To call this a 2 star hotel was a bit of a stretch. We had two rooms, which were both filthy. Granted, they came right to our rooms to clean, we showed up at 630pm and rooms weren't ready yet. Not to mention they just came busting into the room to clean without making sure my wife and were even clothed. Also, the shower heads weren't attached at the wall, so it felt like they would break off anytime we tried to adjust them. The pool was cold and stunk of vinegar. We also had to find staff to get the code to the pool and to then get the lights turned on.
Overall, we were quite disappointed in our stay.
Room seemed clean, simple, with a small fridge and a microwave. Staff was nice and friendly. Perfect if you just need a place to crash. Worth asking about discounts or price matches. They charge 20$ per pet which is a bit much.
Bad value. Costumer service was bad. I spotted multiple bugs in my room. On the bright side the bed room and bathroom were clean (other than the bugs) and the bed was acceptably comfortable. I will not go back.
I worked with Amanda this evening as I booked a room for my brother and mother. Amanda went above and beyond beyond to answer my questions and ensure everything was good to go! Very much appreciate her assistance and great customer service skills! Highly recommend!
Terrible, booked 1 King room. Everything felt and looked dirty, lobby, elevator, room old furniture looked grimey. Bed was clean so we stayed. TV and wifi service was good. Price was too much. Plus $20 for a dog. To matters worse, as we were leaving I tripped on a hole in drive way near entrance. After they put a traffic cone. I'll spare you the adjoin abrasion pics on hand and knee. Staff were kind and retrieved some bandaid and asked if I needed medical care. No thank you, I have 1st aid in my vehicle.
The room was good first experienxe with cold shower but looks likw the hot water hester broke but replaced almost asap which was good in time, for my kids to shwoer up. Pool was nice and warm
Do not book this hotel. There was a man with at suitcase hanging outside and a hotel staff person was chasing him away. A sign saying masks were required was posted by the only masks I saw were the ones my sister and I were wearing. I got the key to the room, it was dark and smelled bad. It was by the elevator and we did not feel the door to the room was secure enough. We did not take the risk of staying and found a better place.
Great place to stay!! Affordable with all the amenities including an indoor pool!! The owners are very nice people and always made me feel welcomed!! Would recommend and stay again!!!
Excellent experience. Staff are professional, kind and consistent. Clean, well kepted and secure
I originally made reservations for this place and when I arrived the place appeared run down, it's small and didn't seem to be kept up well at all. The guy informed me the pool was closed because chemicals were off and offered to let me try somewhere else which was their only saving grace. I went next door to the Hilton and got a room on the spot for cheaper and it's a much nicer place.
It was filthy! Absolutely disgusting. Garbage on the floor in the bathroom. Sticky grossness on the desk. Just awful!
Do not waste your money. The price is too high and dont worth it at all. Personnel did not clean high contact areas at all. Ex, elevator, floors, desk, doors, etc. Walls are disgusting. The elevator's floor was so dirty that you could not notice what was the original color. Personnel is rude. My room was dirty and stinky. I found hair in the toilet. The hair dryer was so dirty that I couldn't even touch it. I found blood spots in the bathroom's floor.
It was a okay hotel 🛏️🛍️ but nothing to write home about. The room was average and the breakfast wasn't bad either. It sucked the coin washer was broken because I had to go to a laundry 🧺 6 miles away when I departed. The pool was indoors which was good because it was at the cool time year in March. Pool was kinda of small for the usage and can get crowded at times but over all it was close to I-29 freeway and MCI airport. Not sure if I'd use it again though.
Clean room nice customer service. Pool is nice but was smaller than expected a little cool for indoors. But we'll worth the money
I have stayed here many many times I have to come to Kansas City once a month it's fairly clean kind of dirty in some areas on one occasion I waited an hour to check in because the person up front was at the airport the one time that I needed to cancel my reservation they would not let me and they charged me full price I explained to them that I stay with them every time at least once a month they did not care they still charge me full price I have also stayed at the Best Western next door hands down for $5 more night is worth it. I shouldn't have been charged anything and they didn't even give me a discount
The rooms are basic. Good quality. Kids had fun in the pool. The breakfast was Less than par. I would definitely bring your own breakfast food. Stairwells were very dirty. But no complaints about cleanliness of rooms.
Good stay, bed was comfortable. Swimming pool could have been warmer. No towels out in the swimming pool area so ask before you go for your swim.
