There confirmation email stated the the pool was open year round only to find out when we get here that it has no water, really looking forward to the promising photos, only to be let down. After driving for 16 hours straight while having a cold and booking the hotel 4 hours before arriving stating what our estimated arrival time would be I specified that I would like to have a room upon arrival and I received a response email saying that they couldn't promise but would try to accommodate me, we tried to check in at 10 and we had to sleep in the car for 3 hours before we could even get a room. Once a we did finally get in the room it was hot because the air conditioner was off and the room was uncomfortable and took forever to cool down.
Days Inn has a service where you can park you car there for a fee and includes a shuttle service back and forth from O'Hare Airport. My complaint is when I and my family arrived back from our vacation. When we were originally dropped off, I was given a business card and told to call when we were ready to get picked up and they would be there between 20-30 min. Days Inn is 17 minutes away from Airport but we get it, traffic and all. When I called I spoke to Sunny Patel. I let him know what terminal we were at and he said we'll be there in 30min. I called back after 45 min. I was assured driver would be there in 10 min more. 25min later I called again and asked for the manager. Apparently Sunny Patel IS the general manager. He told me to keep waiting. Two and half hours and 5 calls later, I let Sunny know that we we're talking a taxi and I would hope they would cover the $30 cab fare. He said they would NOT pay for it because they offer a free shuttle. We ended up taking a taxi back. Of course I was upset after waiting 2hrs and said we would talk once I got there. Upon arrival, Sunny Patel had left....sure he did. They refused to pay for the taxi and not even an apology. Worst way to get back home from vacation.
I booked it for $ 244 for 4 nights through booking.com. But when I got there it was $266 because of some taxes. They advertise low rates in the site to get people, but upsell when you get there. The area is a bit rough with highway traffic and road construction. But you don't hear it as the door shuts tight. Have to walk a long way for decent restaurants. Otherwise the room was good. The water from the faceut is smelly and difficult to drink.
So. Its nice they have parking. Room was musty. Biggest and largest issue: I got cut by a PIECE OF GLASS embedded into the mattress cover. Not ok. Leads me to believe my sheets were not clean. Would not stay here again.
I had no complaints...love that u have your own outdoor entrance. Nice big parking lot. And McDonald's next door. My friend forgot his ID. And because he goes there alot they worked with him. Meaning they value their regulars.
My room was clean and there was plenty of parking. McDonald's is right across the parking lot. Can't go wrong
Room was not clean, carpet was old worn and felt damp, room did not smell clean, bed had a moldy looking stain the size of a basketball on the mattress, the bathroom floor was waxy like there was too much soap residue on it. Overall an unpleasant, although quiet, stay.
Friendly service for the price. Needs some upgrades, and tlc. Overall place has potential.
We were told the shuttle ran until 11:00 our flight was scheduled to land at 11:05 we asked the desk if we could get a ride back and they were going to note our account and let the driver know. We talked to the driver on our way to airport he said he would get us from airport as long as we got back by 11:50 pm because he’s done at midnight. We got back at 11:06 pm and when I called hotel the guy at the desk said shuttle stopped running at 11:00. I told the guy what shuttle driver said and the guy at the desk basically told me it wasn’t his problem and we weren’t able to get a ride back to airport. So we paid almost $100 for 6 people to Uber it back to hotel to get our vehicle. Very horrible customer service will never use this hotel again :(

Been coming here for over a year. I was warming my food up for my daughter. And the power went out. I called the front desk and they said. There nothing he can do. I have to wait until. 9:00 am. Remind you it only 10 :30 right now. So i give them another chance this week. Same problem occurred. Had to wait 15 minutes for power to come back on. Smdh. Great people. Just property need some upgrades to rooms and electricity supply to rooms.
Very calm and quiet place. The people who work there were very polite and courteous. I would stay here again in the future if need be. Also housekeeping lady's were respectful and did a very good job.
Come here frequently. Great staff. Great housekeepers. Great rates.
When you need a place to stay over night just for connections between airports, why not give them a try.
Public transportation to the centre of Chicago and back out again to another location is pretty good (so not too helpful for direct routes).
However, a short ride from O’Hare Airport will get you there. The next day you can then take transport into Chicago then from there onwards to Midway Airport.
Great facilities good staff
