Motel 6 (SEA)

I’d mostly stayed at Night and morning. No complaints from me. 15 minute walking distance to SeaTac Airport and Link Rail Station. Fair price. Wished they had more rooms with Refrigerator and Microwave.

I was a bit frustrated initially because there was no information in the confirmation of where to receive their shuttle, the actual number to this location, and after checking in to the room, how to get to it. I went back outside before realizing that the entries are internal hall entrances. I found others outside doing the same and coming upon locked doors, so directed them of my findings. Also, all that is provided is 2 little bars of soap, so best you bring toiletries. OH, and there are only 3 movie channels to watch, unfortunately.

Nice, helpful, cooperative and GREAT STAFF. The room was more than I expected or needed. Affordable on my very tight budget...

If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel this is the place. Great location, I didn't have a car and this hotel was located right across the street from the bus stop. Took the bus to the lite rail and rode it everywhere in Seattle. They have an airport shuttle as well. A few special people at this location, Ava super helpful and friendly, Tina always willing to help, and John what a gem of a person. These three made our stay extra special. Although from the outside this property looked tired and worn, I was pleasantly surprised at the interior - the owners obviously tried to make it new and current, and it was immaculate. I felt as though I was in a very clean, modern motel.

Decent rooms, lacking a kettle or microwave but was a cheap room so not too bothered. Receptionist at the time of check in was really helpful so the service was good. It has a decent pool too.

I parked my car here for a total of 5 days. After reading a lot of reviews, I was skeptical about leaving my car in an unknown place. I arrived there and the young lady at the desk was very friendly. The shuttle arrived very quickly to drop me off at the airport. When I flew back in, I called for the shuttle for pick up and it took about 20 minutes to get there. The driver was very helpful and he dropped me off right at my car. He also made sure I got into my car and waited for me to drive off. I definitely will be coming back.

Good service and friendly staff. Had a nice, quiet stay for 2 days. Highly recommend!

Rooms were simple but clean. Unfortunately no fridge or microwave. I liked the desk and chair in the room which I used to do work on my laptop. The walls are thin and you can hear people talking in hallway. The shuttle was nice in taking me from the airport. There is also a nearby bus stop that you can take to the SeaTac train station which you can catch train to downtown Seattle. Hotel and area seemed safe to me. Good value!

I can’t say enough about Miss Tina at the front desk- she was SO beyond helpful and sweet! I am so grateful for her efficiency and effort. Also, I found the room to be clean and cute- perfect for my budget, and I was able to get here easily from SeaTac.

Nothing fancy here. A great place for a low price to rest for the night. Places for 26ft box trucks to park.

I booked a stay for two nights. I have stayed at a lot of Motel 6s and I have no complaints! It was close proximity to everything I needed. The room was clean. The water pressure in the shower was the best I have ever experienced anywhere! For the price I paid it was perfect!

Motel 6 Sea Tac South is VERY lucky to have you on staff!!!

First of all, I don't think they deserve the bad star rating they have! Hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable and the staff were all very helpful! They even gave me a free razor when I asked for information on where I could buy one, which was great cause I hadn't shaved my armpits in weeks!!!! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the bed didn't feel super stable

I love how they improve the rooms for non smoking rooms. Smells fresh. The wifi could be strengthen more, my laptop was going in and out when working. Vending machines work half the time, there is no coin exchange machine or digital reader. Overall I like staying here, the staff is awesome.

Better quality than typical motels. Cleaner, better furniture, and on-demand airport shuttle runs 24 hrs a day. I did not drive and I arrived with big suitcases, so I got a 1st-floor room with indoor hall entrance. Compared to some other motels I've been beforez I can feel safe here.

