Costs are what each source published on September 14, 2026. Moscone Center is city-owned; its FAQ footer names Legends Global as manager, its homepage footer names ASM Global. The venue names no garage; SFMTA's venue page names two.

Moscone Center Garage, 255 3rd Street

SFMTA runs it at 255 3rd Street (415.765.9069), 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, closed Christmas Day, with 732 spaces and a 6-foot-6 clearance. From the garage page:

• Hourly: $4.00 from midnight to noon and 3 p.m. to midnight; $5.00 from noon to 3 p.m.
• Flat: $18.00 early bird, Monday through Friday; $29.00 12-hour maximum; $35.00 24-hour maximum or lost ticket.
• Monthly: $435.00 reserved, $345.00 regular, $165.00 carpool, $100.00 motorcycle.
• Services: a new EV charger, bicycle lockers, validation, special events, reservations. Automated cameras may photograph your license plate.
• Not published: evening or event flat rates, payment methods, accessible stalls, after-hours entry, the rate effective date, and whether it is on the city's reservation portal.

Fifth and Mission / Yerba Buena Garage, 833 Mission Street

SFMTA's larger garage at 833 Mission Street is open 24/7 with 2,585 spaces and a 6-foot-8 clearance. From the garage page:

• Hourly: $5.00 from midnight to 9 a.m., $6.00 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., $5.00 from 6 p.m. to midnight.
• Maximums: $38.00 for 12 hours; $44.00 for 24 hours or a lost ticket; $45.00 hotel in-and-out.
• Monthly: $525 reserved, $350 regular, $175 carpool. Motorcycles $10.00 a day. EV chargers.
• Reservations: through the city's Skidata portal, up to six months in advance; the portal page names this garage among 18 locations.

Jessie Square Garage, 223 Stevenson Street

SP+ runs Jessie Square at 223 Stevenson Street, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, with a 7-foot height restriction and no overnight parking. Rates are not published on the lot page; they appear only after a dated search. Neither the venue nor SFMTA names it.

Street meters in SoMa

SFMTA says most meters are enforced from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; pay-by-phone adds a $0.35 convenience fee. The latest citywide adjustment took effect Monday, July 13, 2026, raising the rate by $0.25 on blocks where average occupancy is above 80 percent. Per-block rates are not on either page. No page we checked lists free parking near the venue.

Conventions on the calendar, September to November 2026

The venue's events calendar loads from a JSON feed, which we read for September 14 to November 14. All eight entries are conventions or trade shows, none a consumer or public gated event. Microsoft Ignite 2026 follows, in all three buildings, November 17 to 20.

SpotHero and ParkWhiz for Dreamforce Wednesday, September 16

SpotHero. A search for September 16, labeled Dreamforce Conference 2026 Wednesday, showed three garages: Museum Parc Garage, 300 3rd St., 5 min (0.2 mi), from $32.55; InterContinental Valet Garage, 888 Howard St., 6 min (0.3 mi), from $18.02; SFMOMA Garage, 147 Minna St., 6 min (0.3 mi), from $7.99. An undated fetch of the same page showed Museum Parc from $43.40; we cannot confirm the date parameters were honored.

ParkWhiz. Its live pages were blocked on September 14. A cached copy of its Dreamforce page, for a Monday in March, showed Marriott Marquis Garage valet, 780 Mission, $42.40; InterContinental Garage, 888 Howard, $18.02; Hyatt Regency SOMA valet kiosk, 50 3rd, $22.26. Those are not Dreamforce prices.

Driveways, cutouts and the 3rd Street taxi zone

The administrative office is at 747 Howard Street at Third and Howard; Moscone West is at 800 Howard Street at Fourth and Howard. Separate addresses for North and South are not published. The driveways page names three loading zones, the Howard Street Moscone North Cutout, the Moscone South Driveway and the Moscone West Cutout: no parking, one way east to west, no idling. When shuttles hold the South Driveway, overflow goes to the city's taxi and rideshare zone on 3rd Street between Howard and Folsom. No everyday pickup point is published.

BART and Muni: Powell, Montgomery and the T Third

The directions page sends North and South visitors to Montgomery station and West visitors to Powell station. Powell St. station is at 899 Market Street; Montgomery St. station is at 598 Market Street. Muni's T Third stops at Yerba Buena/Moscone Station, 266 4th St.

Muni fares are $2.85 with Clipper or MuniMobile and $3.00 cash, $1.40 to $1.50 for seniors and riders with disabilities, free for youth 18 and under on regular service, $5.70 for a day pass (no effective date shown). BART raised fares 6.2 percent on New Year's Day 2026, taking the average fare from $4.88 to $5.18, and takes Clipper or a tapped contactless card. Point-to-point fares are not verified; the fare page refused our request.

Dreamforce closures and the Howard Street project

SFMTA's advisory for September 10 to 16 closes Howard Street between 3rd and 4th from 6 a.m. Saturday, September 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday, September 20, and 4th Street between Mission and Howard from September 14 to 17, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Muni and shuttles excepted. Access is via Howard at 5th Street; the detour runs via southbound 2nd Street to Harrison Street; Muni service is not affected. Temporary taxi stands at the W Hotel, the InterContinental and southbound Howard between 4th and 5th are for pick up and drop off only. The garage page carries no closure advisory.

The Transbay Howard Streetscape Improvement Project covers Howard Street between 4th Street and The Embarcadero: work starting February 2026 and expected through late 2028, paused near Moscone Center during major events, with an average of 2 to 3 parking spaces lost per blockface.

Accessible parking

• The Moscone Center Garage page publishes no accessible stall counts, rules or rates, and no after-hours entry policy.
• The Fifth and Mission page carries a reservation link to the city portal; the portal page does not name the Moscone Center Garage.

What this guide doesn't recommend

• Leaving the Moscone Center Garage late. It closes at 10 p.m. and publishes no after-hours policy.
• Reading a cached ParkWhiz price as a Dreamforce price.
• Driving in on Howard between 3rd and 4th through September 20.
• Hunting for free parking. No page we checked lists any.
