Great location! Tons and tons of food options in walking distance. The rooms are nice with a tv that you can watch from your bed. The free breakfast is a bonus and doesn't disappointed with great waffles! Always busy during breakfast making it hard to find a seat most days. They tend to be low on stock on there breakfast supply.

The pool is a decent size with a hot tub. All the staff were really nice to me. It's an older style hotel with old elevators that are kinda slow. One elevator was out of order unfortunately. The cards deactivate very easily! *Parking is $5 a day* If you need a roof over your head this is a good place.

After missing my flight to NYC and rebooking for a later one I chose to stay at SpringHill Suites for a few hours.

Upon entering the lobby I was greeted by Raquel. Her warm personality, kind spirit, and professional demeanor really put me at ease to have her help me out. Her service and get hospitality is one to model. She helped me with the keys to the room and scheduled my pickup for the shuttle to the airport after checking out. She's 10 out of 10!

Shout-out to housekeeping!! My room was clean.

The hotel is close to the airport; close to several eateries like Chipotle, Burger King, Panda Express, a steakhouse and another one I can't remember.

The free shuttle back to Fort Lauderdale airport was a blessing, too.

When I'm in the area I'll be staying at SpringHill Suites.

Thank you.

Another one of the Titans that host for the small kitchenette having studio based rooms. Lovely hotel that I stayed in for less than 2 days but felt as well I was there for more than 3 days because of all the memory is it allowed and rooms including gym and business room greatly look forward to staying in the hotel with brands same brand or platform.

The room was nice. There was no carpet so there were echoes, but on the upside the laminate flooring is more sanitary than carpet. The bedding was nice and there were plenty of towels. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were supplied. The hotel is being remodeled so there were a few things to contend with. The biggest complaint is the close proximity to I-95.

I am here as part of an Islamic program, and needless to say that sometimes being out and about in certain places, being seen in Islamic attire doesn’t allow people to receive you well. Nevertheless, you can’t make a blanket assumption. As I was waiting in the lobby, early enough before the time that they serve the continental breakfast, I was approached by Maria, one of the employees who was working to prepare the breakfast. She stopped and asked me if I was being helped, even though it wasn’t her department. I instantly recognized that as exceptional service. I ran into Maria again while going to eat breakfast, and she was busy attending to the tables, keeping them clean. She made it over to my table and we hand a nice and friendly discussion. I was impressed, and the overall service and accommodations were reflected in her service.

The room and public area upgrades are very nice. According to sign in hotel, renovations scheduled to be completed in November 2023.

Photos below show room/sofa before and after. Lighting in bathroom appears modified.

Hopefully the upgrades to the elevators and ice machines will be completed soon. Wasted time waiting for elevator and looking for working ice machine.

Hope waffle machine is brought back for breakfast.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times with friends and twice solo.

Was a little pricey for what you got but the bed was comfortable and there was enough room for us. Service counter was quick to get us checked in and the morning breakfast that was served was fairly decent. The only complaint about the breakfast is you have to get in there before 9 a.m.. they should really keep it open till at least 10 or 10:30am so people can sleep a little bit and not have to get up so early since the breakfast that comes with the pricing of the room.

Great treatment and service from the whole staff, like Natalia, Alexis, Darlene, Anita and Rue they really went above and beyond and we were really greatful for the attention that they had with us a group of 13 people between elders and 40's and my daughter that turned 15 during our visit. They really made our cruise trip excellent from the stay at the hotel to when we came back after disembarking the next weekend and to our last flight back home they really helped us through out our whole stay so we had the shuttle on time, we literally got our luggage called for the shuttle and we're at the hotel 20 minutes later and getting into at least one of our rooms at like 12:30pm and that's why I'm so grateful because my mom and everyone were really pleased we didn't have to wait to freshen up. We then at midnight received the last 5 people of our group my aunt and uncle my cousin and her two youngest children and could easily accommodate as the rooms are designed to accommodate 5 persons each but we could accommodate 6 in one and 7 in the other room. They have a shuttle that brings you up to the port for a little fee but we managed to get their. Next weekend when we got back from the cruise my aunt had her own room booked, but as we got really early the rooms were normally not ready but they could get all of our luggage inside their office area and we could at least go to the shops and went even to eat until the rooms were ready but didn't have to wait till 3pm either so it was great, the next day we had a late flight home so we could book one of our rooms at least until 8 pm so then we could take their free shuttle to the airport for our 10pm flight. So I'll definitely have the SpringHill Suites marked for my next stay as we always go with a big part of our family. Thank you again to all the staff and thank you Natalia for helping my mom and mother in law and my wife that only talk Spanish, and me as I talk English but am not that used to so it's some difficult to explain some things.

