Very clean and close to LGA airport. The hotel shuttle runs from 4a-12p with departures every 30 minutes. It's just a quick 10 minute walk to the MTA station where you can take the 7 train right into Manhattan. The hotel is in a residential area that has limited local food options but enjoyed the view places I tried. Felt safe the entire stay and would stay again on my next trip to the city.

This is probably one of the largest rooms I've had in a long time the bed slept pretty good it was a little more on the firm side than anything so depending on how you like your comfort of your bed this is one that could either give you a good night's sleep or it could give you trouble while you sleep. The room was definitely clean a very nice place to relax and get away from the outside world. Not really much to see outside the window as you can see in one of my pictures so I didn't want to keep dwelling on that. The location not the best there are some things in walking distance if you like to catch up on history. I believe there's a Malcolm x center near that place but other than that it was a great gym to work out in I didn't get a chance to get the pictures down there. The breakfast in the morning very fulfilling very nice downstairs in the lobby to lounge in and get something to eat. So from the silent traveler this is definitely a A1 status to stay.

Nice, clean rooms. Hot breakfast buffet that was well maintained and staffed with friendly, helpful staff. If I could change one thing it would be to bring back the warm tortillas for wraps. Shuttle driver was sincerely nice and personable.

This was an AMAZING stay. Were here for the US Open. Let's talk about value. Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. And, complimentary shuttle to and from the US Open. In addition, lovely staff - knocking themselves out for everyone to have a great experience. Shout out to Housekeeping as they do an outstanding job; please tip them. I forgot my suitcase at home and no it was not lost by the airline? I just forgot it at home. The hotel staff provided me with multiple toiletries and did not charge me. Breakfast again complimentary was fabulous. Everything you would ever want. We arrived at the hotel so early? 8:30 am and of course did not expect our rooms would be ready and when we asked if we could perhaps get a coffee they invited us to have breakfast as well. What Hotel does that????? Five Star, Top Drawer and I am going to book for 2020 US Open. Love you SpringHill Suites.

Great customer service. In town for a Mets game at Citi Field. They shuttled us there and back which saved us either a walk, subway ride, or expensive cab ride. I was happy since I was afraid to walk the 4 blocks from the subway at night when the game was over. We left my husband's 4 door extended cab truck parked in the valet garage and we were happy they could fit his huge vehicle. It was only $22 to park it as an 'over sized' vehicle. Room was nice, small but definitely maximized the space and it didn't feel cramped. Our room was even ready early (check in was at 3 but we got there and checked in around 11:30). It was nice to be able to drop the truck and our bags and go out exploring before the game. Breakfast in the morning was good, wish they had iced tea as an option since I'm not a coffee drinker, but Marriott in general never has iced tea at breakfast. My only complaint would be that the shampoo and conditioner bottles that were available in the room were so small that there wasn't even enough to wash my hair, which is about mid-way down my back. I hadn't packed my own shampoo since we were only staying one night. Thank goodness for ponytails. Would definitely stay there again!

This hotel look like a palace the rooms look like an studio apartment. I really wanted to stay there longer. This hotel is temporary stay for Covid-19. Number other comment about this hotel. Louis Armstrong house museum walkable distance. The street where is located has all sort of small commerces you could need for a short stay while a connecting flight (supermarket, pharmacy, many restaurants mostly south American cuisine and street food).

If you are looking for a hotel next to La Guardia Airport, this one is very good.
The hotel employees are very nice too.
They offer free shuttle to the airport and to restaurants within a mile from the hotel.
In the morning, shuttles leave to the airport every half an hour.

I stopped in here to grab a late night cocktail and a bite to eat while waiting for a client to finish their presentation. I stopped at the restaurant and the bartender that was there(I have forgotten her name) Was a huge basketball fan and an excellent bartender. Friendly attentive as well as the staff that I encountered. The food was good and it was one of the few places that was open late night. It’s definitely worth stopping in.

