Amazing!!!! Amazing service from check in to help with city questions to guest service for room to check out!!! Every thing was perfect. Parking is tight but it is everywhere in the city. Was kinda nervous reading some of the reviews but a positive attitude makes all the difference we had NO trouble with parking at anytime. Nice hot breakfast every morning with great selection of drinks. Yes, you pay for nightly parking but you do almost anywhere to keep your car safe. All I can say

is this embassy does everything possible to keep everyone happy and with great customer service. The rooms are super clean with comfortable beds.STAY HERE!!!!

customer service what does anyone have to complain about!!!

I'd rather give 5 star, yet i need to be honest!

My room was excellent. However, besides that everything else was not so great.

Parking only $33 receptionist said. SF really?

I appreciate breakfasts, yet the same thing every day and not flavorful.

NO shuttle

No Gym (under construction)

No pool (under construction)

Room keys wouldn't work after few attempts.

We have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years and the experience has always been more than good - closer to excellent. However, this last visit left much to be desired. Upon checking in, we asked about the parking and were told “not to worry about it,” but upon checking out, were charged $27 parking and we’re not reimbursed for it. In previous stays, we never experienced noise but we had loud noise going on for about an hour and a half in a balcony near ours they sounded like a party. We tried to call the office but we got no answer.

We also used to enjoy the nightly drinks reception between 5-7, but were told they have discontinued it at this point and there was no compensation for it.

In the morning we were told the breakfast would be in boxes but the wait in line was more than 45 minutes, so we were not able to wait for it. So overall, the stay in the room was comfortable but if we want this kind of service and amenities we could stay at a nearby hotel for much less and it would be the same.

Best hotel to stay at in South San Francisco. Trust me, I’m here for a 9 month project and will be staying frequently so I did my research. Corner suites are cool. Gym is under construction but other than that it’s a great place to stay. Be sure to ask for Jordan! He’s the man.

A beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. I was so surprised, because I wasn't expecting such a great place, at a reasonable price and near the airport. After traveling for days, it was a great place to be. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!! And no one answers the phone. I checked the hotel amenities and verified there is an airport shuttle. I put in the special accommodations section that an 11:15pm airport shuttle is needed, then arrive with my children at 11pm, stand outside the airport watching all the other Hilton/Hyatt/Marriott shuttle buses go by. I tried calling the hotel several times over 40 min, no answer, it rings 20 times then goes to busy signal..I tried messaging the hotel through the reservation system in the app. No answer. When I finally get a person on the phone at 11:50pm, they tell me there is no airport shuttle. I scramble, ask the Double Tree shuttle bus driver if they have rooms and jump on. Keep in mind, it is 3am to us as we traveled from the East Coast. Had to call Hilton and cancel the embassy suites room, while checking into Double Tree. Considering I put airport shuttle in the special accommodations section with flight info, you would think someone would call or text letting me know that no airport shuttle is available and I could have changed my reservation earlier. I received several emails and texts prior to arrival but no mention of their inability to accommodate us. So be aware, no one answers the phone and there is No Airport Shuttle.

Ac didn’t work. Fridge was broken. We paid $34 a night for parking and hotel lot was full. They had a wedding there that lasted until 10Pm. We couldn’t hear the tv in our room the music was so loud. There was one desk clerk and always a long line. Front desk didn’t answer phone. When speaking to the Manager Mark, he said his last name was insignificant, he NEVER apologized for anything. He said everyone has different “sensibilities” so mine must think the room was warm. I’m a Diamond member and I’m ready to switch to Marriott!

Stay away if you are expecting adequate and safe parking spaces for the $32 a night charged. Be ready to climb in/out your sunroof once parked. to get in or out of your car. Also, bring earplugs if you cannot sleep with constant noise from adjacent rooms, and do not expect Security to quiet the noise level once you do call them. Not a priority for them.

The start of my vacation was horrible due to the false representation of the booking agent for my stay. I wanted to start off my vacation at a nice hotel, nice dinner, glass of wine, stress free early shuttle to the airport. Instead I arrived to find restaurants were 'closed due to covid' (in early July 2021 when everything else is opened up?) and NO airport shuttle. As an airport hotel, the hotel is so remote driving to a restaurant as a woman traveling alone, and parking in a parking garage in a strange area after dark to find a place to eat did not feel safe. I tried, wasted about an hour, and made my way back to the hotel still hungry. I then ordered door dash from my room. the food was cold, greasy, and I could not get a glass of wine. Then I had to pay extra to take a taxi to the airport. This was an all around bad experience. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Room was clean. Lobby area was nice. Breakfast left something to be desired. Eggs were watery, sausages were crunchy and greasy, and croissant was tasteless. Parking is a pain in the rear with many dead in areas of the lot that you have to back out of the row. We were also billed more than stated.

