Last verified: October 1, 2026, against the Panthers' parking, accessibility and traffic pages and SpotHero's listings for the October 4 game.
Bank of America Stadium has plenty of parking around it. The problem is not supply. The problem is ending up on the wrong side of Uptown and getting trapped when Mint Street and Morehead start choking after the game. This page matters because your route out of Charlotte is more important than shaving a few minutes off the walk in.
ParkingAccess doesn't sell Bank of America Stadium parking. The Panthers' parking page has the Morehead Street and Church Street route maps.

Best for the shortest walk and the cleanest arrival.
Use when: you care more about pregame convenience than the fastest exit.
Best value if you want to avoid the thickest Mint Street backup.
Use when: your priority is a cleaner drive home, not the absolute shortest walk.
Best fallback when Uptown is already locked up.
Use when: you already have a Blue Line-friendly route or want to skip downtown garage friction entirely.
| Option | Price & Location | Reality Check |
|---|---|---|
| Uptown garages, 7 to 11 minutes on foot | SpotHero listed them from $20 to $41 for the October 4 game, before fees. | Best value if you are fine with a longer walk and choose the side of Uptown that points you the right way home. |
| Lots and decks, 3 to 5 minutes on foot | SpotHero listed them at $55 to $70 for the October 4 game, before fees. | Better if you care about convenience on the way in, but not always the smartest move once Mint locks up. |
| Accessible shuttle parking | $40 per vehicle at 720 E. Morehead Street for the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center shuttle, Panthers games only. An accessible parking placard is required. | The stadium has no reserved handicap parking, so this is the official option. The shuttle starts about two hours before kickoff, and return service starts at halftime. |
| CATS light rail | Brooklyn Village Station on the LYNX Blue Line; Carson and Convention Center stations are also within blocks. $4.40 round trip, Park and Ride included. | Buy the two-way ticket in the CATS-Pass app before you ride; security checks tickets. |
If you are driving in from the south or west, the best move is usually parking for the direction you need after the event, not parking for the shortest walk. At Bank of America Stadium, that one choice often matters more than which lot operator you picked.
The local mistake here is treating the closest Uptown garage like the smartest garage. After Panthers games or stadium concerts, letting the first wave burn off or walking farther before pickup usually beats sitting in a dead queue pointed at Mint Street.
If you are locking down both seats and parking, check ticket inventory before the closer lots disappear first.
Book Tickets on Vivid SeatsThe Panthers don't publish one opening time. Parking operators lease spaces near the stadium game by game or for the season, so each lot sets its own hours; check the entry time on your SpotHero or Ticketmaster reservation. Fans with assigned Panthers parking get digital passes by email before the season.
CATS light rail. The LYNX Blue Line stops at Brooklyn Village Station, just over a football field from the stadium, and the Carson and Convention Center stations are also within blocks. A round trip is $4.40 in the CATS-Pass app, and parking at the Blue Line's Park and Ride lots is included.
Bank of America Stadium has no reserved handicap parking. For Panthers games only, Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center runs a shuttle for guests with disabilities from 720 E. Morehead St. It costs $40 per vehicle, needs an accessible parking placard, starts about two hours before kickoff and drops you at Mint and Graham Streets; return service starts at halftime. Drop-off for guests with disabilities is at Mint and Morehead Streets.
