Booked a room at the last minute because I had a change in plans.

They were able to let me check in early so I could take a quick nap before heading out again.

I didn't get her name but the Asian lady in the gift shop was very nice and super helpful, willing stay open for a bit even after she was ready to close for the moment. She's a real lifesaver.

All the staff helped answered my questions and assisted to my needs.

Airport shuttle came in clutch and was able to get me to airport on time.

The next time I'm in Los Angeles, this is definitely one of the first places I'll keep in mind.

Nice place. However some rooms look quite dated. Mine had some bad stains on bathroom baseboard. Strong chemicals smell but not enough to bother me. My wife would not take it though. Food was plentiful and good. Staff was great. Would stay again.

I really don't get the bad reviews. Is there one wing of this place that is a nightmare? My room was clean.. bed comfortable..AC worked amazing.. 62 degrees all night. Shuttle was on time and fast. Staff were friendly helpful with every thing I asked. Elevators worked perfectly. Saw zero roaches. Showers were scalding hot. The burger in the restaurant was 20 bucks but it tasted like it was worth 20 bucks.

I guess if I had much of a complaint it would be the water pressure in the sink was low.

My room was on the 8th floor.

I’m not sure why the ratings are low here. I found the staff very helpful, the room was clean and updated, the bar/restaurant was basic but totally solid and even the gym was good. I didn’t go to the pool but it looked really nice and I liked the lobby communal area. The shuttle to LAX was quick and easy and I didn’t even have to wait at 5am. I’d definitely stay again.

Because of the flight cancellation on 6/19, Delta books a room for us. The shuttle bus is very convenient to the airport only just one mile away. When we arrive at the hotel, it's late, and we have a long waiting line due to a lot of flight cancellations. However, the front desk is very nice, and patient. Surprise we got a suite type, since the hotel is old, the scents are not fancy, but clean. The bed is comfortable, and I love the smell of bath products.

Good day! I hope you're doing well. I recently came across several reviews and felt compelled to share my perspective, as I believe they were somewhat unfair. I found its location to be excellent, and the room itself was clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was also commendable.

One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the convenience of the transportation to and from LAX. The shuttle service made the journey hassle-free and straightforward. I'm not entirely sure what the other reviewers were anticipating, but my experience at the hotel was devoid of any complaints.

Granted, it's worth noting that the rooms may not have the most modern decor, but everything in my room worked perfectly fine, and cleanliness was not an issue at all. If you're seeking a luxurious experience, it might be worth considering alternative accommodations that offer more upscale amenities. However, if you're simply looking for a comfortable place to rest your head and rejuvenate, this hotel is a suitable choice.

I would like to express my gratitude for the provision of clean bed linen and towels, which greatly contributed to a pleasant stay. Given our previous 14-hour flight to LA and another upcoming 15-hour flight to our final destination, having a comfortable and well-prepared space was essential.

I must also highlight the assistance provided by a staff member named Musie. He took the time to provide us with valuable local information, particularly recommending trendy restaurants in the vicinity. We were genuinely grateful for his efforts to enhance our experience.

Overall, despite some minor outdated aspects, I had a positive stay at this hotel. If you're seeking a convenient location, cleanliness, and friendly service without expecting excessive luxury, I believe this establishment will meet your needs.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any resort. They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure!

I've had a great experience at this hotel. I have to use an ADA room and it's always clean and everything works. Exceptional service from manager Trevor and front desk, particularly Jorge. The lobby restaurant is also nice with a great selection and friendly staff. I've stayed here about four times in the last few weeks and have had a great stay each time.

This property was booked for me by a family member, for an overnight stop between international flights. As such, I was exhausted by the time I checked in at 11:15pm. Service was great, and getting there by shuttle was easy, hassle-free. All of the staff acted professionally and I felt like a valued guest at all times. Although I missed having some food at the bar (closed at 11), the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The dining team were kind and met my every need. The airport sounds from outside were sometimes audible, but it’s an airport hotel so it’s to be expected. 10/10 I would stay here again. The bedding and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean.

The Goods: Reception gave a nice price break on the $50/day parking fee on check in. Good breakfast buffet and very good waiters. Water pressure and flow rate! Ice machine never ran out. Convenient to LAX and plenty of good local restaurants.

The Not-So-Goods: Hotel is not up to Sheraton standards - appearance wise. Vending/ice machine area on 5th floor is dirty.

Staff was friendly and the room was okay. We were caught off guard to find their airport shuttle didn't start until 6 AM which is why we stayed at a hotel near the airport. We had to find alternate transportation. It would have been nice to have these restricted shuttle times on the website at checkout.

14 days. Had a great time with my parents, a room with 2 kingsized beds. Room, bathroom getting cleaned every day which we were really satisfied with. Sadly the windows were a little dirty but still had an amazing view seeing planes land every morning you wake up..🤩 Staff was really helpful and kind. For the rest everything was great for the price.

We arrived on a busy Saturday evening. Upon checking in, I was told they didn’t have any double queen rooms (that we had booked and paid for) available and wouldn’t for at least an hour or so. I told them we had to have two queens or at least a queen and a sofa bed. I could tell the front desk staff truly wanted to make it work for us. After a few minutes they were able to provide us with a two queen beds. Front desk staff were very helpful and kind. We stayed in room 208 and although the whole place could use updates and a deep clean, our room was clean and nice. We called hospitality and requested a crib—they brought one up within minutes. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the towels were soft and clean. We did get an occasional whiff of weed through the night, but that’s not the hotel’s fault—it is definitely the inconsiderate, idiot guests who are smoking the pot! We had no issues with the shuttle—we got right on and made it to the airport quick at 5:15am! I waited to write a review until I knew that the $350 deposit was back on my card, it was this morning. We had no issues with this hotel and would stay again.