Very spacious room, with an kitchenette, sofa and two TVs. One in the living room area, and one for the bedroom area. A large lobby area with a good amount of seating. A nice pool area that we didn't get to try out because of the weather.

We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

My very first time in Ft. Lauderdale/ Miami and Sebastian welcomed me with great hospitality. He was very informational and caring. He knew I was alone and made sure I was ok. Not to mention he was nice on the eyes. I wish I could bring him to every hotel with me. Thank you for everything. You made it a great experience

My family of 9 stayed for 2 nights in July for a pre and post cruise.

We were very pleased with our rooms, the excellent breakfast and the clean condition of the facility.

However, the customer service provided by your associate Schmandy was exceptional. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, feedback and pleasant manner is the type of Leadership skill-sets that would make Schmandy an excellent Management employee. Your organization will be well served in utilizing her skill-sets in an upward position.

The hotel is located near FLL airport. Hotel has free shuttle service. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have fresh coffee all day and also cookies while checking in. They have free breakfast which is strictly average. Room is decent however bathroom needs an upgrade specially the bath tub.

It is also next to some fast food restaurants and close to Marina as well. Overall it was pleasant business stay. Good work.

Loved the room. Was big enough to accommodate 4 plus size people with two Queens and a sofa bed so me and my brother had enough room. Breakfast was good, with it being a regular breakfast rather than grab and go. Would stay again

Overall, this property is good, but, not great! The room was clean, EXCEPT for the extremely filthy a/c filters! I was greeted by a very personable and attentive front desk agent. He made me feel welcomed!

What I don't understand is the fact that, you're required to pay a nominal fee for parking, but yet, they have a bunch of signs in the parking lot that say, "User assumes all risks." Really? Then, what exactly is the parking fee for? 🤷 Not to mention the fact that, TRYING TO FIND a parking spot, can be very difficult!

I love the location, but, only because of the numerous stores, restaurants, entertainment, etc., within walking distance of the property. However, there are so many other properties, all, basically, clustered in the same area, that traffic is a nightmare, at times!

Overall, I recommend this property, especially, to tourists.

Very convenient location. Close to tons of food and shopping plazas. Complimentary breakfast, gym and pool. Staff is very professional. Be sure to try the near by Ocean One Bar and Grill. If you skip the hotel’s breakfast. Try First Watch which is also close by!

Very nice and courteous staff. The lobby was very pleasant and clean. The bed I had was very comfortable. The only bad thing I noticed was some of the furniture in the room (RM 605) needs to be replaced due to scratches. I will definitely stay here again.

Uber driver had issues locating the hotel. Stayed for the day only, so didn't use any of the amenities. Rooms are nice and spacious. Highly recommend requesting a different room if you are assigned the one right next to the elevator on the second floor. You'll hear every time the elevator is used, which also affected the electricity in the room itself. Also, seems like it was directly next to the laundry room, as that was heard too. We did use the airport shuttle which was swift and spacious. Additionally, there's an outlet nearby and many places to grab a bite to eat.

-Shuttle- Complimentary from the Airport, No Shuttle for the cruise port, but our Uber ride was about $24

-Location- So many restaurants close by! We arrived early in the morning from our cruise and weren’t able to check in (but they did store our luggage), so we walked around the shopping center, took a kid to urgent care right across the street, got food, and got another kid’s hair cut all within walking distance!

-Service- The front desk was extremely responsive and helpful for all of our requests!

