Holiday Inn Express SFO

Fresh breakfast, clean room and it's in quite place. I don't like the fact that shuttle doesn't run 24 hrs. Overall pleasant experience.

Walking distance to the Hollywood walk of Fame and the Hollywood museum. Clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Veronica in the breakfast area was friendly and helpful. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful as we arrived early. The valet for parking helped us out we arrived with a flat tire and was very helpful in directing us for getting it repaired.

If we ever come back we'll stay here again.

Decent breakfast with good hot food options and the scrambled eggs were actually pretty good, front desk was friendly and they let us check in 2 hours early without a charge. There's fridge and microwave in the room which is nice beds and pillows are quite comfy. Wi-Fi can't be spotty and one evening it was down for about an hour and we couldn't connect front desk says that happens sometimes! it is about a 20 to 30 minute Uber ride into the main tourist area of San Francisco there is a Dunkin donuts and Popeyes walking distance

Nice place friendly people rooms are kept clean new my bed was comfortable easy access in and out right out the freeway 101.

Upon check in, I was taken care of early. She was very nice, I didn’t catch her name which I wish I had, but super sweet and always had a smile on her face! Our TV in our room was having connection issues and she immediately sent a tech to repair it for us. They fixed it in 5 minutes and we were able to enjoy our TV. Overall, this is a comfy hotel to stay at! Right next to McDonald’s so u always have a food option no matter the time of day. As a premier IHG rewards member this is the kind of property I want to stay at. Excellent customer service upon check in, with a clean room and pleasant staff! I give this place a 10/10 and I would definitely return! To the lady at the front desk, I appreciate you making me feel welcome from the minute I arrived! Very disappointed with all of the charges please share the total amount of parking upfront instead of say that it's $15.99 and it's not included tax. And all the other charges that is added prices are so different after you check out. .

Maintained well for an older hotel. The front desk looks was user friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were good, too.

Watch out for the convenience shop-several of the food items had expired. But McDonald’s is right next store for a late night treat!

I was satisfied with my room. Because it's so close to the highway, I thought it would be loud, but it wasn't. The room was put together each morning and the staff was very friendly. There's a decent breakfast there as well, for free included with your room. this Holiday inn Express does not have a restaurant/bar if you want that go to the other one down the road.

The location is just perfect! The employees are very friendly, and you will immediately feel their attention to the utmost guest satisfaction, even the room design is simple yet elegant. Also, the food in the morning buffet served all my favorite dishes! I highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.

Fast, friendly, clean. Perfect for a night before an early flight. Due to COVID breakfast was a bit limited but still adequate. Clearly doing their best.

Reasonable rate. Booked the same day as needed which was very convenient. Clean modern lobby. Room was clean and modern with a fridge and microwave. Perfect for our quick stay and only minutes drive to the airport.

Nice people, clean room... Can't wait until all amenities are restored.

Update: back here in San Francisco and at the Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was good, thank you. Hot tub and fitness area look open now. I did not have a chance to use but maybe next time. Clean room, bed was comfy and Internet was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is the second stay and where I will stay when I'm in town for work. Thank you.

Nice place, spacious room. Lots of selections for breakfast and clean/neat place to eat. WiFi somehow has a few unstable periods. They also have a fair fitness center and whirlpool. The place is convenient to SF airport and in reasonable distance from travel destinations and dining/shopping locations.

I went with some friends over President's Day Weekend and we got two rooms. We had a great stay there. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were great, and the customer service was wonderful. The elevator was really nice, especially because one of my friends was in a wheelchair. The staff was more than accommodating. We put a "do not disturb" on our doors so I can't speak for the cleaning service, but when we got there the rooms were clean.



Minor issues: There weren't liners in the trash cans and we weren't sure how to change the temperature of the room. So one night my friends slept in a cold room. We called maintenance and apparently you just had to open a latch on the radiator. It might be nice to have that mentioned either at the front desk or in the room. The view we had was just of a concrete structure, but it didn't bother us. We were there to explore San Francisco, not sight-see from our bedrooms.



Some downsides: We got 3 keycards for each room and at least 2 of them didn't work. We got new ones but some of them still didn't work. In the room we stayed at, the door would lock but it was finicky about opening, even with a key card that worked. It was nice that they had a hot tub, but when we turned the jets on it got super sudsy (maybe over chlorinated?).



Overall, highly recommend. A hotel chain you can trust, is reasonably priced, and is close to major attractions in San Francisco.

Great Hotel loved staying here super clean, price is right, free breakfast and I found the management to be flexible to help you..very close to the hotel and the shuttle runs every 30 mins and always on time. I recommend this hotel for a great stay..

