Ok hotel. We arrived very late, and the staff was very nice and friendly. They offered free snacks and water. We did not try the breakfast. The room was mostly ok, but there were a lot of long fine black hairs on the sheets. The towels were thin and scratchy. The wifi is very slow so I just used the data plan.
Carpet was dirty and heater made noise every time it ran. The folks who work there were extremely helpful to us. Kudos to the front desk folks. The breakfast was ok. Lady making the eggs was crabby. Kind of grouched at everyone.
I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. After checking in I was greeted by "Nikki" of the housekeeping stay when I entered my room. She asked if I had everything I needed and told me about nice things to do and see in the area. Her friendliness and helpfulness set the tone for my stay. The room and bed were very comfortable and the neighborhood was peaceful. "Sherry" makes fresh bacon and eggs every morning and she is very friendly always greeting you with a smile. Quality Inn Airport is a great value and Highly Recommended!
Excellent and friendly staff, lots of free snacks and very comfortable clean rooms. Excellent location close to everything. Let my dog stay free!❤️
Everything. The staff and housekeeping was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. There was someone there every mourning to prepare eggs and bacon fresh to order. We are definitely staying here our next trip to Pittsburgh
Good location, close to airport. Quiet and seems very safe.
They need better maid service!!The smell was horrible and everything is out dated! Location to Airport is great but not worth it because of the cleanliness issues!
Not sure if my experience was typical, but if it was, I'd stay away from this place.
Breakfast starts at 3:30 AM
When calling the inn about the airport shuttle, they said it ran every half hour. What they declined to mention was that you had to specifically request it to come pick you up, and in fact did everything short of outright stating that it was a regular occurrence and such a thing wasn't needed. This meant we waited 45 minutes at the airport before another bus driver went around twice and decided to call them for us.
A short bit after we got to our room, the door just opened and two other people came in, saying that they had stayed there the previous night and were told this room would be available. This was eventually worked out with the front desk, but was still not exactly what we'd want (apparently the person at the front desk hadn't even been told of this, and these guys had gotten a master keycard for some sort of company room).
After this incident, we went back to our rooms and found out that our keycards were broken. We had to go back to the front desk for this, at which point we were getting kind of tired of talking to her.
In the morning, we had actually scheduled a bus last night to leave early at 4:15 (we had an early flight), and when we came down at 4:10, we were told the people who scheduled a bus for 4:45 had just taken our shuttle and we'd have to wait for a new one, which took around 20 minutes. There was another couple who was in the same boat as us.
Minus the police chase on my last night... Everything was great.
There was even staff cooking eggs & bacon for breakfast patrons in the mornings!
I would recommend looking elsewhere for your travel stay. The room smelled like rotting bacon and old carpet, and the hallways smelled of smoke, despite being a non smoking floor. The room which we booked was not available (two king size beds) and according to the front desk employee, did not exist within this hotel. Despite this false advertisement, the hotel would not adjust the price paid. The customer service was terrible as well, with promises to talk to a manager who was only available on the week days, and not able to do anything beyond this. This does not help with weekend travelers, yet when my wife talked to her, she had a different story of the manager being available on Sunday morning. I dread the free breakfast, as I expect to be poisoned inadvertently.
