Buy the pass before you leave home

Every car entering the Truman Sports Complex needs a parking pass bought in advance; the Chiefs say cash is not accepted at the toll booths. Passes are sold through Ticketmaster from the Chiefs' parking purchase page and open in the Chiefs Mobile App. Your pass color, Red, Gold or Platinum, and the toll gate you use decide which lot you park in.

Where each pass color parks

Red passes park in the red sections of Lots A, B, C, D, F, G, J, L, N and O, plus limited grass areas. Gold passes use the gold sections near the front of Lots B, C, D, F and G and part of Lot H. Platinum passes are lot-specific, Lot M or Lot E, with overflow in Lot H.

Bus and RV passes park on Lancer Lane next to Kauffman Stadium and continue along North Dubiner Circle, first come, first served.
The number on your pass is for inventory only; it doesn't assign a lot or zone. The color does.
You can't pick a spot: lots fill first come, first served, starting closest to the stadium and loading outward.
Open park: for the first 30 minutes after the gates open, arriving cars go to open sections of Lots C, D, F or G based on their pass, and approved grass areas open first come, first served.

Which toll gate to use for your pass

Traffic inside the complex flows counter-clockwise, so the gate you enter and your pass color decide your lot. Red passes can't use Gates 1 or 7, and buses and RVs can only enter at Gates 1 and 7 because of low bridge clearance at Gates 3 and 4.

Tailgating rules in the Truman Sports Complex lots

Tailgating is allowed in every lot at the complex. Your whole setup, guests included, can extend 8 feet behind your parking space, and the emergency lane marked by two yellow lines down the middle of each aisle must stay clear.

Grills: charcoal or LP gas only. No wood fuel or wood-burning fire pits, and an adult must supervise every grill.
Glass is prohibited in all the parking lots.
Space: one canopy that fits in front of or behind your car; no gear in drive aisles or empty spaces, and a space can't be used for tailgate equipment alone.
Not allowed: commercial tailgate setups and selling anything, even for donations.
When the game starts: you can't stay in the lots or outside the stadium during the game.
Ford Tailgate District: the Chiefs' pregame area outside the Hy-Vee Gate, at the west end of Lot M and the stadium's north apron.

Rideshare, the bus and accessible parking

Uber, Lyft and zTrip drop off and pick up at the Missouri Welcome Center, between Gates 1 and 2 on Blue Ridge Cutoff; follow the marked paved path to and from the stadium. RideKC's 47 Broadway bus also serves Arrowhead.

Accessible parking is first come, first served for cars with a valid accessible plate or hangtag and a parking pass. The person the plate or tag was issued to must be in the car.
Mobility carts run from 3 hours before the event until 1.5 hours after. Call or text Fan Experience at 816-920-4237 before the game; after the game, carts pick up outside all four spiral gates.
EV charging: a limited number of chargers in Lot M, first come, first served. Enter at Gate 3, 4 or 6 and tell parking staff.
Car trouble: Fan Experience at 816-920-4237 can send a tow, with longer waits at peak arrival and departure times.

Oversized vehicles, buses and RVs

A vehicle that takes more than one space needs a bigger pass. Class B buses, RVs and anything that fits in two front-to-back spaces need an Oversized pass, which counts as two spaces; Class A and C RVs 25 feet or longer and buses need a Bus/RV pass. Vehicles longer than 40 feet aren't allowed in the complex.

Rules that catch people out

A parking pass is a one-time entry with no re-entry, overnight parking isn't allowed, and nobody, on foot or in a car, gets in before the gates open. Only ticketed guests may enter the complex, and the Chiefs can ask to see your ticket at any time.