-Room- So spacious! Perfect for our family of 5. There is a huge beautiful window to let light in, but also blackout shades that work great, they even thought to put a bench under the vanity in the bathroom, so you can sit while you get ready. We love the room!

-Breakfast- complimentary & excellent quality! Best eggs we’ve had since leaving home. They also had great quality shredded cheddar cheese. Delicious pancakes and sausage as well!

-Pool- Felt like a bath! I LOVED it! They also have a hot tub, but I didn’t feel the need to get in it because the pool was so comfortable.

I would absolutely stay here again and recommend anyone else to!

Oh also, they had water at the ice machine!!! So nice! Plus they gave us chips and cookies and water bottles because we are gold members.

Thank you!!

This hotel was great to stay at, aside from one of the two main lobby elevators not functioning, but they had it repaired halfway through our stay. The rooms were spacious and well-decorated. The hotel location was close to the airport with a free shuttle ride which was great. There are quite a bit of restaurants nearby, to which you can choose more fast food style, or fine dining. I would love to stay here again when I come back to Fort Lauderdale!

This hotel is in a great spot for shopping, walking, and then going on a cruise. It's located like 10 min from parking at port everglades and it's easy to get there. There folks working there were very nice and the food spread was solid as well. The rooms were very nice but a couple things looked like they were recently fixed or renovated but need it again. They weren't deal breakers and hoping to stay here again

Rooms were very clean & spacious (bathrooms could use a slight update). The service was amazing, extra (bath/pool) towels when needed, waters or mimosas here and there, good free breakfast selection, computers/gym available, nice pool/hot tub area w/ plenty of seating. Nearby stores, shopping, dining options, activities if you know where to look within walking distance.

After living 81 years and traveling to all states, some many times,, and visiting 83 foreign countries I have met the worst hotel of my life. Springhill Suite’s in Ft Lauderdale Florida. We called the desk several times about no heat in our room and no one told us the room had no heat in our room. Meanwhile a while we kept adjusting thermostat and getter cold of air. After a visit t downstairs we turned the thermostat off.

TV remote did not work and it took an hour to get a new one while we wanted to watch Carolina- Duke basketball

The telephone had so much static you could barely hear the desk. I called the desk 9 Times in a row only one of b put

On hold repeatedly. With that many calls it should have occurred to them that somebody needed to listen.

Medical emergency?

Tomorrow morning they will adjust the rate by 50% or I will stop payment on my credit edit card.

BEWARE!

We stayed here the night before a cruise. While it didn't affect us, the other people waiting with us for the hotel shuttle at the airport had been waiting for an hour for the hotel shuttle to arrive. I have no idea what the hold up was but they were pretty mad when it finally arrived.

Our room was clean and appeared to be freshly painted. However the ceiling fan was old and rusted through. The rusty old ceiling fan was made more noticeable by being surrounded by all the new paint and other stuff. There was no fresh fruit for breakfast other than bananas. The rest of the breakfast buffet was fine, but I would have preferred bacon to the turkey sausage. Anyway, that's why only 4 stars on room and service. Better shuttle service and new ceiling fans are needed. The location is great for a cruise hotel and there are places to eat dinner within walking distance. Would probably stay there again.

Stayed overnight with family as we were leaving on a cruise. Rooms were spacious but the beds were much too firm for my liking. Breakfast was packed on a Sunday morning as cruisers were getting ready to leave. A little chaotic getting on the transportation to take us to the port, but overall a good stay only minutes away.

The room was very clean, plenty of towels, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave was very clean.

The complementary breakfast was the best. The ladies responsible for breakfast were awesome how they kept the food flowing. Loved how weird the trees are in front and around hotel. The landscaping is very nice. Best of is all the stores and restaurants, fast food places within walking distace.

Front desk staff were amazing and made me feel very welcomed. Thank you to Anita.

Breakfast was great especially the ladies that handled it. I think it was Maria ? And someone else.

Waffles, turkey sausage, omelets were yummy and tasty.

Room was clean

I definitely recommend this hotel if you are ever in town.

9 mins from airport. Complimentary shuttle driver that actually waits for everyone.