The room is nice and clean but the parking is horrible, their spaces are so small you can hardly open the door to get in. Our car got scratched while staying in here. So much for $30 overnight. The breakfast is a joke, just sugary cheap things (muffins, bar & juice). The hotel is supposed to be dog friendly but there’s no bags anyway and nowhere to dispose them? Won’t be back here.

The room was great and spacious definitely fits your needs when traveling with family. My only complaint is the parking. The parking lot had a ton of construction going on and parking was very limited especially since there was a large group staying at hotel. Overall location and room were great for visiting different parts of San Francisco.

Someone higher up thinks customers are not detail oriented and won’t notice penny pinching. They used the absolute cheapest coffee, bedding, the couches are hard and furniture overall has a cheap look and feel. The furniture is new but cheap. My room was an ice box. I called to have them bring me a space heater like I was in a worn out farm house in an Iowa Winter but no one answered the phone. Why is an embassy Suite even using space heaters. This is the second time an Embassy Suite has done this to me. It must be chain wide cheapness. Maybe I’ll try again in two years. I am cutting this stay short and going to the Hampton.

When I pay more I expect more. I want organic coffees in my room, a wide variety. I want fluffy nice bedding and towels. I want to be able to control the temperature etc.

Online needs to be updated with what's being offered due to covid, I also called and asked if the pool was open and they said yes and once I arrived there they tell me it's not, now I had to explain to 4 kids the situation and hope they understand. Also breakfast wasn't open which once I got there they tell me it is not either. Room phones don't work to call front desk to call for more toilet paper because room service only left one used roll. I went downstairs to ask if they can take some up and front desk said "no but I can give you some here, were short staff and can't go upstairs." Also the rooms smell like cigarettes, rooms have a small balcony where past guest go and smoke so the smell comes in. I was pretty disappointed with this stay.

I was extremely disappointed. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites and this has been by far my worse experience. Temperature cannot be controlled in your room so we spent 2 freezing night. Im assuming that due to Covid items are not being placed in the room but seriously having 2 bath towels for a family of 4 in a double room is not acceptable. I had to go multiple times back and forth to the lobby to get items. Not enough coffee supplies and no coffee distribution through the hotel. I had no ice bucket, noisy bath fan, no extra toilet paper, no warm blankets. Then to make matters worse first night there was kids running up and down the hallway past midnight, Saturday there was a room who was clearly partying until 4am when I finally decided to call the front desk they finally sent security to stop it. When I expressed my concerns to front desk at check out all I was told is “ I am sorry”. No compensation for the lack of sleep for the freezing and noisy experience. I had to sign a “no party policy” yet clearly that policy is only enforced if some calls to complain. breakfast was a joke. The website says “limited breakfast” but a muffin, granola bar and juice is not even a continental breakfast.

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the rooms are remodeled but obviously service still needs to be adjusted

Apparently this is the place to party. It’s 12:30am and the room above us is extremely loud. We’ve called the front desk several times but they didn’t answer. Now my husband had to get dressed to go down. When I looked out of our door there was a group of young males hanging around a room across the way. Like 12 of them. It smells like weed. The rooms are nice but it doesn’t matter when it sounds like a herd of cows is hanging out above you.

The room is very beautiful. The only thing due to covid you have to walk all the way to the back to park. And there's been a pile of trash in the hallway all day today

It wasn't like other times. There was trash outside the room all during the stay. On Sunday morning there were no breakfast bags by 930 when breakfast ends at 10 or probably later on Sunday. Hopefully everything will be fine after pandemic we ends. I miss the old Embassy suites

We were assigned to this hotel due to flight cancellation. Hotel condition seems dated even though the size is large with a small living room. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choices.

Great place to stay. Milpitas is one of i think the quietest, safest and cleanest place and room if for a family with small baby. Great employees also. Polite and helpful. We stayed there to stay away from the heat and smokey air supposedly 1 day and we ended up staying 3days. Price is cheap but the hotel is i think deserved 5 starts

I have always been a big fan of Hilton Properties.

And this hotel has to be on top of the list. Great location, couple minutes walk from the San Francisco station.

