Poor signage to find hotel. Drove around 3 times. Very nice people working there. Room older but bed was delicious. Quiet with nice view if planes. Great coffee bar in lobby.
It's tough to rate hotels during Covid since most of their appealing features and amenities have been suspended. However, my room was nice, the mattress was comfortable, the linens were decent, but the bath towels were a bit threadbare. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
This hotel is should be rated 3 star, we checked in for 3 nights and it was defiantly not what we were hoping for. We had late flight that came in around 1 am and when we got in we were told we had no reservation even though we booked it almost a week before and prepaid. After showing them our confirmation they determined evening shift checked someone into our room. front desk night guy was very very nice and took care of us and got us into a king bed room. As far as the room goes the shower and whole plumbing system was horrible, shower pressure was really bad and the sink drainage is super slow. The 3 night we were there housekeeping did not come in at all to clean and on top of that they have you Pay for a parking even though it’s 7 floor parking garage that’s practically empty. They charge you $17 dollars for one time access or $40 dollars if you want in and out. You are better off booking residence in next to them.
I had an excellent stay - was allowed to check in a bit early, offered a late checkout, and was more impressed with the amenities and facility than one of the legacy hotels down the street where I have previously stayed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking is expensive at all of these LAX area hotels, that's not a Sonesta thing. I didn't park a car but I noticed there is free street parking if you look for it.
Beware of their hidden fees. They charge 450 dollar deposit after I arrived here from Arizona, and they charged me 120 dollars for parking for 3 days. I will never be back to this rip off hotel!
They also do not have microwaves in the room and I was on the 11th floor and had to go all the way down to the sixth floor to use the only microwave in the hotel. There's soda machine that was there with the microwave was sold out. I also didn't know that I had to call down to the main desk to request somebody clean my room. I've stayed at cheaper motels and had an enormously better time than I did staying at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
Had a pleasant stay on the 15th floor overlooking the city lights. Self parking is $40, add another $50 for valet service. Great location, 20 minute drive to the beach if you have the time.
Went to Noe at the Sonesta Los Angeles Airport for drinks...it is beautiful inside with gorgeous views of Downtown. The place is dimly lit with indoor fire pits and the servers are nice...this is a nice bar to have drinks after work (if you work downtown) or a nice place to meet up with friends for a drink. It is pretty busy on a Friday fyi, there is some street metered parking but it is very limited, your best bet is to park in one of the underground lots, i paid 7.00 next door to the hotel.
I can't say enough positive things about our stay! We stayed three nights and had an amazing experience. Everything was extremely clean and convenient. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. We used the complimentary car a couple times and my son said he felt like a celebrity. Great room, pool, gym, lobby and restaurants. We would definitely stay again if we are in LA perfect location with access to anywhere in LA.
If anyone is trying to find bargain deals for hotels and resorts check ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ booked a hotel room on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
clean rooms great staff. i recommend them to everyone of all ages. I will definitely be returning for another visit. It makes it much easier to travel with a great staff. facility deserves an A rating.
First things first, you'll notice a stellar lobby. I don't usually spend lots of time in lobbies, but this one begged me to enter and stay a while. Relax on the couch, sit by the cozy fireplace. It was stylish and comfortable, and I spent plenty of time on those chairs by the elevator.
It’s my first time to sleep with ants. Ants were everywhere.
