The stay itself was pleasant, however I see myself forced to only give one star as I’m extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. From what I’ve experienced and read in some other reviews, I have the feeling that they try to scam people that don’t pay close attention to what happens with their credit card.
This was my encounter here regarding this:
1. We had a pre-payed room. They still locked the costs for a full room on my card for a week (on top of the deposit!) until I asked to finally release the money. This took 2 phone calls.
2. We stayed for one night which would have cost 35$ for parking. They charged me double. After problem 1 was finally solved they promised to rescue the parking fee to 25$.
That’s been over 2 weeks now.
Still no money on my account and my emails go unanswered.
Stay away from this hotel if you don’t want to fight to not get overcharged.
They were so kind, I had just travelled over 16 hours to get back home. And to top it off. My flights had been cancelled beforehand, before being rebooked. It was quite a stressful ordeal, pushing me back and full day of travels. So to arrive home and be welcomed so genuinely and taken care of by Four Points wonderful staff. Especially Kelly at the front desk who was so kind and understanding. It was a great welcome home. Their breakfast was great and their beds incredibly comfy. Got a full night sleep even with the jet lag.
Staff nice and friendly. Room clean and beds comfy. Pet/work dog friendly place. Washer and dryer available for $3 of quarters each in the employee locker room.
Just beware and aware the airport shuttle drops you off at arrivals downstairs near your airline. You have to drag your suitcases across the street then to the escalators to go upstairs to departures. There are no porters and very few luggage carts there at 4am. In my case, I’m handicapped so we had to find an elevator inside to get upstairs. If my sister, nephew and I knew this, we would have taken an Uber and gotten dropped off right outside of departures instead of struggling. The shuttle driver, “D”, was great.
Brewster’s NY steak was excellent!
Great customer service! Jasmin at the front desk was wonderful. Very nice! Housekeeping was nice also when I asked for extra towels. Gave 4 stars because my desk chair was all ripped and worn which for what they charge a night should not be. Despite that the room was extremely clean and comfortable. A few updates and this hotel would be 5 stars!
The stay here was very nice, albeit a little more expensive considering what I was expecting. The lobby area seems like it was recently upgraded, so it looks very modern and inviting, including the bar and restaurant. The rooms, on the other hand, feel a little old. Even though some modern touches have been added, remnants of the original room remain. Still, my stay was comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly.
