This airport is easy to navigate and has dining and lounge options.

Security did not take too long and overall people were very helpful and friendly.

I would definitely recommend getting to the airport at a reasonable time to avoid having to rush.

Overall, I enjoyed Cleveland Hopkins Airport, it's small and easy for travel.

September 2022 - COVID is almost gone, and life is back to near normal at the airport. TSA is back to its annoying self, so things must be normal :)

Update October 2021 - The Rental car shuttle pickup and drop off has been changed. Go to baggage claim area 1 and follow the signs to outside to the Bus. Drop off and pickup are the same - they are beside each other. All rental companies use the same bus. *******Previous Review - Off site Car Rental Terminal. Allow +45min for the bus / rental Terminal access. There are gas stations when returning the car. Follow the signs for check-in area, there are easy access elevators. Weather and traffic compounds the time required between the airport and Car Rental Terminal.

A bus ride to an off site rental car center is required- you will take the bus from baggage claim area. Look at the photos to locate the exit - from Baggage Claim level. Jan 2022 Update - Airport traffic has picked up significantly from the past year - suggest that you allow extra time.

July 2023... weather is great; rental car center seems to have found all their busses; TSA COVID cages are gone; all the restaurants seem open - what more can you ask for...

I recently visited the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and I was really impressed. The artwork was especially noteworthy - it really added to the atmosphere. The airport was quite busy, but the security staff were very polite and efficient. The restrooms were also very clean. All in all, I had a great experience at this airport. Highly recommended!

Cleveland Rocks! And the airport loves to display this in an artistic way throughout the concourse. For an International Airport it's not too big or overwhelming. Pretty easy to drop off or pick up as long as it's not crazy busy. If the traffic is jammed then do the pickup all the way down at gate 7 where it's usually empty. Cell phone lot is convenient but there are no bathrooms if you're waiting. For travelers plenty of food and drink options inside, and if you're from out of town I would recommend the local Great Lakes Brewery beer.

Small compared to other airports. Good wise not so good. Had a pizza was okay. Was stuck here for 8hrs nothing cool to see besides being on phone and walking back and forth.

The staff at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport was phenomenal! Especially a gentleman that works there who saw a need and without hesitation offered to help us. I was dropping my mom and luggage off at Southwest Airlines departures. I planned to leave her there while returning the rental car and then take luggage in. He made what is usually a laborious task, convenient and efficient! We are truly appreciative and grateful! I was unable to get his name but hope this reaches him! The Cleveland Southwest staff was also very helpful!

Beautiful airport. Even when there's one tsa open and the line comes out to the entrance this airport has their stuff together, and you fly right through it. Everytime I'm late and I think I won't make it I do. Thank you CLE International Airport, for doing an amazing job!!!

It's a great airport. It's big enough for all the flights but you don't need to take a bus or train to get to your terminal.

Restaurants are good and there are places to grab last minute items you might have forgotten.

Just don't expect to grab anything if arrive after a late day flight. Most of the concourse closes around 10.

Update: still awesome.

Like others have stated, it's fairly worn down inside and in need of some help. Concourse C is pretty nice and looks updated recently, but concourses A, B, and the TSA areas could use quite a bit of cleaning. On the plus side, it's small enough to easily find your gate and a snack while you wait on your flight. I frequent Detroit Metro and its much nicer in nearly every aspect.

CLE is a medium-sized airport that is easy to navigate and convenient to use. The security lines were a little long but relatively fast. You can easily walk the length of all the terminals in about 10-15 minutes. There are adequate restrooms and places to find food.

The only concern/advice I have regards airport parking... When I arrived, earlier today (a Friday afternoon), the long-term and medium-term lots were full; only premium & "smart" ($20/day) parking was available. If you will be leaving a car there for a few days or more, make sure you consider this and plan accordingly.

The airport is fairly big, neat, old-fashioned, easily accessible and not too busy. Their workers are friendly and respectful, and clearing through security was not hectic.

The airport has improved significantly over the years, as opposed to years ago when I would fly out of here. For example, they added a variety of new food options, and also security checkpoints have been more efficient the last few times I flew out of here. All I can say now is, keep improving and don't start backsliding.

Surprised my experience was not as bad as I expected. Traffic flowed easily, and the whole process of picking up and dropping off my siblings went easily and smooth. Cleveland Hopkins Airport was definitely on point and I appreciate the experience. I'll certainly be traveling through and patronizing at this location

I was just going to pick up family. The place seems to be very clean. I have never had a problem at this airport. We're at the airport at least 8 times a year. We have been looking into getting the tsa check or the clear program for our family. To help us get in and out of security a little quicker. I could not believe the problems that were happening with people fighting. I love to travel but I'm always glad to come home. I Love Cleveland !!!

