Last verified: September 15, 2026. Garage rates, payment rules and pickup points come from the FLL pages on broward.org and the airport's November 7, 2024 rate notice, fares from Broward County Transit and Tri-Rail, and off-site prices from a live ParkingAccess search run September 15, 2026 for October 2 to October 9, 2026, plus the SpotHero, ParkWhiz, The Parking Spot and lot sites listed at the end.
Disclosure: ParkingAccess sells reservations for the off-site lots priced on this page and earns a commission plus a $9.95 service fee on each booking. The airport's own garages and lots cannot be booked through ParkingAccess.
FLL's three garages charge $2 per 20 minutes, up to $20 a day on long-term levels and $36 a day on short-term levels; curbside valet is $30 a day and an overflow lot opens at $10 a day at peak periods. Those rates took effect November 20, 2024. The cheapest live off-site quote for 7 nights, October 2 to October 9, 2026, was $53.27 all-in at Homewood Suites, 1.2 miles out, against $140 for the same week in a long-term garage. Long-term levels are Hibiscus 3 to 7, Palm 2 to 4 and Cypress 6 to 9. The airport publishes no reservation option, so a guaranteed space means booking off-site.
What FLL charges in its own garages
Every garage runs the same clock: $2 per 20-minute interval up to the daily maximum, $20 on long-term levels and $36 on short-term levels. Curbside valet is a flat $30 a day with no proration, the overflow lot is $10 a day at peak periods only, and the first 20 minutes are free.
| Option | Where | Rate | Daily maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Long-term self-park | Hibiscus levels 3 to 7, Palm levels 2 to 4, Cypress levels 6 to 9 | $2 per 20 minutes | $20 |
| Short-term self-park | Palm level 1, Hibiscus level 2 only | $2 per 20 minutes | $36 |
| Curbside valet | Departures level, west end of Terminal 1 and west end of Terminal 4 | $30 per day, no proration | $30 |
| Overflow lot | Address not published; peak periods only | $10 per day | $10 |
The figures took effect November 20, 2024, per the airport's rate change notice, which raised the long-term maximum from $15 to $20 and valet from $25 to $30, kept short-term at $36, and set the $2 per 20-minute increment, the first increase since 2015. The parking page showed the same numbers on September 15, 2026 and prints no effective date.
The airport warns that valet and self-parking can close temporarily at capacity during peak periods. Neither the parking page nor the payment options page offers a reservation or prepayment. Cashier booths take cash, checks and cards including Apple Pay and Google Pay, a self-service lane takes the ticket and a credit card, and the SunPass Plus lane bills your transponder with no extra fee.
Which garage serves which terminal
The airport publishes no garage-to-terminal map. It does say the Palm Garage's first floor is across a pedestrian crosswalk from Terminal 3, and that the Cypress Garage is reached by the Rental Car Center shuttle, with the center next to Terminal 1.
| Garage | Long-term levels | What the airport's pages say | How you reach it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Palm Garage | 2 to 4; short-term on level 1 | Rideshare pickup for Terminals 3 and 4 on its first floor | From Terminal 3, turn right and cross the pedestrian crosswalk |
| Cypress Garage | 6 to 9 | Served by the RCC/Cypress Garage Shuttle; the Rental Car Center is next to Terminal 1 | Terminal 1: Concourse B bridge, level 2; Terminals 2 to 4: free shuttle every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day |
| Hibiscus Garage | 3 to 7; short-term on level 2 | Terminal not published | Not published |
| Curbside valet | Not a garage | West end of Terminal 1 and west end of Terminal 4 | Departures level roadway |
Sources: the airport's ride share pickup page and ground transportation page. Walking times are not published. Off-airport shuttles pick up on the Arrivals level: Terminal 1 and 2 passengers use GTA 1, Terminal 3 and 4 passengers use GTA 3. GTA 2 has been closed since March 10, 2025 while a connector walkway is built, though the same page still lists a Tri-Rail stop there.
Airport garage or off-site lot: what 3 and 7 nights cost
A week in a long-term garage costs $140 at the $20 maximum. The lowest live off-site quote for October 2 to October 9, 2026 was $53.27 all-in at Homewood Suites, a gap of $86.73. The gap is widest for valet: $210 curbside against $102.81 for garage valet at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport lot.
| Option | 3 nights | 7 nights (Oct 2 to Oct 9, 2026) | How the number is built |
|---|---|---|---|
| Long-term garage | $60 | $140 | $20 maximum x nights |
| Short-term garage | $108 | $252 | $36 maximum x nights |
| Curbside valet | $90 | $210 | $30 x nights |
| Overflow lot (peak only) | $30 | $70 | $10 x nights |
| Homewood Suites, uncovered self-park | Not quoted | $53.27 | $53.27 quoted, taxes and the $9.95 fee included, plus $0 at the lot = $53.27 |
| Park By The Ports, uncovered self-park | Not quoted | $89.74 | $89.74 quoted for what the lot counts as 8 days, plus $0 at the lot = $89.74 |
| Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport, garage valet | Not quoted | $102.81 | $102.81 quoted plus $0 at the lot = $102.81 |
Garage rows multiply the daily maximum by the nights; the airport does not say how it prices a short final day, so treat them as the ceiling. Off-site rows are the totals ParkingAccess quoted for those dates on September 15, 2026, with nothing due at the lot. We ran only the 7-night search, so the 3-night off-site cells say not quoted. Against $140 the savings were $86.73 at Homewood, $84.79 at Springhill, $50.26 at Park By The Ports and $37.19 at the Marriott.

