I made a reservation via Roncari valet app. The quote was $70. After I came back from a trip, I was charged $120. Why did they significantly increase the price without any notification? This is totally unacceptable. In addition, I tried to use the points to get the free parking but they rejected that due to the company transition from Roncari to Parking spots. I loved Roncari. The excellent parking is no longer here.
I parked at the parking spot BDL from Friday to Monday. I landed at 1030 last night. Walked out the building after paying, got in my car and drove home. I used valet, I did not walk around my car and check for damage or think I should have to do. I noticed the damage as soon as I woke up this morning. The car was pulled into my driveway far off the road. I called The Parking Spot and was repeatedly told that I can’t call in damage after I drive away. They admitted to me there are 60 cameras on property. It’s terrible customer service that they cannot review their cameras and resolve whoever valet parked my car damaging it and even worse that whoever did it did not report it to their manager. My car did not get checked in for Valet with damage. They admitted to me on the phone that all 60 cameras are reviewable. Don’t park here. I will be spreading the word. If you damage something, make it right.
Very convenient. We didn’t even have to call after 10 to be picked up. Our super friendly driver was already waiting for us. Brought us right to our car, carried our bags and even gave us bottles of water. Will definitely use the Parking Spot again.
I always used Galaxy self park so tried the new Parking Spot. When I went to pay for two days at $8 it was over $20. Looking at the receipt there is a $1.52 fuel surcharge. First, gas is not high and gas is part of your expenses so put it into your price instead of sneaking it in. Second, the 2 miles with me and multiple people in the bus didn't cost them that much so it is excessive of the actual cost = added sneaked in price. Pick up was good like Galaxy was. It is self check out and lady at booth watched me have computer trouble for about 5 minutes before opening the door asking if I needed help. There are plenty of other places so, sadly, after many years I need to pick a new place to park.
Wanted to leave a review to offset all of the bad ones because I truly believe those might've been isolated events. Parking is cheaper than most places, they've never been completely out of space to park, and the shuttle comes right to you and drops you off right at your car. Upon returning, I don't think I've ever waited longer than 10-15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive to take me back to my car. The only questionable thing I would say is the price per day. For one trip I left at 7pm on a friday and returned at 4pm on sunday but was charged for 3 full days. Not sure exactly how it works but it's still pretty cheap compared to most places.
Great location to park your car for BDL flights. Close to terminal. Fast shuttle service. Very competitive daily rates. Offers AAA discount. Been parkingat Galaxy for years without any issues or problems. Use them whenever I fly from Bradley. Despite being a huge parking area, because of their good rates and convenience, the lot is occasionally full, so have a backup plan just in case.
My car was damaged while parked at the galaxy lot. I understand that accidents happen, but I had to call the manager for a week straight to find out if they had cameras that might have seen something. He never returned my call and I only got through to the manager after asking to speak to the manager’s supervisor. He was dismissive and found reasons for not being able to help me before he even knew what my questions were or what I was looking for.
I have used galaxy self park twice in the past 3 months. Five star experience both times. They answer their phones quickly, pick you up quickly to the airport, and the shuttles from the airport were there immediately both times I flew (and after 10pm). As a young woman traveling alone, the most recent driver made a point to lookout for my safety and waited until I was in my car, with it started, before driving away. I really appreciated this. They take you right to your car and the parking lot at galaxy is easy to navigate and clearly marked. It is also a very reasonable price. I will definitely keep using galaxy self park. I have always felt safe while using these services and as though it is well run.
I just got back from vacation after leaving my car here for 8 days and wanted to post a review right away so I wouldn't forget. I was worried about getting in at 4am last week, but had no problem finding a spot and catching a very prompt shuttle ride to my terminal. I called their main line while waiting for my luggage when I returned to BDL this evening - the shuttle showed up right as I was walking outside. There was no waiting involved! Got dropped off by my car, discovered that my battery had died and called the same number again. They said security was called to come help. The shuttle actually came by again a minute or two later and the driver stopped to confirm that someone was on their way. My car was jumped and ready to go within the next 15 minutes, and the security agent was kind enough to offer me to sit and wait in his (warm) car. Everyone working for this company seemed very friendly and professional. I'm super happy with my experience and will absolutely keep using their services.
PS. It had snowed a couple times during these 8 days and the Galaxy self park crew also lived up to the promise of clearing the snow off your car. Well worth the price!