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is small and easy to get around.

United has direct flights from Washington DC and it's nice to be able to fly back to Cleveland in under an hour.

If you have TSA pre check and clear you can get through security in about 5 to 10 minutes.

They also have a lounge called the Club CLE for priority pass members right near the TSA pre check exit area.

I enjoyed Cleveland Hopkins Airport because it's small and easy to travel in and out of.

This airport is easy to navigate and has all the staple dining options. Security did not take too long and overall people were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend getting to the airport at a reasonable time to avoid having to rush. Overall you should have a good experience in this airport which is important because no one wants to be stressed before getting on a flight.

Nice small airport. You need to show up early for your flight because it gets full and the lines for tsa are very long so you need to be on time so you don't have to rush. Tsa opens at around 4am. Decent restaurants.

Never crazy busy, I mean it's Cleveland. Best in the early morning, most vendors open before or around 6. Mid-day gets messy since most gates are small and planes these days are not. But it's an airport, what do you expect, it's moderately clean, sometimes friendly, and laid out as best and midsized airport can be.

It’s a perfectly “fine” airport. Lots of places to get food and it’s modern and clean. Rental car pick up drop off is kind of a pain. You have to take a shuttle to the rental car hub that’s about a mile away. Make sure to factor in at least an extra 30 minutes to account for that.

We live in Toledo, which is 2 hours away. Cleveland Hopkins is always a airport I recommend for flights especially if you fly Frontier airlines or Spirit airlines. The airport is now been renovated. The parking shuttle brown is a lot closer now at the airport. Better situation now.

Cleveland's airport is very easy to navigate. There are plenty of places to eat in the airport and several transportation options available from rental cars, taxis, ride share services and, my personal favorite, the rapid system (RTA).

You can catch the rapid from the airport and be in downtown Cleveland or beyond in minutes. It's convenient and economical.

Best airport!! everyone working here is incredibly kind and patient, the food options are good, and check in/ security usually takes ~40 min. Love the green roof, cpr trainers, and plentiful seating/ wall outlets/ water bottle filling stations.

From what I've seen, this is not a very luxurious airport.

It's just a basic airport where planes land and take off.

I've had good experiences with some of the staff who work here.

Manageable and clean and good airport with all you need for comforts and necessities before and after flights. Bathrooms are easily found and modern food places including WOW BAO bun place nearby gates. Modern charging stations and comfortable seats. Even Cleveland Ts for sale at a vending machine for some Cleveland pride. Only thing is the bathrooms have touch paper towel dispensers instead of no touch so I didn’t like that part having to deal w other people’s hand germs to get paper towel.

A well maintained and clean airport that is fairly expansive, but still maintains a smaller feel. This is a historical airport that also offers modern amenities and ease of access. Everything on my visit was smooth, from check in to security and boarding the airplane. Their are plenty of stores to shop at and restaurants to eat at and gate seating space is plenty. There are plenty of ground transportation options available as well.

Cleveland Airport, while considered medium-sized, offers a relatively efficient and hassle-free travel experience. One of its notable features is the quick-moving security lane, which makes the check-in process smoother and less time-consuming.

Travelers passing through Cleveland Airport can generally expect a straightforward and efficient experience, with shorter waiting times compared to larger airports.

In summary, Cleveland Airport's medium size and quick security lane contribute to a convenient and relatively stress-free airport experience for travelers.

So airport is fine a little confusing on how to get around. We figure it out lol. Also I know it's the airport but $21 for a stuffed animal a tiny one. Like cut it out lol. Had to find an outlet to charge my phone at the gate they have more places for you to charge your phone not at the gate/ gate seating area. Things were explained by the airline we choose very well. Was clean enough for sure dated at this airport just a little. People were super nice though. Also helpful.

This school teacher is enjoying her first flight post-Covid. Not only does the airport have wireless charging pads in the armrest at the terminals, but also the Delta Baggage Claim concierge, NADINE, quickly grabbed my luggage for me as I got sidetracked at the fancy bathrooms. Also, another Delta Queen gave me a quick interview about being a flight attendant to show my kids at school and allowed me to take her photo. I highly recommend Delta Airlines and flying from Cleveland. You won't be stressed out at all and that means EVERYTHING to me.