Why was it excellent? Many reasons!! And they start with the staff - Fernando, Ava and Tina were all very friendly and helpful not to mention hard working in helping their guests and each other. You could see that they take pride in their work and place of work - the room was clean with a shower consisting of hot water and great pressure. The beds were very comfortable. The price is affordable and a unique feature - this Motel 6 has rooms that open up to a hallway. It is not across from the Seattle airport but to me this was better because it is out of the hustle and bustle of people/cars/airport activities BUT it is very close to the airport (less than 10 minutes if before or after work hours). It is also close to the Tukwila Station Light Rail Line which Fernando suggested parking there and riding into downtown Seattle (free parking, $5 round trip ticket and peace of mind to not deal with traffic! What a deal!! We did it twice!) We flew in on a Sunday and stayed here then headed towards Totem Lake area but decided to come back for the last two nights because we really liked it at this Motel 6 and we had no regrets. Great Job to all the staff!!! Thank you for your efforts!

We ordered a room with 2 queen sized beds but we got a room with 2 full sized beds. We had just stayed the night before at a motel 6 on Portland with the same room ordered and this one was much smaller. There was no fridge and the bathroom is tiny. The shower head was not working properly. But the service at the front door was great.

Honestly, decent room. Least expensive in the area, but have no complaints. Clean, spacious, recently updated, cool girl at the front desk who was patient with others. Good stuff.

The lady at the front office was very sweet and funny. I'll definitely stay here again. I've had some pretty awful experiences at Motel 6's in the past, but not at this location. Excellent value and the room was quite nice for 50-60 bucks!

Ava was superb and went above and beyond. My stay was absolutely fantastic. My room was huge and very clean and well stocked

DO NOT GET THE PIZZA THEY RECOMMEND!!!!! Disgusting cardboard pizza. Pasta/Alfredo had a disgusting HEAVY lemon taste. Even the cheese bread sucks. How do you mess up cheese bread. This has nothing to do with the hotel besides them recommending it. Want to warn others.



You get what you pay for. Our motel room was clean and decent enough. However we never were able to get more towels or pillows, vending machine was broken, and the recommended pizza place was the most disgusting pizza food I’ve had in my LIFE.

This Motel 6 stood the test of time and has maintained a decent safe place to stay near the airport throughout the years. Although there is not a whole lot in the evening for a person to do it is definitely close to the airport and for the price it is very convenient. Water is always nice and hot it seems to be fairly private for the most part nice laundry the parking is well protected and a gas station right nearby enables a person even without a vehicle to be able to walk up starting at about 6:00 a.m. and purchase snacks or food at one point of his name Motel I was lucky enough to be the first to get a room as they replaced all the mattresses I have to say in the length and duration of stays at mini motels over the years it was the most comfortable sleep I had ever had as well after see you in the desperate model it made for unique stay although simple it had a little different twist compared to the norm featuring small little shelves fridge and microwave the shower and upright somewhat modernized tank Space Age type shape was just awesome it's super pressure super hot water awesome amount of towels probably another one of the best shower I'd experienced in a long time with pressure and hot water like you wouldn't believe. The television my last day however was not the best it was mounted and appeared to have some damage although it was a flat screen the reception wasn't the best and it seemed to be someone outdated as far as not being able to hook my phone to it. Definitely a Clean and tidy room. Laundry facility worked good and although there was not a whole lot of staff it seemed to be nice as far as not being under the watchful eye the staff 24/7 if you went to get a pop the oversight of the staff seemed friendly and at the same time securely watchful it it was also decent that one door was easy to use as a loading entrance without having to go through some secure hardship to go in and out of the building although the watch will cameras were poised to catch anybody if they were to be sneaking in or out which would obviously be not the best plan so I felt secure and at the same time my leisure trips to the gas station into the car or not a birdman thank you Motel 6 we'll see you again!

This was a very nice Motel 6 in a great neighborhood (right across for the Seatac city hall.). The motel is easy to get to from Interstate 5. This is a quiet neighborhood. The beds in our room are among the most comfortable motel beds we have ever slept on. I wholeheartedly recommend this Motel 6.

I enjoy my 2 weeks there. Had a wonderful experience with the staff.