Very well maintained and clean.

Amazing, sweet, friendly professional and well trained staff.

Love the breakfast, huge variety of dishes to choose from, custom made omelette.

The rooms were huge, but the balcony or patio was very tiny.

We have been here in 2005. The lobby looks savvy and lively. Accommodating and comfortable. Sun is almost inside but not warm, rooms looks wide but with same size as before. Come and enjoy the hospitality of Embassy suites. I am not endorsing them, I am imparting a feeling of joy for a lifted environment.

I grew up going to embassy suites and always loved it. This hotel is older and under renovation but that is no excuse as to wh y the rooms were not clean. Our first night we had to change rooms twice. The first room had huge stains near the bed that smelled rotten. The second room had a yellow fluid stain on the top blanket, a large stain on the mattress pad, a hair on the towel, uncleaned vomit and white crust on the bed skirt. They gave us a new set of sheets to change the bed with and when removing there were yellow stains all over the mattress that didn’t even look like there was an attempt of washing it. We finally got settled into a room at 2:30 am. Zachary was very nice and apologetic however on our last night we turn the heater on and were instantly wheezing from the smell and black dust that came out. We woke up with sore throats puffy faces and a cough. After we go over everything with the red headed manager Lee there is no sign of empathy no I’m so sorry just a cold we’ll comp a night. On top of that we had lost items and were told to wait in the lobby for someone to check. We sat there for 30 min!!!!!! Being told it’s a process. Zachary gave great customer service maybe only the night crew had training on guest relations because the red headed girl was awful cold no smile no apologies dripping in white Privilege not making eye contact the entire time we were waiting and completely avoiding us. Not even a “enjoy the rest of your day” so disappoint we held the embassy suites to a high standard but not anymore. And we have pictures of everything!

Beautiful hotel!! My room was very spacious, my only complaint was that it is pretty dated for being so nice. The bathrooms you could tell haven't been renovated in a long time but it was kept very clean and everything worked. I had a microwave, fridge(no freezer), coffee maker, iron and blow dryer. The breakfast was awesome, buffet style. Keep in mind parking is $27.

Decent hotel close to the airport. They are currently under construction, so I'm sure its normally better. My room couldn't get below 78 degrees. They offered to bring me a fan in the middle of the night when I just couldn't take it any longer??? The food was good there, and the room was huge and dated. That heat though... For a Hilton property and $300/night, I expect much better!

Nice renovations .

I came again In January 2020 and tried the restaurant, Taste. I was pleasantly surprised. My appetizer, brussel sprouts was cooked perfectly, bacon bits were crisp. The main dish was crispy skin salmon, quinoa, and Swiss chard. The skin was crispy indeed and the dish flavorful.

As soon as you walk into the lobby you feel the presence of Embasy Suites. Stunning, huge, and has the feeling of power and prestige in the air. Happy hour is good and service is top notch.

There's currently some construction work at this time. Parking is not suited for large vehicles, but there was enough space to find parking. I enjoyed the hot breakfast provided as well as their happy hour special. The rooms and hallways were kept clean, except near the swimming pool area where the floors were slippery.

I will also acknowledge that the laundry area is very convenient. I had not done my laundry in a long time and I was so happy to hear that there was a laundry that operated 24/7. The prices are also very affordable and I was so happy. The parking fee is also not bad, other hotels charge $50-60 per night but this hotel only charged $31!

95% of my 75 nights per year are in Hilton properties - many in Embassy Suites. I was so disappointed with the condition of two different rooms that were assigned that I checked out and went to nearly property. Stained and worn carpet, peeling wallpaper, stained chairs are far below room standard. Great location and people....beautiful lobby. I'd be back when you do a room refresh.

Embassy Suites is a good choice for families. Their suites are big and spacious and they offer different room types. A big plus is the included breakfast and evening managers special. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the hotel appears to be in need of a lot maintenance. It was very difficult to open our room door because the door handle was loose. Their parking is also very bad, I paid 30 per night and their parking spaced are very very small. Because of this some guests take up 2 spaces. If you have a large vehicle finding a parking spot on the hotel property will be difficult if they don't resolve it.

I don't always come here but on my military drill weekend I do as my service has a contract with them. Always great service and friendly staff. This place got renovated a few years back on the inside and it looks great. Way better flow and design, the features they put in make it stand out for sure as a top tier hotel in the area to stay at. They also give a complimentary bag of waters and candy when you check in.

