11/28/23– Stayed here for a night . It an hour drive from airport. Check in was smooth . We had room #316 a few steps from the elevator . Good size bathroom . We had partial view to the pool. Refri and coffee maker . Twin beds . If you spouse snores good chance it won’t sound to close . Big beds too .
We took our bag to the check in area to hold until we come back from breakfast . There is a cruise port transport . Nice fish tank . Those fishes there have carácter. Their customer service was excellent. We paid at the hotel to have transfer to the cruise port . Full bus . We paid $20 per person , reasonable price and it saved us a hassle .

We had our Quarterly meeting at the conference yesterday. And we are very happy with the excellent service provided by the Event Specialist Carolina Perez for her flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Also, Fritz from the onsite team also provided excellent service to assist us before and during our event.
Parking space is sufficient. Location is good. Highly recommended for conference meeting.

Good convenient place for a pre or post cruise stay. Quick pickup by the free shuttle bus at FLL. Good sized and clean room. Comfortable beds.
Note that there is a train track is next to the hotel. A light sleeper may sense the train passing through in early morning. Also there are not many good restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed here on an overnight in between planes. The good: the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. And that is pretty much all you need. Any issues? Well, we waited over an hour for the hotel shuttle from the airport. When it didn't arrive, we ended up taking a taxi. The hotel advertised a bistro. There are three selections and all are pre packaged microwaved food. We were starving and ate what was put in front of us. Three burgers with chips, one beer and one glass of wine with a tip was.over $80US. It was a pre packaged microwaved burger. Oh well. The morning shuttle worked and the driver was helpful.

I was just here for a quick overnight, so my opinion and experience is limited to that.
As soon as I walked through the front door Augusto welcomed me and made me feel at home. He was able to check me in fast and efficiently, without taking too much time so I can rest as it was approaching midnight.
He let me know some of the hotel amenities such as a gym, pool, a-la-carte breakfast option, etc.
I really liked that there was a free shuttle to the airport. This is conveniently located near the airport and cruise port. They partner with a third-party to offer shuttle service to the cruise port for $25/person and you can sign up at the front desk when checking in. There were 3 shuttle times to accommodate the guests.
The room was clean and well appointed. While walking from the elevator to my room on floor 4 or 5, there was a very noisy vent in the hallway, but once I was in my room I didn't hear it at all.
For full disclosure, I was traveling for business. I work in the travel industry and may have received a discount compared to the normal rate. This does not change or influence my review and it is my own personal opinion.
I would not hesitate to come back and I look forward to see Augusto.

JENNIFER at the front desk was AMAZING AMAZING... We rolled in there and she was getting hit hard because of the Miami Port accident. Which we were part of. She was handling the phone, computer, and people standing in front of her. Talk about multi-tasking..I ordered her a pizza. The staff there was very nice and helpful.. We took walks around the grounds which were also beautiful... highly recommend this hotel. You made the unfortunate situation into a memorable time.

Did a park and fly package where we stayed the night before our trip, had a shuttle to the airport, and were able to park our car while gone. The staff member (wish I had caught her name) who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, slightly dated, but comfortable and quiet. The shuttle to the airport was on time and service was helpful. We weren't sure how to get the shuttle back after our trip (but I also didn't think to ask beforehand) and we were on a time crunch, so we just took a taxi back. The location is convenient to FLL airport and the cruise port as well. Would stay again.

Nice, typical Courtyard. Very busy with airline & cruise passenger traffic. Expect longer wait times for elevators, check in/out. Courteous and helpful staff. Room comes with mini fridge. Hotel has snack bar and small bistro. If you're looking for a quiet stay, this hotel is quiet but busy; expect occasional noise from guests.

Mixed emotions here. Room was fine which is really important, but disappointed in that I couldn't even get hot water in the morning to make tea. Food options were basically none except mostly junk near the front desk.

The Bistro was an added bonus so that we good grab dinner upon our late arrival. Bistro provided exceptional service. Front Desk staff provided exceptional service. Will select this hotel again if back in the area.

The hotel was very clean the staff was pleasant nothing short of what I expected from Marriott also the catcher was I was allowed to park my vehicle there while I went on a trip to Puerto Rico for four days and they provided me with a shuttle service so it’s a win-win I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s leaving town for a few days and trying to avoid paying for airport parking

Gym looked good and water provided there.
Can order Uber eats to room but there is small connivence area to buy essentials if needed.

Courtyard Marriott is a Hidden Gem I have an awesome view of a lake right outside my window and I can also see the guitar shaped Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. The thing I really enjoy about this view the sunsets right down the middle line of my window. If I could move here I certainly would the train station is right next to the property I can get anywhere from here. Staff super friendly very helpful I love this place! Outdoor World is walking distance the seafood restaurant is very pleasant great place to get some tacos and catch up with friends before check out the fish in the middle of the shopping complex

I am A FOM for marriott so I am very critical of the front desk. But honestly I was extremely impressed with the team there. They are amazing. I had the best conversations at the front desk. They really made me feel comfortable. Please look up the young lady that checked me in. She was extremely professional. I will be staying here more often. 😀

Great spot and nice hotel digs. Lots of restaurants for food choices nearby! My one complaint so far is that there is now a charge for parking which is ludicrous at the amount I paid for this room. It’s not like there’s other parking options nearby 😒. Also, this nonsense about not cleaning the rooms due to the pandemic unless requested is counterintuitive and counterproductive to preventing the spread of any virus/bacteria.

I typically do not stay in a Courtyard because I prefer the complimentary breakfast. But this Courtyard was perfect. When I called and spoke with someone in Customer Service for shuttle service, I was told they operate 24 hours. Unfortunately, that was not the case. And our flight was delayed. However, the shuttle driver was kind enough to still accommodate us. The room was very nice. The hotel location was extremely convenient to the Tri-Rail. If I have to come to this area again, I would not mind staying at the Courtyard at all. Thanks!