Our flight out of Laguardia was canceled, so we booked a room for the night. We were at the rental car area, as we had tried to get a rental car to drive home without any luck. I called the hotel to see if there was a shuttle, which there was. They came and picked us up at the rental car place and took us to the hotel. It was late and we got one of the last rooms, since many flights were canceled that evening. The lobby was large and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and courteous. He gave us an extra large room, which was great. It had two bedrooms, a kitchen area and sitting area; way too much for just my husband and I, but would definitely be great for a family with children.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We told them that we would need a shuttle back to the airport the following morning and it was ready at 5:30 AM sharp to take us. We were only there for the one night and we arrived late and left early, but I had no issues with this hotel.

Funky rooms that seem like theyre from the 1980's..but the staff is super amazing. The front deso manager,Wilson was a true manager and a gentlemen and he made us feel immediately welcome. The morning brealfast is standard and nothing special,but they do have a shuttle service and its very fast and efficient.It's conveniently located near the airport and a good option for travelers !

I stayed here for three nights and had an amazing experience! Many people do not stay by an airport location to explore the city because it's "too far" but you can definitely do that staying at this property. You can take the 7 train which is about 10 minutes by foot from the hotel and ride into Manhattan in about 30-40 minutes. For a Springhill Suites they have definitely set the bar! The lady Sharece at the front desk was great and the rooms were very clean. I recommend 100!

I read some of the reviews about poor service at the hotel and unsafe neighborhood surrounding it. Neither were an issue. The staff was as good (meaning great) as any Marriott I’ve stayed at recently and we are a high-tier level. Staff was accommodating and kind and I believe if you are polite and kind, they will do what they can to help. The neighborhood is gentrifying but I found the people surrounding the hotel safe and just trying to live-in short, you need to be aware of your surroundings here but you do in any major city worldwide. Room costs are 50% of rooms in Manhattan. Otherwise enjoy being able to stay so close to Manhattan at a great price!

The rooms are HUGE but they smell musty and like they've been spayed with a deodorizer. Carpet is a bit worn too. Shuttle does not run after midnight so if you arrive late don't expect one. Front desk was great though. Market is well stocked and a free breakfast.

I had to fly to NY for a funeral and decided to book a hotel for the Emergency and I stayed at the Capital Hotel in Astoria ( which I left in less than 12 hours because it was really dirty) so I came to this SpringHill suites and my whole world changed.
The rooms are specious, it just feels like you are in a apartment, everything is nice and clean. you all can see with my pictures.
They also provided a good continental breakfast, enough to save some money for other things, the gym has the COVID awareness which I really appreciate because I work out every day. they have parking inside but you can also find parking in the blocks around the hotel.
there plenty of Bodegas and Spanish restaurants around, it is very close to the airport and they have a shuttle.
I really enjoyed my stay here and I recommend this one if anyone decides to visit NYC.

Had a delay with our flight from Detroit, so we missed our flight home. There wasn't very many hotels with vacancies. We were so glad we found this hotel. They have free shuttle from and to the airport. So that saves money, no need for an Uber. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The lobby could use some updating, the room was really nice, clean and comfortable. During the day the street noise was loud, but at night when you have the air conditioner on, you don’t hear the noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The water closet is separate from the shower, which is very convenient, for 2 people trying to get dressed. There also was a living area divided by a desk with sliding glass for privacy. The breakfast, which is free, wasn't all that great. It was cold (turkey and pork sausage, eggs, fried potatoes). The waffle mix was really thin. The oatmeal was hot. The breakfast attendant was very friendly. Both shuttle drivers (from the airport and back to the airport) were friendly.

Great hotel and very convenient to LGA. Nice lobby with a full bar and breakfast buffet was typical Spring Hill suites. Rooms were nice but know that the bed is a little hard. Room came with microwave and refrigerator. If you have a car, please know your options. There is valet parking at the hotel for $22 per night. However, there is street (mostly metered) parking if you can find it. Even late, I found parking right in front of hotel. The meter is $1.25 per hour with a two hour maximum. Unless you are going to park in multiple places in NYC, I would not recommend the online payment option. It requires you to pay a minimum of $25.00 up front and deducts from there....then autorefills. Meter on Saturday goes from 8 am - 7 pm.