This motel is very clean and I've stayed at a few really dirty one's with bugs. Not this one, I'll be coming back whenever I need a place to stay. Thank you for the clean comfortable room, plus the laundry room is affordable. Get your clothes clean, have a snack,then shower and off to bed for a good night sleep. Be sure to ask for your senior discount if your a senior.

My flight was canceled in Seattle due to weather and I needed a place for the night. This was a great value, a nice room, comfortable bed, and very clean. It was a short 5-minute bus ride from the airport too! I was very happy with my experience

It's not a major hotel chain like the double tree or the Hilton but it's a place where you can rest up and recover from a hard day's work or a long haul on the road. It's clean and there's security for what it's worth. I would definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for somewhere just to lay your head down for the night while doing other things in the area, this place is perfect. The rooms are clean and the staff is exceedingly friendly. They offered us extra time in our room while waiting for the airport shuttle and also allowed us to hangout by the pool before our room was ready. While at the pool, we were even offered free waters from some of the staff. As far as location convenience, there isn't a whole lot nearby the motel as far as restaurants or activities are concerned. We elected to take a Lyft to the Link light rail station (costs ranged between 7-15 dollars to do this) and took the Link into downtown Seattle, which was convenient enough. It seems like other reviews might have been expecting a high end hotel when they booked a Motel 6... this Motel 6 is clean, kind, and a good deal for the price.

My son, his fiance, & their very well mannered pooch were recently abandoned up in Seattle. They tried to stay with a friend of my son's...only to have their eyes opened WIDELY...(his buddy hadn't stopped his heroin abuse)

My son rented a room and waited for my other sons arrival from California. In light of the Alameda fire as well as others my son couldn't get up their.

I called the office...spoke to Olivia explained to her that I was trying to navigate a cash sending app, but it might take me past the checkout time.



She was not only understanding...she was encouraging and supportive.

The motel itself was adequate id say but I’m really giving 5 stars because the girl at the front desk was literally the best! She was very sweet and knowledgeable about the area and made us feel so welcome! I wish we could get that experience at every place we stay while out of town. My husband and I both agree that we will stay there again if she is there the next time we go to Washington. Thank you Tina for your kindness, consideration and thank you for helping us find some great spots in the area! We will definitely remember you.

They have new management and they are changing that place for the better I've stayed there many times I've never had an issue there at all

They are kid friendly they are definitely PET FRIENDLY.The Maids are really nice and the maitance crew will help if you are in need of something an they have great prices and air port shuttle back an forth an they also have park an fly .for your vehicles.too a gasstation right up the street walking distance .cop shop across the street even . Most of all the owner Jay and head Manager Faye Do there very best to keep there customers happy .

Was looking for cost effective room and found exactly what I was looking for. Location was right off of freeway, so access was great. Simple, clean and efficient. If you are looking for luxury, wrong place. But if you are on a budget, great deal!

Good clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice and handy to the airport too. The showers are good, the toilets in America are weird, they have so much water I think you'd wet your butt if you're not careful. 🙂

This place has been great. For the most part very quiet. Best close to town also has a coffee place right next door and a vegetarian place to eat.

great service, very helpful front desk, my dogs were very welcome. its a very clean and safe place, great for ladies travelling alone and very close to the airport.

I think it’s great here for a Motel 6. My room was clean, quiet, and it seems to be a safe neighborhood. Also, Tina at the front desk was so sweet and helpful too! It’s been a perfect place for me to crash after work.

Very well ran location, clean, efficient, professional, safe, shuttles to and from Sea Tac Airport, fresh coffee. Faith the manager is a rock star and so is the crew she has assimilated. Highly recommend this location. I stay at many 6's and these guys are for sure one of the best!

Judith was fantastic. I had a problem with noisey neighbors she moved me to another room which I really appreciated. She helped me wirh directions and ideas of things to do since this is my first time to Seattle. She was so nice and patient with me. I highly recommend staying at this Motel 6 because of Judith.
