What the arena charges in 2026-27

The arena's event pages, not its general pricing page, carry the current numbers. Every Hurricanes game and concert listed for September through November shows the same two lines: cars and vans at $32 prepaid or $45 on site, and limousines, buses, mini-buses and RVs at $100 or $150. A year earlier, in April 2025, the same pages listed $27 and $40, so the price rose about 12 percent.

The arena's parking pricing page still leads with the 2026 Stanley Cup Final rates of $65 prepaid or $95 on site, with a note that the figures are for reference and subject to change. Ignore it for regular-season games and use the event page for the date you're attending. The same pricing page lists NC State men's basketball at $25 prepaid or $30 on site.

• How to prepay: the arena names ParkWhiz as its advance seller, and says parking can also be added at Ticketmaster checkout for most events, though not for NC State basketball. Season ticket members can buy season parking through the Hurricanes.
• Payment: cashless everywhere on the property. Cashiers scan every pass.
• Gates: reserved passes enter Gate F on Westchase Blvd or Gate D on Trinity Rd. General parking can use Gates A, B, E and F.
• Opening time: select lots open three hours before hockey games. The event pages list 4 p.m. for 7 p.m. games and 5 p.m. for the September concerts.
• Overflow: the arena's capacity map sends traffic to the Carter-Finley Stadium lots when the property is full.
• Leaving: cars have to be off the property within an hour of the end of the event, or by 8 a.m. the next day at the latest. Circulation between lots is prohibited, and the building itself has no re-entry.

Tailgating rules

Tailgating is allowed, with limits from the arena's parking guide and policies: one space per vehicle, set up only directly in front of or behind your car, and no charcoal or wood-burning grills. The arena's tailgating procedures file, still labeled for 2024-25, suggests the Carter-Finley grass lots if you want room to spread out.

Hurricanes home games, September to November 2026

From the official schedule. The arena reopens from summer renovation work in mid-September, and the first hockey on the calendar is a preseason game.

The arena shares its 80 acres with Carter-Finley Stadium. NC State's remaining 2026 home football dates are September 26, October 3, October 10, October 31, November 7 and November 14, and on those days the football rules apply to the shared lots: gates open five hours before kickoff, cashless only. The North Carolina State Fair runs October 15 to 25 on the property next door, which affects the Oct 21 arena concert but no Hurricanes game.

Off-site lots and the apps

This is a suburban arena surrounded by its own lots and the fairgrounds, so the marketplaces have little to sell. On September 14, ParkWhiz listed the arena's own lots for the Rod Wave concert on September 15, VIP at $100, Premier at $60, general at $32, and RV at $100, but for the September 22 and 29 Hurricanes games it showed a single listing, the Westover Lot at 5211 Hillsborough St for $15, a 0.9-mile walk. Many later hockey dates were marked as having no reserved parking. SpotHero listed the same Westover Lot and nothing else, at $30 for its September events. JustPark had no listings for the arena.

Hillsborough Street itself is metered at $1.50 an hour, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, according to the City of Raleigh. The street's merchants association says it does not run any lots. The arena prohibits parking on roadways, medians and grass malls on the property.

Rideshare and taxis

The arena runs one drop-off and pickup point for Uber, Lyft and taxis: across the main roadway from VIP Parking, next to the TowneBank Center at Carter-Finley Stadium, entered from Trinity Road at Gate C, according to the arena's transportation page. Taxis stage next to the pickup lanes.

Getting there without a car

• GoRaleigh Route 27L Blue Ridge serves Trinity Road and Blue Ridge Road, with stops at Blue Ridge and Trinity and at Blue Ridge and Westchase, a short walk from the arena. Fares are $1.25 one way or $2.50 for a day pass. Axios Raleigh reported in April 2026 that the last bus runs at 11 p.m., and the city said it would need 10 to 15 more buses to run real event service.
• GoCary Route 2 serves the arena and Carter-Finley on its Cary to West Raleigh run. GoCary was fare-free through June 30, 2026, and has not published what happens after that date. Check before you ride.
• Wolfline Route 60 is NC State's free bus and serves the Carter-Finley park-and-ride on weekdays only, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. NC State says it detours away from Karmanos Drive and Westchase Blvd around 9:15 p.m. on arena event nights, so it will not get you home after a game.
• GoTriangle has no route that stops at the arena.

Accessible parking

There is no separate accessible pass to buy. Arrive with a state hangtag or placard displayed and staff will direct you to the accessible spaces, which the arena's accessibility page places in the East and West lots. The price is the same as general parking.

Renovation and road work to know about

• The arena is in a multi-year enhancement project it calls Lenovo Center 2.0, with new primary entrances planned on the east and west sides. Its pages publish no parking impact for 2026-27, and its most recent parking map is still the 2025-26 version.
• WRAL reported in December 2025 and April 2026 that construction of the surrounding entertainment district, including two parking decks with 1,800 spaces, is scheduled to start after the 2026 NC State football season and will not affect 2026 football parking. NC State's own planning page still shows an older, tentative note that the 1000 Lot and East VIP Lot would go offline. Treat lot assignments as subject to change and check your pass.
• NCDOT's I-440 project keeps Blue Ridge Road closed at the railroad tracks just south of Hillsborough Street until the work nears completion, which NCDOT puts at 2027 for Blue Ridge Road. NC State warns fans that leaving after events takes longer because of it. The arena's directions use the Wade Avenue exit and Edwards Mill Road.

What this guide doesn't recommend

• Trusting the pricing page. It still leads with playoff rates. The event page for your date has the real price.
• Paying at the gate if you can prepay. The same space costs $13 more on site, and the gate lines are where the wait is.
• Planning on the bus for a night game. The 11 p.m. last bus and the Wolfline detour leave you stranded after overtime.
• Parking on the grass or roadways. The arena prohibits it and the property is patrolled.
