Cleveland Hopkins has five color-coded parking lots plus valet, all within a few minutes of one terminal. On-site rates range from $16/day (Brown Lot with shuttle) to $30/day (Curbside Valet). Off-site lots start around $5-$10/day. CLE raised rates across every lot on January 1, 2024 - the Smart Garage went from $20 to $23, and every surface lot went up $1-$2.
CLE is a single-terminal airport, so there is no terminal-routing decision like JFK or ATL. The parking decision here is simpler: how close do you want to be, and how much are you willing to pay for that convenience? The Smart Garage and Red/Blue Lots are walkable to the terminal. The Orange Lot connects via a covered skywalk. The Brown Lot requires a shuttle. Off-site lots require their own shuttles.
Quick decision: Short trip (1-2 days) -> Smart Garage or Red/Blue Lot for walk-in access. 3+ days -> Orange Lot ($18/day) or Brown Lot ($16/day) for savings. 5+ days -> off-site at $5-$10/day or the RTA Red Line.

The Orange Lot is the sleeper pick. It is typically cheaper than Red/Blue and still gives weather-protected terminal access through the connector path.

For a 7-day trip, off-site at $5/day saves materially versus any on-site lot. The tradeoff is shuttle variability and added transfer time.
CLE is a single-terminal airport. Every lot serves the same terminal, so the only real variables are distance, price, and transfer mode (walk, covered connector, or shuttle).
Cell Phone Lot is off SR 237 (Jackson Road). The secondary lot behind the Sheraton closed on January 2, 2024.