Park By The Ports counts October 2 to October 9 as 8 days, so its total covers one more day. Its home page says airport shuttles run on demand 24 hours a day, staff help with luggage, and the return shuttle is requested through a link on the claim ticket; it accepts no RVs and charges $10 per person beyond the first 4. The Homewood Suites and Fairfield Inn lots appear on SpotHero as Blue Planet Airport Parking, whose site promises a 24/7 shuttle with on-demand return but names no hours, and the hotels' marriott.com pages blocked our requests, so call the lot if you land late.
What happened to Park 'N Fly at FLL
The Parking Spot bought Park 'N Fly in February 2024, but at FLL it runs no lot of its own. Its Fort Lauderdale page sells three partner lots: Self Park FLL at 1001 Old Griffin Road, Dania Beach, 1.5 miles from the airport, and Park N Go Airport and Park N Go Cruise at 1101 Eller Drive, 2 miles out.
The deal is in The Parking Spot's February 6, 2024 release on prnewswire.com, which says nothing about rebranding. Its Fort Lauderdale location page labels each lot as not owned or operated by The Parking Spot, lists Park N Go as uncovered valet, and publishes no rates. The Park 'N Fly listing on ParkingAccess never appears in search, so it is left off the table.
What SpotHero and ParkWhiz showed for the same week
For October 2 to October 9, 2026, ParkWhiz quoted $99 all-in at Gold Coast Airport Parking, an uncovered valet lot at 3000 SE 6th Ave., and $168 at the Rodeway Inn & Suites FLL self-park lot at 2440 W. State Rd. 84, shuttle every 1 to 2 hours. SpotHero listed per-day prices from $10 at Le Meridien to $16.08 at Park 'N Go.
ParkWhiz's third lot, the Holiday Inn FLL Lot at 2905 Sheridan St., Hollywood, runs an hourly shuttle 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; its price did not capture cleanly, so it is not printed. See the ParkWhiz results for those dates and the Holiday Inn lot page. SpotHero's FLL page showed Le Meridien at 1825 Griffin Road from $10 a day, Gold Coast from $14.99 and Park 'N Go FLL at 1101 Eller Drive from $16.08. Neither shows distance on its cards, and SpotHero priced the Homewood Suites and Fairfield Inn lots from $11.25 and $11.15 a day against $5.95 and $8.95 on ParkingAccess. Park 'N Go is self-park on SpotHero and valet on The Parking Spot's page.
Getting to FLL: pickups, rideshare, taxis, bus and train
The airport's current site has no directions page and no cell phone lot page. Rideshare and taxi pickups are on the lower (Arrivals) level, Broward County Transit Route 1 stops at the Rental Car Center for a $2 cash fare, and Tri-Rail runs a free shuttle between the terminals and its Dania Beach station every 15 to 20 minutes during train hours.
| Option | Cost | Where at FLL |
|---|---|---|
| Short-term garage for a pickup | Free if you exit within 20 minutes; then $2 per 20 minutes up to $36 a day | Palm level 1 or Hibiscus level 2 |
| Rideshare pickup | Fee not published by the airport | Terminal 1: Zone Z. Terminal 2: GTA 2. Terminals 3 and 4: Palm Garage first floor. Drop-off on the upper level |
| Taxi | Regulated fares; the airport lists $18 to $21 to Port Everglades, $72 to Miami International, $135 to Palm Beach International | Dispatch stands on the Arrivals level at all four terminals |
| Broward County Transit Route 1 | $2 one-way cash fare, exact fare required; $5 all-day pass; $1 reduced fare | Rental Car Center, Stop G |
| Tri-Rail airport shuttle | Free for Tri-Rail passengers, about every 15 to 20 minutes during train hours | GTA 1 west of Terminal 1, GTA 2 as listed, GTA 3 between Terminals 3 and 4 |
The Tri-Rail station at 500 Gulf Stream Way is no bargain for a week: registered passengers park free for 12 hours a day, then pay $2 an hour or $12 a day, so 7 days run $84 before the shuttle. A Route 1 round trip is $4 in cash. Two claims from the old version of this page, an overflow lot address on SW 42nd Street and a tip to use the second lane from the left on the entrance road, are on no live airport page, so both are not published. The airport's address is 100 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.
Accessible parking, EV charging and oversize vehicles
Drivers with a disabled parking designation arrange the courtesy fee at a cashier booth. The airport's pages say nothing about EV charging, garage clearance or oversize vehicles, so those are not published. The one off-site lot with a written vehicle rule, Park By The Ports, refuses RVs.
The payment options page lists the courtesy designation without its terms, so call the valet and parking line at 954-359-8108 before you travel. The off-site lots above are surface lots except the Marriott garage, whose clearance is not listed.
Who should skip the garages, and who should skip the off-site lots
The garages suit short trips and anyone who wants to walk to the terminal. The off-site lots suit trips of 3 nights or more, parties of 4 or fewer, and anyone who needs a guaranteed space.
| Skip the airport garages if | Skip the off-site lots if |
|---|---|
| You are away 7 nights and can ride a 10-minute shuttle; the gap was $86.73 | You are away one or two nights and the shuttle wait outweighs the saving |
| You need a guaranteed space; the airport takes no reservations and garages can close at capacity | Your party is 5 or more at a lot that charges per extra rider, as Park By The Ports does at $10 beyond 4 |
| You want valet for a week: $210 curbside against $102.81 at the Marriott garage valet lot | You land after the lot's last hourly shuttle and have not confirmed a late pickup |
| You would rather pay a fixed all-in price than a ticket clock | You drive an RV, which Park By The Ports refuses, or want covered parking; only the Marriott lot is a garage |
