The Seattle Airport Marriott at 3201 South 176th Street rents spaces in its own gated outdoor lot, about five minutes from Seattle-Tacoma International. You park the car yourself and keep the keys, and the hotel's regular guest shuttle takes you to the terminal.
Drive to the parking gate on the north side of the building, closest to 176th Street, and press the button to pull a parking ticket. Then drive around to the south side and park in the ten-row lot behind the hotel.
Keep both the parking ticket and your reservation confirmation with you. You need to show them to the valet attendant or the front desk to validate the parking and lock in the rate you booked. This is the step people most often miss.
After you collect your luggage, go to the airport parking garage, Level 3, and walk to the Courtesy Vehicle Pickup Area at Island 1B or 3B. The Marriott shuttle picks up there.
If you land late and need the shuttle between 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM, call the hotel directly on 206-241-2000 rather than waiting at the island.
Present the validated parking ticket along with your confirmation to the attendant on the way out. If the ticket was never validated at the desk, you can be charged the hotel's walk-up rate instead of the rate you booked.
People who prefer to keep their own keys and want a gated, lit lot with staff present at any hour. The shuttle runs every fifteen minutes around the clock, which makes it a reasonable option for very early departures and late arrivals. The lot is uncovered, so if keeping the car out of the rain matters, look at a covered garage instead.