Good hotel overall. Rooms and free breakfast buffet are typical for Springhill. Plenty of options and rooms are spacious but nothing fancy. Location is good, short 10 minute ride share to Hollywood Beach boardwalk or the FLL airport. There is also a free shuttle that comes around about every 20 minutes to and from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful, good choice if you're looking for something near the airport before or after your cruise.

This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location near shops, restaurants and most importantly the airport! The rooms are huge and clean! Service is fantastic. Very kind staff.

The bed is cozy, the rooms are updated, the bathroom is comfortable with a modern shower. The oddest thing was there was no hand soap in the bathroom but other than that it was great.

There are snacks and drinks to buy in the lobby too! Plenty of parking. I would return for sure!

Marriott perks are also a very solid!

Dated but perfectly OK. The pool is popular, the elevators are showing some wear and do not have key locks, the building is right by the highway (I-95), no restaurant, but a Burger King and panda express next door (fancier food a little farther). The parking lot warns guests that they are on their own when it comes to car security, always a reassuring thing to see... also parking lot was very crowded. The "kitchen" in the suite was a microwave, a small cube fridge, and a sink, with a single shot coffee maker with two pods provided. The lobby shop had some food and some beverages but were almost out of everything on a Saturday night. Halls smelled nice and sinks and shower/tub were clean. No bedbugs, thank goodness; we've heard they are a widespread problem but not in this place. A/C was delightful! Did not try the breakfast - late flight in so we needed sleep more.

We chose Marriott because they're the best. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the cruise terminal and airport. Overall, great experience, especially the staff but the room left something to be desired.

Compliment sandwich:

1. The staff are all amazing. Between the check-in being super smooth and friendly, the shuttle driver not killing other drivers despite their stupidity, and the breakfast staff being awesomely accommodating, people were great. Shout out to the breakfast team for having Udi's GF gluten free muffins single-packed and ready in the freezer. It's also really close to a bunch of restaurants and stores in walking distance if you're willing to risk death crossing a HUGE highway road.

2. The rooms are kinda meh. The hotel has a perfumey smell that you get used to quickly but it's clearly covering up the dampness. The AC condensated onto the floor leaving a little puddle of cold water that really wakes you up when you're going to pee in the middle of the night. On the plus side, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot. Didn't use the pool or gym. I'll add, and this isn't their fault, there is a LOT of road noise and nightlife noise that you can hear despite the windows being closed and AC being on.

3. The shuttle and location were perfect for our needs. We were leaving for a cruise the next day and needed to return a car since we drove down from Orlando (PS what a boring drive!). I dropped the car off at the airport, crossed the tunnel to the main terminal 1 and walked 5 minutes to the shuttle pick up at E. During that time, I called and asked them to send the shuttle. It arrived in about 15 minutes and after 3 quick pickups and 10 more minutes of back roads, we were back. Great service, safe driver.

All in all, I liked this place and while I wouldn't want to stay a week, it was perfect for the layover.

This is a good value hotel. They have large rooms with a living room space separate from the bedroom. Wifi is good. There's a nice swimming pool (with free towels at front desk). It's close to airport and highway which was handy to get around. Front desk was very nice and professional. The breakfast is a simple buffet with some hot items, cereals, breads, muffins, etc and can get very busy so go early.

The only thing I thought was an issue was the free shuttle. It took a very long time.

Overall it was a good stay and experience. Nothing fancy and good value.

My favorite parts of this hotel were the pool, free hot breakfast, and the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle is a very nice perk!! The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. They

have a little store which is helpful when you forget essentials. I forgot 2 things and they had both of them:) The only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom. It is in need of renovations. There is zero counter space to put your essentials for getting ready and even the toilet top is curved and stuff falls off when u try to use that. The lighting isn't great, there are no shelves in the shower, and the shower head is about 5'8" with a tiny stream of water. All this makes it very difficult to get ready.

We stayed twice during our Cruise this past Feb/March. This was overall our 3rd time staying at this hotel and we enjoyed each time we have stayed. The staff is always so friendly. So, if you have a cruise I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!!!

