Short answer. The arena's 1,500-space garage is sold by the season for Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers games, with no single-game price published. Everyone else parks nearby. The arena's official seller, JustPark, listed eight lots at $13.72 to $36.44 for the October 7 preseason game. The closest, the Firehouse Lot, was $35 and a two-minute walk.
Lots on SpotHero ran $5 to $55.25 before fees for the same game, and everything under $10 was a 10-minute walk or more. Resale passes on Vivid Seats started at $14. MATA buses and trolleys were free under a fare pilot.

The arena garage: who can park there
The Gossett Motors garage has 1,500 spaces on five levels, attached to the arena at 191 Beale Street. Both entrances are on Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue, between B.B. King Boulevard and Fourth Street.
- Basketball: sold on a season basis for Grizzlies and Tigers games. No season price or single-game option is published, and JustPark's October 7 list did not include the garage.
- Other events: first come, first served, at rates the arena does not list.
- Hours: not published. JustPark shows lot hours at checkout and in the confirmation email.
- Re-entry: the building has a no re-entry policy. Nothing is published for the garage.
- Car trouble: a lot attendant will call for a locksmith or a jump start, according to the arena's guide.
Nearby lots and garages, from official to independent
JustPark. The arena's parking page links to JustPark. For October 7 it listed the Firehouse Lot at 198 MLK Jr Avenue for $35 (0.11 mile), the 4th & Peabody Lot for $35.17 (0.23 mile), the 250 Peabody Garage for $20.03 (0.36 mile) and the Gayoso Garage for $13.72 (0.59 mile). Passes arrive by email and can be transferred by forwarding it.
SpotHero. Its 26 listings for the same game ran from $5 at 394 Vance Ave., a 10-minute walk, to $55.25 at the Rock 'N' Soul Lot on Beale, 5 minutes away. The Blues Garage at 149 Peabody Pl. and the Gibson Lot at 163 Dr. MLK Jr. Ave. were $20 each, 5 and 6 minutes out. Prices were shown before fees.
ParkWhiz. ParkWhiz listed no Grizzlies games. For Bryson Tiller on October 6 its 17 listings ran from $6 at the TN Brewery Garage (0.7 mile) to $33 at the Blues McCall Garage (0.2 mile). Its 4th & Peabody Lot was $30, listed at 148 S. 4th St. JustPark and SpotHero put that lot at 278 S 4th St.
Compare before you buy. For October 7 the Rock 'N' Soul Lot was $22.55 on JustPark and $55.25 on SpotHero. The Mobility Center garage at 60 Beale St. went the other way, $20.03 on JustPark and $9.50 on SpotHero.
Rideshare, taxis and drop-off
- The parking page puts guest, limo and taxi drop-off on Fourth Street at the east end of the arena, between Beale and Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue.
- The accessibility page says South B.B. King Blvd. instead. The pages conflict, so follow the signs.
- Drivers may not wait or park. Unattended vehicles are ticketed or towed.
- No Uber or Lyft pickup zone is published.
Getting there on MATA
The arena says three trolley lines and an express shuttle run within a few blocks. MATA's trolley page describes one route, the Main Street Trolley, run with a bus about every 60 minutes. It runs 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Neither source names the closest stop, and no shuttle details are published.
MATA's Zero Fare pilot began November 16, 2025, covers buses and downtown trolleys, and has been extended with no published end date. The fares page says all rides are currently free. The trolley page still lists $1 each way, and the standard bus fare is $1, or $2 for a day pass.
Accessible parking and drop-off
- Accessible parking is in the Gossett Motors garage. The parking page also names the Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue marshalling area, but the accessibility page does not.
- A current state-issued hang tag or license plate is required. No price is published, and neither page says how these spaces are sold on season-only basketball nights.
- Drop-off for guests with disabilities is by the ramp on B.B. King Blvd. in front of the Rock 'n' Soul Museum. Wheelchairs are available at Sections 102 and 202.
Construction and closures
No construction or closure notice appears on the arena's pages. Its parking page warns that construction in parts of the city can slow traffic, and that overlapping downtown events can push drivers to overflow parking.
What this guide doesn't recommend
- Driving to the arena garage without a season pass. It is sold by the season for basketball.
- Buying from the first seller you open. One lot was $22.55 on JustPark and $55.25 on SpotHero for the same game.
- Planning to pay at the gate. JustPark says onsite payment may be available but is not guaranteed.
- Waiting at the curb. Cars cannot sit at the drop-off, and unattended vehicles are towed.
- Counting on the trolley after a late show. It runs about hourly and stops at 10 p.m., or 6 p.m. on Sunday.