Good hotel but the water faucet for the bathroom sink doesn't provide enough water to wash your hands or wet down your hair.

Comfortable bed. Heating / ac is not an exact temperature setting. Wish it was but I guessed correctly luckily and slept well.

Friendly staff, bubbly hot tub. Comfy bed too.

I was working at united, this location is very close to there. Paying for parking was understandable given the closeness to the airport, however it was not appreciated, just another B.S. fee. there is shopping and restaurants just across the freeway on Camino Real. the desk clerk was pleasant.

Checked in really late at night and had good service and night cleark was helpful with suggestions on where and what to see while on vacation all though they leave a bottle of water in the room next to the coffee machine with no tag or price on it then they charge you $3.50 for that water on your bill so be careful and dont use the water

Though the shuttle service was not available for pick and drop but overall room was clean and I was concerned before checking in due to covid-19. Me and my family was satisfied with the cleanliness.

Very nice rooms and extremely clean hotel. We absolutely loved it! Not a single noise at night. Very restful sleep. Super comfy beds. However, I didn't care about the $12 parking fee for guests. Unheard of!

Nice location relative to the airport. Very knowledgeable and attentive desk staff. Parking can be limited but is well controlled. Paid long term parking and free airport shuttle were a great value offered by this Holiday Inn.

Great place, employee "Lela" went above and beyond repeatedly over the phone and in person as she's the only reason I stayed here. Super friendly staff, well maintained and clean remodeled rooms, free breakfast, hot tub, exercise room, free Kurig coffee, microwave, mini-fridge, and free wifi. For the price you can't beat it. Though the only drawback was the no USB ports. But if You come to Frisco and want an excellent economical hotel with great staff this is the place to come. They even had an electric vehicle charging area. Thanks again Lela hope you get a promotion or raise soon because you're the example of what customer service should be.

Extremely happy to be staying at this hotel again! One of the best I would say in its category. Excellent service and the rooms are well maintained, spacious, and clean. Small things like smell good towels, going green initiatives like refillable bottled glass make a big difference. I’m just proud to say this and will recommend the hotel to everyone.

I am not too fond of them charging for parking. The rooms are the nice and the beds even nicer. We had trouble with front desk not answering their phones. Housekeeping were outstanding and very helpful. Put attention when they want to charge extra things. Also bring your water and food stuffs because their water bottles cost $3.50. On the plus side McDonald's is next door. Please be advise the inside closes at 3pm.

Solid choice if you need to stay by the airport, easy to get to, about a 10-15 minute drive.



Interior decor has been updated fairly recently. Comfortable mattress.



Rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, and a kuerig.



Hot breakfast for my stay consisted of cheese omelettes, pork sausage links, turkey sausage patties (that cut up and work well with the cheese omelette), biscuits and sausage gravy. The pancake maker was unfortunately broken. There were also hard boiled eggs, and cereal options, as well as cinnamon rolls.



There are TONS of doordash options as late as midnight if you want to order in.

Good for sleeping, nice place not so nice area.

The rooms are clean and quiet. And the staff is very friendly. The only bone I have to pick is that the curtains are installed so that the blackout curtains don't close all the way. I guess because the air conditioning/heating is right under the window. And I'm a light sleeper so I know that as soon as the sun rises I will have to too.

Great Airport Parking/Shuttle service, convenient, friendly, helpful, gracious, less than 2 miles from airport, short trip ease.

Stayed overnight for an early morning departure. My room was clean and spacious. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel airport shuttle only runs in the morning and restart at 5pm. There is no shuttle at other times, so be prepared to get taxi or Uber at such time period. The hotel itself is well worth the money they charge.

Excellent experience! Prompt and efficient. A good value for the money. Comfy, cozy rooms and the noise doesn't travel. Wonderful free breakfast. Go for it!!!

Nice beds and clean rooms! Was only there for like 8 hours just to sleep but looked like a nice facility

Francesca was the defining factor of my holiday Inn experience. I didn't quite get her last name but she has this well of enthusiasm that is unknown to man. It was refreshing to talk with her and she is so professional. #don't_lose_her_now. The amenities were great and the experience was wonderful. I will definitely be returning.

The employees were very nice and friendly. The room was great and we really liked doing the park and fly. Nice and close to the airport. We will definitely stay here again.

Airport shuttle operated strange hours, 6 to 10am and 5pm to 10. Booking website did not disclose this and we had to pay extra for a taxi. Rooms were updated, clean, spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Staff was helpful. Bay walking trail starts nearby and plenty of restaurants nearby to walk to.

Amazing experience, the upgrade was worth it. Jacuzzi and bath were clean and even when the hotel was full, I didn't hear noises. Ample breakfast selection. Looking forward to stay there again
