Love the fact that they have a full mirror obove the bed room was kinda small but was still good almost like staying in a kitchenet

Unfortunately, we didn’t have hot water for the first day and a half but the weather was so unbelievably cold. It was really out of their hands to be fair. They got it fixed as quickly as they could and the staff was always friendly and pleasant. The breakfast had a great selection for the money the cost was reasonable and I would stay here again

The rooms are very small. The room was clean, but the carpet was dirty. The bathroom was clean, but there was a crack in the ceiling. They are close to the airport and provide free shuttle service and you can leave your vehicle there. The TV was great and they offer free wifi. They also offer a breakfast buffet, but we left too early to try it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First, the good news. The beds are comfortable. Pillow top mattresses and lots of decent pillows. Shower had really good water pressure. There is an iron and ironing board, but I didn't use those. The HVAC worked well. There was a microwave and small fridge that also worked well. The room was carpeted, many cheap hotels have abandoned carpet. There is front and rear parking. You can get the rooms pretty dark at night because they have decent blackout curtains. I saw people bringing pets inside, if you travel with a pet. It's close to the airport and 2 gas station/convenience stores. 5 miles in either direction on interstate 29 gets you any food you want.

Now the not so good. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner because the samples aren't enough. There was no hair dryer nor coffee maker in the room. The shower/toilet/sink are in the same place, as opposed to sink outside the toilet/bath. If you have noisy neighbors, you might be in for a long night because you can hear hallway noise and next door noise. They advertise free breakfast, but I hope you have a backup plan. The juice dispenser had apple but no OJ. I didn't use the coffee maker except for hot water. They had 3 cold cereals (Cheerios, Corn Flakes and Raisin bran), a few yogurt cups, 2 kinds of Quaker Oats oatmeal, white and wheat bread for toast, a pancake maker (didn't use), one kind of mini muffins. I got there around 7:30 a.m. Maybe there was a better selection at 6 a.m. There is not a pool or workout area.

They put a $50 hold on your credit card, pretty standard. Check in/out was painless. I gave it 4 stars because the room/bed was comfortable, which for me is most important at any price. You probably won't find a much better price this close to the airport, but don't expect the red carpet. Be satisfied with a good night's sleep.

The hotel is a little dated and maybe a little rundown, but the staff was more than accommodating. We had 20 people stuck at the airport in Kansas City at 1:30 in the morning. One man was running the front desk and running the shuttle. He managed to get all of us here (in 3 trips) and in a room as quickly and efficiently as he could. Thankfully, we were all able to sleep in a pretty comfortable bed and get some rest before we head back to the airport this morning.

My LA to KC flight was delayed so I let Krishna at this hidden gem of a hotel know, and he kindly said, "no problem sir, I'll come when you arrive" I arrived at 2:40am, called the hotel, I was picked up and brought to a room in a hotel that is obviously being returned to it's former, utilitarian glory.

My room was small, but super clean, quiet, and functional. It was exactly what I needed and an incredible value.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I loved staying at Microtel.

Lots of Pros - Close to airport (6 mins), free shuttle to drop off at airport (driver even help lift my two 50 pound heavy bags and drop them off van at airport), comfortable bed, clean tidy room, towels and bathroom and very reasonable rate.

I couldn’t ask for more and will visit again in future. Thank you staff and team for going above and beyond.

Good place to stay for one night. Walls are thin and only carbs offered for breakfast but other than that, room was clean and put together and the hotel staff was accommodating.

I'm only giving y'all five stars based on service. I could've easily missed my flight this morning at 5:30am but thankfully the receptionist woke me up.

Hotel building in good bones and nicely kept and so are the rooms.

Bathroom though needs serious plumbing fix. The toilet was shaking badly along with the shower spout and shower head.

The overall time spent there was a nice one. They were all really nice and very helpful. The breakfast was not very good but it did fill you up. Otherwise everything else was good.

It is what it is. Safe clean place to sleep. We checked in early without any problems. Good A/C, quiet, safe, and comfortable bed. Great value for the price.
