SoFi Stadium Parking Guide

Updated for current event-night routing and booking paths.

Most stadium parking guides tell you which lot is closest. At SoFi that is the wrong question, because you do not choose your lot – a zone is assigned to your pass, staff direct you to a space inside it, and arriving at the wrong gate sends you back onto Century Boulevard. Here is how the zone system actually works, what happens if you show up without a pass, and the transit routes that cost less than a coffee.

What happens if you drive to SoFi without a parking pass?

You are turned away. The stadium states it in capitals on its own parking page: “All guests MUST have a parking pass. If you do not have a parking pass you will be turned away and directed to offsite options.” There is no cash lane, no drive-up rate, no talking your way in.

For NFL games the venue goes further and calls on-site inventory “extremely limited”, instructing anyone without a pass to use the City of Inglewood Park & Go remote program or public transport instead. Plan the parking before you plan the drive.

The Hyundai parking zones, decoded

SoFi does not sell you a lot – it sells you a colour-coded zone, and staff place you in a space within it. Here is which lots sit under each colour:

ZoneLotsNotes
GreenLots A / BWest side of the Hollywood Park campus
BrownLots C / DAdjacent to the Green zone approach
OrangeLots E / F / G / HLargest zone by lot count
PinkLots H / I / P / QOverlaps Orange at Lot H
PurpleLots K / LFrequently searched by name
BlueLots NOwn dedicated approach
YellowSeparate zone with its own entry route

The rule that catches people: “You must enter from the access point for the parking zone your pass is assigned; if you come in through any other entry you will be turned around and directed to your assigned parking zone.” Every pass confirmation includes a Waze link to the correct gate – use it rather than navigating to the stadium address generally.

Two more zone rules worth knowing before you buy

You cannot choose your space, and you cannot hold one. “Parking spaces cannot be reserved or saved for guests arriving at a later time.” If you want to park beside friends, the official instruction is that both parties must hold passes for the same zone and arrive together.

Nothing goes on the ground around your car. No coolers, tents, tables or chairs behind, in front of, or around parked vehicles – those belong only in the designated tailgating zone, and drive aisles must stay clear at all times.

What time do the SoFi lots open?

It depends on the event type, and the gap matters:

  • NFL games: parking lots open 4–5 hours before kickoff; entry gates open 2–3 hours before.
  • Concerts and non-NFL events: lots open 3–4 hours before start; gates 1–2 hours before.

The stadium's own advice is to arrive as soon as parking gates open. Inglewood's road network funnels a full stadium through a handful of approaches, and the difference between arriving at gate-open and arriving an hour later is the difference between a five-minute entry and a crawl.

The cheap way in: $2 to $4 round trip

This is the part almost no guide covers, and it is published on the stadium's own page. Three transit agencies run direct service to SoFi at fares that undercut any parking pass:

ServiceFareFromNotes
Culver CityBus Line 99 Express$2 round tripCulver CityCheapest sanctioned route to the stadium
GTrans Line 7X$4 round tripHarbor Gateway Transit CenterPark free at Harbor Gateway; runs every Sunday
Torrance Transit$4 round tripTorranceDirect service to SoFi
Metro C or K LineMetro fareLAX/Metro Transit CenterGame-day shuttle from Bus Bay 8

The GTrans option is the sharpest of the group: free parking at Harbor Gateway plus a $4 round trip means a carload gets to an NFL game for less than the price of a coffee each, and skips the Inglewood exit entirely.

Frequently asked questions

How much is parking at SoFi Stadium?
SoFi prices per event rather than by a fixed card, and the stadium warns that on-site prices increase on event day compared with buying online in advance. Resale passes are the other route when official inventory is gone.

Can I pay for parking when I arrive at SoFi Stadium?
No. Every guest must hold a parking pass; without one you are turned away and directed to offsite options.

What are the SoFi Stadium parking zones?
Seven colour-coded Hyundai zones: Green (Lots A/B), Brown (C/D), Orange (E/F/G/H), Pink (H/I/P/Q), Purple (K/L), Blue (Lot N), and Yellow. Your pass is tied to one zone and one entry gate.

What is Purple Zone parking at SoFi?
Purple covers Lots K and L, with its own designated entry gate. Like every zone, you must approach via the Purple access point – entering elsewhere gets you redirected.

What time do SoFi Stadium parking lots open?
4–5 hours before kickoff for NFL games, 3–4 hours before start for concerts and non-NFL events.

Is tailgating allowed at SoFi Stadium?
Only inside the designated tailgating zone. Coolers, tents, tables and chairs may not be placed around parked vehicles anywhere else, and drive aisles must stay clear.

What's the cheapest way to get to SoFi Stadium?
Culver CityBus Line 99 Express at $2 round trip, or GTrans Line 7X at $4 round trip with free parking at Harbor Gateway Transit Center.
