45 a.m. at $23.21. Children under 12 get in free with an adult.
• Timing. The stadium's event page says no one enters after 3 p.m., shopping runs until 4:30 p.m., and vendors may start packing up at 3 p.m. Check in at Gate A with your QR code.

Getting there by Metro

Take the Metro A Line to Memorial Park Station in Old Pasadena. A regular fare is $1.75 each way, according to Metro.

• UCLA games. UCLA says you can walk about 2.4 miles to the stadium, or buy a shuttle pass and ride the Rose Bowl shuttle.
• Rose Bowl Game. The Tournament of Roses says to follow signs two blocks from the station to the free shuttle at Parsons.
• Other special events. Metro says a free Foothill Transit Rose Bowl shuttle runs from the Parsons lot for select special events only, and to confirm with the organizer that it is running.

Metro's page also lists park-and-ride lots along the A Line, including free parking at Sierra Madre Villa Station and $8 at Union Station.

Accessible parking and drop-off

From the Rose Bowl's accessible services page:

• Accessible parking stalls are in Lots B, D and F, first come, first served. When they fill, you're directed to the closest general parking, which is sometimes a grass lot north of the stadium.
• You may be asked to show the identification card issued with your placard or plate. Out-of-state placards are honored.
• ADA and accessible-vehicle drop-off and pickup is in Lot B.
• When a shuttle runs, it is wheelchair accessible, and riders with disabilities board first at both ends.
• Wheelchair help from the gate to your seat is limited. Text (626) 400-5119 once you're inside the gates.

UCLA adds that wheelchair assistance isn't provided outside the stadium gates, and that as of 2026 it no longer runs courtesy shuttle carts for the general public.

What this guide doesn't recommend

• Neighborhood street parking. The official pages we checked send drivers to stadium lots, the Parsons lot or transit. The only street parking they mention is police-managed parking if rain closes the golf course lots on Rose Bowl Game day. We don't recommend neighborhood streets otherwise.
• Unofficial rideshare pickup spots. Use the location the event names. For UCLA games that means the Parsons shuttle, not the stadium.
