Every Texans lot on one map
The Texans list ten lots around Reliant Stadium: eight colors, plus Gold and Platinum, which sit inside the big south lot. Green, Yellow and Purple are entered from Main Street, Blue and Red from Kirby Drive, and Orange and Maroon from Fannin Street. The south end of the Red Lot and the Teal Lot are the closest to the stadium.
| Lot | Where it is (tap for a map pin) | Enter from | Lot center to the stadium | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | North of the stadium, between Kirby Drive and North Stadium Drive | Kirby Drive | About 390 to 960 ft, by section | Three sections; the south one is the closest parking to the stadium on our map. |
| Teal | West of Kirby Drive, at 1377 Murworth Drive | Murworth Drive, per Reliant Park's lot directions | About 510 ft | One of the two closest lots to the stadium. |
| Gold | North part of the south lot, between the stadium and NRG Arena | The Texans' route comes in from Holly Hall Street and Fannin Street | About 610 ft | A section inside the Blue Lot area. |
| Green | West of Kirby Drive, on Lantern Point Drive north of Westridge Street | Main Street | About 810 ft | |
| Blue | South of the stadium along Kirby Drive and Loop 610, at 8825 Kirby Drive | Kirby Drive | About 990 ft; the far corner about 1,920 ft | The biggest lot. Reliant Park sends stadium events through Gate 9, at Kirby and Westridge. |
| Purple | North-west, on McNee Road at 1143 McNee Road | Main Street | About 1,090 ft | |
| Platinum | West end of the south lot, by Kirby Drive | Not stated by the Texans | About 1,150 ft | Opens 5 hours before kickoff, an hour before the other lots. |
| Orange | East side along Fannin Street, at 8309 Fannin Street | Fannin Street | About 1,570 ft | Beside the Stadium Park/Astrodome METRORail station, past the Astrodome from the stadium. |
| Yellow | Far north-west, along Main Street at 9003 South Main Street | Main Street | About 1,790 ft | On sale through FEVO for the remaining 2026 home games. Rideshare drop-off is at Yellow 35, Gate 16B. |
| Maroon | South-east corner by Fannin Street and Loop 610, at 8600 Fannin Street | Fannin Street | About 2,080 ft | On sale through FEVO for the remaining 2026 home games. The farthest lot from the stadium. |
Lots are sorted from closest to farthest. Distances are straight lines from the middle of each lot (for Gold and Platinum, the Texans' own pin) to the nearest edge of the stadium, measured on our map; real walks bend around fences and traffic, so treat them as minimums. Pins come from Reliant Park's lot directions, and for Gold and Platinum from the Texans.
Buying a pass for a Texans game
The Texans sell game-day parking through FEVO, which lists only Yellow and Maroon passes for the remaining 2026 home games: the Giants on October 25, the Colts on Thursday, November 19, the Ravens on November 29, the Jaguars on December 20 and the Titans on a date still to be announced. FEVO's list of games doesn't show prices.
- Tickets: everyone over age 2 who enters the property needs a game ticket or a Tailgate Ticket, parking pass or not.
- No pass: the Texans tell fans without parking to use rideshare or public transit.
- Motorcycles need their own pre-purchased pass. RVs, buses and oversized vehicles need at least two passes, and one for every space they take up.
- Other events at Reliant Park, such as concerts, sell parking through JustPark from Reliant Park's site. Re-entry costs another parking fee, and refunds aren't offered.
How far each lot is from the stadium
On our map the middle of the Teal Lot is about 510 feet from the stadium and the south section of the Red Lot about 390 feet. Orange, often described as close-in, sits about 1,570 feet away past the Astrodome, and Maroon, one of the two lots on sale, is the farthest at about 2,080 feet.
How we measured: straight lines on OpenStreetMap geometry from the middle of each lot to the nearest point of the stadium outline. OpenStreetMap draws Gold and Platinum as part of one large south lot, so for those two we measured from the points the Texans' own route links lead to. The METRORail station is about 1,980 feet from the stadium by the same measure, and the rideshare drop-off at Yellow 35 about 2,400 feet.
Getting out after the game
The Texans aim to clear every lot within 50 to 60 minutes after the game, and they warn that night games bring heavier traffic both ways. Houston police and parking staff send cars out by traffic flow, so you may not leave the way you came in.
- Postgame tailgating is allowed for one hour after the game; then the lots close.
- No overnight parking: every vehicle has to leave the property after the game.
Rideshare, METRORail and accessible parking
On Texans game days, rideshare and taxis drop off at Yellow 35, Gate 16B, off Main Street. METRORail runs for every Texans home game to the Stadium Park/Astrodome station on Fannin Street, at $1.25 a ride, or $0.60 with a discount fare.
- Accessible parking is in every Reliant lot, first come, first served, with a state placard or plate and a pre-paid pass. Show the placard at the lot and staff direct you to the accessible section closest to the stadium.
- Tailgate gear such as tents and tables can't go in an accessible space unless it stays within the same space as the vehicle.
Tailgating rules for Texans games
Each pass covers one 8 by 16 foot space, and your setup can't cross the blue lines into the drive lane. Spaces are first come, first served for the first hour, with no saving spots, so friends who want to tailgate together should arrive together.
- Grills: open flames are allowed, but liquid charcoal starter and other flammable liquids are banned, and unattended pits must be put out.
- Noise: speakers can't go above 68 decibels, under the City of Houston sound ordinance.
- Before kickoff: tents, chairs and other gear must be put away before you go into the stadium.
- Not allowed in the lots: pets other than service animals, golf carts, Segways, motorized coolers, skateboards, bicycles and large balloons.
Rodeo parking at Reliant Park
RodeoHouston runs its own parking: the Yellow Lot (Gate 16), the 610 Lot (Gate 19 or 20) and the OST Lot each cost $25 per car, tax not included, and every rodeo lot is cashless. Free trams run between the lots and the grounds.
- Accessible parking during the rodeo is in the Blue and Yellow lots, $25 a day, first come, first served.
- Park and ride: $25 per car at the satellite lots, and the shuttle ride is free.