The staff there was incredibly friendly and helpful the hotel is very nice in appearance however the gym and the swimming pool is a little small the continental breakfast is very good the Suites are not bad however I could smell a mildew odor coming from the carpeting and our Rome it wasn't very strong but it was noticeable it could have been because the refrigerator leaked in our room and it would not get very cold But the rooms were very clean I must be honest I did not notify the hotel staff about the leaking barely working refrigerator I just thought it wasn't really a big deal I should have said something about the smell on the carpeting though but I didn't so that's my fault I would definitely stay there again the location was perfect you are right in the middle of everything you needed to do and most we're within walking distance plenty of great shopping and fantastic Foods I love the area you should give it a try

The room/hotel is on the older side and it shows. The room is still comfortable. Room has a small frig, tv, king size bed, the bathroom has a separate area for shower/toilet from sink which is nice. The breakfast was ok but things were running out since we were arriving later, closer to closing. When we checked in we received bottled water and homemade chocolate chip cookies. One downside was the A/C unit in the room was noisy. Sounded like chirping birds but it worked so we were kept cool. The location is great for those that stay the day before a cruise. Very close to Port Everglades, shopping, restaurants and all within walking distance. I would stay here again.

We stayed here d/t being one of the hotels that SAS transportation services for Port of Miami. Hotel is lovely. Room was super clean and nice. Luxury vinyl flooring made room a little “echoey” but liked that it’s cleaner than carpet. Room had a microwave, sink and fridge. Breakfast was good and well Maintained during service hours. Complimentary mimosas in the morning. We will definitely stay again.

As a hotel,, most important thing is very comfy rooms. Great Service at desk. Those incredible MARRIOTT beds. Fully supplied bath; lots of big fluffy towels. Handy to AP, handy to port.

Close - walking distance - to restaurants & shopping (for last minute) items.

You can't go wrong here.

The location is amazing. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself was par to other Springhill hotels. Breakfast was nice. Only complaint was the strange smell in the hallways and main entry. Almost smelled like they were trying to over cover the smell of an old building. Staff were great though- very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Special shout out to our airport transfer driver who was a Jamaican man and so so fun and kind! I hate that I didn't get his name to give him credit.

The staff really makes this place great! Yeah, it’s a little outdated but everything is nice and clean. Plus it looks like there’s a remodel in progress. Pool area was way nicer than we expected too. The staff really is wonderful though! This is a great spot for before/after a flight or cruise!

Pleasantly surprised. I was worried about our stay, due to quite a few bad reviews, but we had a great stay. Well located to the airport (with free shuttle) and cruise terminal. Service was good, only negative was we couldn't get through to the hotel at 9:30pm for the airport shuttle and had to go through the marriot main reservations line - this was nerve wrecking as foreign travellers, and the phone line should remain connected for people to organise shuttles. It took about 30 minutes to arrive. It was also difficult to find the meeting point, it would be helpful to have a map or some basic information on the website.

Recently renovated rooms are very nice, clean, with a few modern touches (bathroom could use an update, but it is perfectly fine). Large room with kitchenette and sofa. Appreciated they offered bottles of water upon check in.

Really appreciated the guest laundry on floor 6, which is $2 for a wash and $1.50 for the dryer - a pleasant surprise, after travelling for a week, great to get some laundry done.

Free breakfast was adequate, and very well stocked with condiments. Basic hot options, cereal, bread, bagels, muffins, pancakes and coffee, tea and juice. Nothing fancy, but a good basic breakfast. They coped very well, considering there were 7 bus loads of people leaving between 6am and 7am.

Would stay again, don't be deterred by bad reviews.

The location is very close to the airport, which was great. The front desk service staff was wonderful, and they allowed us to check in a few hours early, which was also great considering we had just come from a 7-Day cruise and were exhausted! Our room was a nice suite with 2 queen size beds. It was $224 for the night. The suite was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean. I did not get to try the breakfast since my flight was at 6:00 in the morning, but if I'm ever in Fort Lauderdale again, I will definitely choose this hotel for my stay near the airport!
