Absolutely the worst check in service ever. After having to wait for her to finish her personal conversation she turned, irritated that she had to check me in. Told me I was downgraded because they were sold out, even though I had a reservation weeks in advance. Was rude during the entire transaction and did not get even my water as a diamond member because “they were out of water” whatever that means. When I asked where to park she replied rudely “its down there’. Down there is a dark unlit area in a city with a huge homeless problem. I would not treat my worse customer this way much less someone who has the highest status. Manager would only talk to me if i didn’t complain. It is clearly a trend with Hilton and a hotel management that is not tasked with customer service. So many wonderful places to stay in this area, i would avoid this one and caution on the entire chain as I will be switching loyalties due to this stay.
Nice hotel in good condition. The staff was very nice & helpful. The room was clean & we didn't hear any road noise even though the freeway was very close. Overall, it's definitely up to Hilton standards.
I gave them four stars for convenience to the airport, comfort, and the amazing shuttle driver/baggage checker. He was friendly, kind, and engaging. I took away TWO stars for a terrible check-in policy. I will not book a stay with them in the future solely due to their check-in policy. Due to an early flight, we arrived at the hotel 1.5 hours prior to check-in time. The desk clerk actually said to us that our room was ready but we couldn't check in unless we paid an extra $25 for that privilege. My husband asked him why and he actually said, "Because we have people willing to pay to check in early." Seriously? Just because you can doesn't mean you should. So we had to check our bags with the concierge and carry our passports and other important documents with us as we spent time downtown, at the pier, and visiting museums. What a great way to ruin a customer's first impression of your business AND your city. This is just downright BAD management.
My husband and I missed our flight and in desperate need for a room. Amazingly they had availability. Many hotels surrounding did not. Staff was so super friendly and fast. Valet was easy both night and raining morning. Loved loved the garden Nd of course the steak house inside the hotel. Along with the Starbucks.
I ordered a rib eye porterhouse I believe and hands down was the best steak I have ever had. And I live me some good steak!!!
Service was fast our server was hilarious!!! Good customer service.
Chill and great view to the garden
Get a poolside room with a patio. My favorite oasis in a big loud city near an airport. Great pool and hot tub. Surrounded by greenery and flowers and you feel surrounded by peace. Excellent exercise room. Staff are wonderful. Parking is spendy - $38 so don’t get your rental till you are actually going to use it. Dining is limited. One place. It’s quite a full service conference center so it has what you need for large events.