Stayed 1 night due to flight changes. A couple minutes away from Fort Lauderdale Airport. Pool was nice and warm, and there's an esthetically pleasing courtyard. Staff was kind and courteous. Room & bathroom were spacious & very clean.

I needed a hotel for one night, 1/10/23 before a cruise from Port Everglades and chose the Courtyard by Marriott Ft Lauderdale. I flew down from Boston. I was a bit anxious, not knowing the area well, and I was alone -planning to meet my friends at the cruise port the following day. I was picked up by the hotel shuttle and brought to the hotel. From the moment I checked in - the woman behind the counter, extremely nice and welcoming to a short time later - when I decided to eat dinner in the lobby dining area - every staff person I encountered was kind, professional, attentive and fun. The next morning, the man behind the desk -who also worked the snack bar area was kind, professional... The room was decent and clean - something I would expect at a Marriott, but this hotel gets a 5-star rating because of the staff. I work as an RN in the Boston area and life has been rough over the last few years... travel has become more difficult with flights being cancelled along with worries about covid - it was really refreshing to feel so comfortable in a place foreign to me. Management, I wish I had written down names, please value this group of people, you are LUCKY to have them!!!

My family and I missed a connection flight on our way home from visiting family. Things can get busy and complicated traveling through Florida and I had work waiting for me at home. When we found out we missed our flight the standard mix of anger and anxiety kicked it. I did a quick search and saw the 3 star rating online. We were lucky enough to book a room for the night with two queen beds. The place was easy to access and from the moment we arrived we were greeted with positivity and support. In the morning I was able to get some emails and phone calls done with space and without waking anyone up. The whole experience won me over. We will visit again and I highly recommend the Courtyard Fort Lauderdale.

This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down.
What a steal for this hotel. Price was great for what you got. Rooms were large, clean and bountiful. Hot tub and pool were available. Decor was very Chic and my son loved the fish tank. Staff was friendly. Train station nearby, so the coast was my friend.

We had a great stay on my way to our Caribbean cruise. The customer service and food was good. Rachel made sure that all our needs were met.
A week after I returned from my cruise I realized that
I forgot my leather jacket for a week at the hotel. I returned after a week and Maureen searched for and found my Jacket in Lost & Found. She went above a beyond to find my jacket and it is thoroughly appreciated. I received exceptional customer service from her and everyone that I encountered.

I had a king bed and it was VERY comfortable!
My room was #428, which was on the highway-facing side of the building, so I had to crank up the AC in order to not be awakened by traffic noise. I think if my room was on the odd-numbered side it might have been quieter, but I cannot say that for certain.
Overall, though, it was a good stay.

Hotel has decent bones, starting to show a lot of wear but the staff makes up for it. Very friendly, willing to help and always with a smile. You should expect standard courtyard stuff here, nothing crazy fancy. I appreciated the courtyard where you can sit in shade if you want, as well as the large pool and covered hottub. Fast shuttle service back to the airport, left on time. If you need a quick overnight before catching a flight that’s easy on the wallet, this is your place.

The hotel was clean. Rooms immaculate- 5 stars. Staff was friendly. Parking was tight and limited. I have to admit the $5 parking fee was a little odd.
The reason the hotel received 4 stars is because the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The beds would be considered extra firm and did not have a pillow top. This was surprising as this feature is pretty standard. The bed was like sleeping on plywood. I didn't sleep all night and was in pain the next day.
So overall this hotel rocks in the cleanliness and fails in comfort.

Stayed here in June for a cruise. Rooms were very clean and modern, staff was very friendly and willing to help us with anything our flights were delayed and we got there very late at night and the shuttle was great and very quick. Only minus was that breakfast was not free and was very pricey, it was normal breakfast items for 15-20 dollars a plate, there also is a Starbucks there. Overall would recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was just one night, but the staff were very friendly and helped answer our questions about where to eat locally and about the shuttle service to the port.
The room was plenty big and very clean. The beds were comfortable.
The breakfast is not included, but was pretty good and the price wasn't bad, about what you would expect from a hotel. The coffee was great!
They offer shuttle pickup from the airport to the hotel. If you are doing a cruise, they can get ypu to your port. You can also use them to go from the port to the airport when you get back from your cruise. Definitely worth it! Not free, but very inexpensive. Great service!

The Marriott Courtyard near FLL is relatively newly appointed. For example, you can roll your 4 wheel suitcase pretty easily down the hall on the newer carpet as long as you don't put the handle up too high.
The breakfast food in the lobby bistro is pretty good, though if I'm being picky, I'd say the napkins are really chintzy!
The desk clerks were great. We rolled up, checked in, gave them our bags to hold, and rolled out again to our late night dinner reservation and it only took 5 to 10 minutes.

Pleasantly surprised! The staff was great (both the front desk and the breakfast team). The room was slightly dated but clean and comfortable. There were a number of people about to go on a cruise, so there was some excitement in the other guests which was fun. The hotel is between a train station and the interstate so there isn't a better side - but on the weekend the train didn't run as often so we weren't disturbed at all. This will be our go-to hotel for cruising since it's close to the port and close to I95.

Great nights sleep. Hectic place, staff does best they can. Great system to move mass amounts of people to and from cruise Port. We had a mishap on return at Port, called hotel they sent a shuttle driver that went the extra to locate us and take us to the airport. For-purchase food with Starbucks coffee, good staff but long wait time. It's a hectic and convenient hotel option. I HIGHLY recommend them, just set your expectations!!!!
