I have parked at Globe for 25 years. Mostly I have liked it. The people are always nice. Even though I now have to pay, I generally get my car washed.
Unfortunately the last few trips I have had to wait a very long time to be picked up. Today it was more than 35 minutes.
The next day:
I am raising my rating. The manager of Globe reached out to address my concern. I have 25 years experience with these folks and most of it has been quite good. I will give them another chance.
After literally saying out loud to my husband, this was great and they are so nice I will definitely use them again... my husband started acting weird saying things were moved wondering if they used his vehicle while
We were gone. We drove about 10 miles and stopped at a sheetz to get food and gas and when we went to put my son back in his car seat noticed that it was completely unbuckled from the car. If you are going to use your customers vehicle while they are gone please have the decency to inform them that you removed the car seat. Imagine the lawsuit you’d have on your hands if we got into an accident and something happened to our child because YOU removed his seat and didn’t tell us. That’s TERRIFYING!!!
Great place to park your car for airport travel. Everybody there is always helpful. They get you to the airport quickly and when you return, they pick you up promptly and have your car ready for you to jump in and go with there pre paid tickets so you can bypass going inside to pay.
This is arguably the worst parking option available for Pittsburgh. Literally every other parking spot has been a better experience. The company operates with little to no consideration of customers. If the business forgets to charge your account, look out! Their first call is to the police when they error. Experienced possibly the most comical, yet inconvenient parking at an airport anywhere in the country here. Not only were they late, but they messed up billing and subsequently called the cops before reaching out to at 1:30AM! Avoid at ALL costs! Plenty of better professionally run parking spots to go to.
Absolutely slow service. Missed my flight because they waited 15 min to fill the van. On my return after waiting over 25min, the driver was absolutely rude and slow as snail to move. Never again with these guys. All their competitors came twice or more while I waited for the pick up. Even one star is too much for the service I got.
Very sketchy experience. Charged me nearly $50 to jump my car while I wasn’t there to see it dead and without contacting me about it. Settings in the car changed and a light seemed to be left on by them. Will definitely never touch this business again.
This was the best idea for parking !! They take you and pick you up. When you return from your vacation you just call they pick you up and take you to your vehicle which is right out front and waiting for you. So nice and so easy !!
DO NOT PARK HERE!!! I came back from a Magical Disney vacation October 4th, 2019. When I came back to Globe, I was informed that they lost the key to my 2019 vehicle. Really? YOU HAD ONE JOB…TO TAKE MY KEYS & HANG THEM ON A BOARD UNTIL I CAME BACK…THAT’S IT!!! Then, when it came time for them to reimburse me for all my expenses incurred due to globe losing my key, they only paid roughly 80% of what was rightfully owed to me. Parking at Globe…definitely NOT magical!!!
It's a good idea. Prices are right. They've been around for 40 years. Working there is wonderful too except for the communication. I was fired for dozing off and jumping a curb. I warned the boss earlier about road fatigue but they kept me on the road. The airport suspended me and I was let go.
These guys are always hustling to provide great service. Last time I parked here I also requested a detail. It was so great to come back to a clean car.
If I could I would give 0 stars our driver drove 80mph to the airport no air in the bus. Then playing the waiting game on the return to the vehicle we were passed on 3 different times because they didnt come to the right meeting spot. Definitely use someone else.
Price was GREAT, and so was check-in and transport to airport. Pickup on Saturday August 24, 2019 around 3:30 p.m. was a NIGHTMARE! Mind you, we tipped him (driver) decent upon our initial encounter!! The driver who was middle aged, grayish hair was so rude. He threw our luggage in the van where is slammed against the back wall, yelled at another couple for trying to help, and drove through the airport at a high rate of speed. Once on the highways, his speedometer read 77 and I know the speed limit wasn't even close to this. After hanging on for what seemed an eternity, we arrived at Globe, and retrieved our luggage which was slammed down on the pavement by the driver. We went inside to pay, and a nice gentleman at the counter with dark hair could tell that something was wrong. He deeply apologized, and stated that he (the driver) is always like that everyday. I'm sorry, but when you are a driver for a company, you must keep in mind the safety of your passengers. Shame on him, and shame on Globe for allowing this driver to exude such anger and ignorance at the sacrifice of others safety.
Always a pleasure to do business with Globe when I am flying out of Pittsburgh. They have the best rates, and there are shuttles every few minutes going to and from the airport. The process is easy, the lot is gated, and I never have to worry about my car while on vacation.
The van driver we had over the weekend was great, I believe his name was Tom. He was very courteous and we had a great conversation. I will definitely be returning to the globe
Have been here about 5 or 6 times..... have given specific instructions about what time I was arriving.... even called and gave them specific instructions about what i wanted done on my vehicle while i was gone.... even follow up with a phone call while i was out of town to ensure what i had asked for was being done.... twice they didn't get anything done and the last time they couldn't follow any of the instructions that were given them.... all at the cost of my money and my time.... still an hour and a half later and still sitting here waiting on them to get my vehicle..... will never park here again....
Good fast service! I SAVED MONEY by booking my reservations online on their website. I even came back a WEEK LATE and there was no problems! I called to let them know and they said "okay" no problem!
I checked in for the first time. I walked up to the Parking Counter, less than a minute away, and showed my reservation number on my cell phone and I was taking care of quickly! I arrived at my airline in about 15 minutes or LESS!
I had no problems on my return trip either. I recommend Globe Airport Parking!
Always a good experience parking here. They always have our car ready and extra services are well priced. Repeat customer and will keep coming back