Our flight from LAX was cancelled twice. The airline was unable to get us a room anywhere for the first cancellation due to all being full at our late hour. For the second they accommodated us by providing a room here. From walking in the door we were treated with dignity and respect. Staff truly showed empathy toward our peril, very welcoming. Hotel is very clean, rooms comforting, pillows perfect. All staff was very helpful. Hotel restaurant was fantastic and the bartender was such a pleasure to sit with. Very, very pleased with this business.

I was reading many of the recent reviews but I do not feel they were very fair. I was in LA for a few days for WrestleMania 39 and this hotel was in a good location and the room was clean and service was good. The transportation to and from LAX for the shuttle was easy and convenient. I am unsure what others who reviewed are expecting but we did not have any complaints for our stay. I understand the rooms may be a bit outdated but everything in the room worked fine and all was clean. If you are expecting a lot of luxury pay more for another place otherwise this is a good place to stay to rest your head and stay refreshed.

For the most part, I had a wonderful stay here. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and polite. The atmosphere and food in the restaurant are great. The rooms are clean and spacious. Also, I like the decorations in the lobby. The front desk staff checked me in quickly and even allowed me to check in early! The only reason I can't give the hotel five stars is that I waited for the airport shuttle for 25 minutes, and when he finally arrived, he did not even stop to check if any of the ten people standing to wait for the airport shuttles were waiting for his hotel. He was driving fast when he was approached, so I came forward with luggage in both hands. I couldn't wave my hands and didn't think I needed to anyway, as I thought he would stop. He sped off fast, and I was in shock. So I called the hotel, and they called him right away to have him return. It took him another 15 minutes to return because the traffic at LAX was so bad. So my only suggestion to the hotel is to ensure that the drivers properly stop at every hotel pick-up station at the airport.

The hotel and rooms are definitely outdated, but it is an old hotel and our room was clean and kept up with. They offer late dining and bar, even on weeknights, which was nice. The food was good. They offer a free shuttle to the airport which was a perk we didn’t expect. All staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. For the price and location to LAX, it’s hard to beat.

Well, I had the luxury of staying at the Sheridan. I had the joy of experiencing very kind and respectful individuals. along with that the experience for me was truly splendid. Could not have asked for a better experience than what was given to me by the staff listed below, Antonio the front desk agent was very kind and well mannered, he was able to help us with our room with in moments of arrival. The other person who stood out the most and went beyond the job description was the over night supervisor Myrrah. She insured that everything we asked was answered and was very patient with me even though there was a bit of a line. Last but not least I will have to say a big thank you to the server at the morning buffet because he had insured that everyone had what they wanted and also insured that everyone had a smile on their face. It’s a very nice staff that the Sheridan hotel has working for them. Thank you for the experience and I look forward to going back to stay.

I have stayed at this location on two (2) separate occasions in 2016 & 2018. I was a Starwood platinum member. Both my stays were on points. The location is convenient. When you land at LAX, there is a shuttle service to the hotel. I used this property to stay on upon my arrival because it is easy to get to and the next day, you can use the shuttle service to pick up your rental at LAX and save on the parking. I also used this property the night before I leave because I can return the rental the night before (again, save one night of parking) and take the shuttle back to the hotel and use the shuttle again in the morning to catch my flight without worrying about traffic or delays. The rooms are clean and basic (you get what you pay for). The staff is friendly. I look forward to visiting this property using the Marriott loyalty program.

When we first pulled up to the hotel, we were pretty disappointed because the outside of the hotel looked pretty run down. Once you step into the lobby though, everything is nicely decorated & kept up. Rooms were clean & quiet. My only complaint is the ridiculously slow check out.

We had a rough day of traveling, missing flights due to not enough staffing at the airport, took a flight on the suggestion of a TSA staff member only to have the connection to that flight be over booked so we got bumped. Took another flight into LA and had a layover and room booked compliments of Dallas airport AA. Reviews about the hotel were poor. The lobby is beautiful, the hotel is a little out dated and yes it’s a little musty because the property is old but let me tell you….there is something to be said for a wonderful staff. The receptionist was so nice and we checked in without a hitch! The hotel room was clean. In the middle of the night one of us got very sick and we had to call down for a new set of linens and at first he only brought us a comforter. The kind man left and came back with a large plastic bag and a whole new set of linens and was so courteous and genuinely kind. His smile was very reassuring. We felt terrible but we were able to catch a couple of hours of sleep before our flight. So thank you so so much ☺️

The room was spacious, with good bathroom. The location is good right next to the airport and they have a shuttle every 15-20 minutes. The downside is that the noise from the airport is loud and the hotel doesn’t have any noise canceling. I had to have the AC on and some earplugs to cancel the noise. Besides that, the hotel is pleasant

The staff was friendly.

No breakfast included.

There is no fridge in the room and there is no ice machine in every floor.

What I expected - 3 star hotel at best, more like a 2.5 star. Room was clean (no smoke smells or bugs), no cleaning service which was fine by us. Rooms are a little old with multiple coats of paint but they weren't bad for the price. Overall would stay again if the price is right & traveling would others - definitely not a place for a single traveler to stay the night.