Gold Member at Hilton , has far as this Embassy Suites. Mind you I've stayed at this Hotel many times over the years.

Terrible stay at this Hotel this time, first and foremost. NO HEAT IN THE ROOMS AT ALL. That's been that case for years now. Bring something warm to sleep in, or just to have. COLD has can be.

Second...………….no Hot water in (Shower) none at all. You can get a hot shower at Motel 6, for $69.99, I expect Hot Water at a Hotel at $134.99 or $234.99 + a night. No Hot water in the bathroom sink either. Hot Water though places where you don't really need it. within there rooms. WTF

Twice now after checking out, room charges charged to my CC. I didn't eat a thing at the hotel or use there bar EITHER. Why charges on my final bill?

This stay ( parking charges) added to my final bill. Never parked in there lot?

10th floor is the floor I stayed on as well, it's there (Honors Member floor). For two months now, the Hotel (ICE Machine) on the floor, doesn't work. 2 months, you have to take the elevator down to another floor to get ICE. I know this cause I stayed on the same floor in November 2019.

Overall the Hotel needs works, and some of there staff needs training on better customer service.

Loved my stay there for a week. Room is very spacious. The hotel is in the Bay Area so weather is very cold. I miss my morning walk along the bay. I am glad I visited San Francisco. The city is safe for solo woman travelers. Plus the breakfast was good as well.

Booked here to be close to the airport. The room was basically in need of a major overhaul. The carpets were stained and dirty, the pullout couch was clearly broken. Free cocktails terrible. That said, the king size bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the staff was pleasant. Front desk help acknowledged that the rooms were in need of attention and said redecorating was in process.

Went back home to visit and someone had a party here. It was definitely like old times! Too bad they took the fish out though, did some remodeling that was good like a lounge area near the front door. The breakfast was good as usual.

This place is great - inexpensive for SF and our go to spot for when we stay in the city. They allow dogs and more importantly allow dogs in the room crates when ur not there which is PERFECT. Free breakfast, clean big rooms, and good walking area outside for our dog. I like the layout of it allows u to go in and out with no need to awkwardly pass reception after a night of going out lol. It’s an embassy so it’s like any other embassy. Can trust the quality to be good.

This is the first review I've ever written but had to comment on this breakfast. No hotel status needed and it's free, and I'm telling you, it's the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Also, free airport shuttle and it's luxurious, leather seats and very large. Will be staying here again.

Real time edit: Allow enough time though cause it makes a million stops.

I share the other people’s rating.

Rooms are large 4/5 but the carpets have a musty smell and need to be replaced 1/5.

The breakfast was good but no variation, the omelet station was quick and a big plus.

Location is great to drive all over the Bay Area but there is nothing walkable 4/5. You can always order food.

The front staff was 3/5.

The other staff including the breakfast staff were excellent and attentive 5/5.

The parking lot was horrible- every spot says compact, the parking lot was tight to maneuver and there is no space to open your car doors. On top of this, the hotel charges $29 plus tax per day, 0/5.

If they replace the carpets, fix the parking lot and charge less for the parking lot we will return.

3 across the board is not fair so let me break this down:

1. Staff - 5 stars very positive and professional

2. Food at Taste - 4 stars

3. Location - 3 stars. No good food options in walking distance, a bit industrial and commercial mix

4. Facility - 5 stars for common areas, new, clean, very nice

5. Rooms - 3 stars, clean but older and in need of an update. Carpet in my room had a large stain just as you walked in the door. Large space.

6. Cost - it’s the Bay Area so it’s double a night versus a similar Embassy Suites property in another metro area but one of the better deals for a Hilton property in this area.

Pretty decent place not far from the airport. From our room we could watch them land which was really cool considering it was right over a little bay. Place was clean. Breakfast was very good. Many choices. Restaurant was ok but it took forever.

Hotel has a great lobby and a great staff especially Yolanda. I had an issue with my room and she took care of it for me and made it a great stay! One downside to my stay is the rooms are very dated and in need of a major upgrade. I was told that it may happen in Nov - Dec of this year. I would stay here again if I was traveling to the area.

Lobby looks great...breakfast and happy hour...BUT the room is old tired and musty. Ripped curtains, washroom door not closing, just outdated and also $29 a day to park! We were supposed to stay for 4 days but cancelled the rest and stayed at a nearby hotel which is a lot better. It will be a 5 star review ones the rooms get updated and yes I will be staying. But until then...sorry it’s 1 star.