These rooms were just ok. We won't be back. There was nasty brown stuff on the ceiling, the bathroom was nothing but a patch. The beds we're not comfortable. Window screen was hanging half off. You couldn't sleep well because you can hear everything going on I on the second floor. Very bad choice we made by staying here and we will not refer this place to anyone.
Staff very friendly, entire place clean but the pool is freezing. Whew says heated I don't know how
Nice front desk staff. No breakfast during COVID. Elevator was broken but they were awesome and moved us to a 1st floor room (for my disabled husband). No issues getting extra towels or soap. Really warm shower water and really good AC. Good place for the price and location.
DO NOT STAY at Days Inn by Wyndham in Kansas City. They charged us for 2 nights when we only stayed 1. First they swore up and down there was only 1 charge (when I could clearly see a second on our account). They decided to change the narrative and say that someone under a different name booked a room with my card and phone number and that they would refund me this time, like I would be dumb enough to stay there again. Something seems fishy to me that someone supposedly had my card info and only chose to use it there. The staff was extremely rude and hard to communicate with.
Great location, clean, very nice owners and workers. Decent price. The beds are very nice!
Meh. This should have been a 5-star review. I booked a 2-night stay via Booking.com and paid what I would have expected to pay for a single night. My room was larger than expected and clean, even had a sofa and seating area that I did not expect. BUT the non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. I received no cleaning services the second day (not even to empty the trash or provide a new liner for the ice container). Despite a mask order in Kansas City, not all staff wore masks and mask-wearing was not enforced for guests in common areas. While I usually accomodate for extenuating circumstances, the hotel staff here under performed across the board, and under normal circumstances, I would be giving them an even lower rating.
My room was clean and sufficient for a quick turnaround in KC. Got in late, flew back out early. The staff was excellent and kind. The shuttle to and from the airport was prompt. Good value. Thank you.
The hotel isn't bad. But the staff is rude, and you had better keep an eye on your things. Had two different staff members give me and my girlfriend attitude. But the reason for the review is, they are thieves. We left a remote in plain sight on the TV stand and forgot it when we checked out. I called to ask about it, and was cut off, and the gal on the phone started yelling that they didn't have it, and then hung up. Called again, and they hung up as soon as I said anything. Will be contacting upper management.
I was in a domestic relationship and had to escape with my son. I came here pics doesnt look like the room but i was safe. The police was looking for my him and i had to stay a few more nights.i had to wait for the domestic advocate to get out of church the lady down stairs called me and told me to pay now. When i went down with the money before i could even get anything out she said its not my problem U got beat up and i dont care pay now. Literally 2 hrs later the advocate paid for 3 more nights. I was hurt and ashamed. Mind u i had paid 3 days already with no problem and i know its not her problem but she could of been a little more compassionate.
Very clean, great price, convenient location and an outgoing staff. Made sure our stay was as perfect as it could be, bravo Days Inns!
The room was very clean and comfortable! The staff was amazing! John is an awesome person! He is very very good at his job! You should give him a raise!!!😁👍
The morning clerk John Brady was excellent! Just a very nice man who did a great job getting us fyi the airport and helping with the luggage.
A solute my wonderful!
Clean rooms and excellent staff!
John was so friendly, courteous, and personal! Also intelligent! Had a well informed conversation about death with dignity.
Remembered my name through our entire stay. Absolutely great!
Also, great waffle maker and batter!
Everything was as expected. Easy to check in. Continental breakfast was nothing exciting but the shuttle driver was extremely nice and very helpful even early in the morning. I appreciate the service.
Very disappointed. Pics on the website DID not match. Rooms smelled like stale smoke & mildew. There were dents in the walls, brown tacky stuff on them & what looked like spilt milk stuck to the bottom of the fridge. Only plus was the staff was very friendly & understanding when asked for a refund.
Excellent customer service! John at the front desk is probably one of the nicest people I've met! Thanks
Beautiful room, such helpful thoughtful desk clerk and personnel. Pet friendly, clean, and very reasonably priced.
I don't mean to be negative but the elevator sounded like it was going to die and so did are vent in are room and when you turned the light on the vent came on. When I went to take a shower there was a dirty crusty rag on the shower and I don't think I could have taken a bath but slept ok the beds were not bad and the staff were nice
Rooms were clean but really in need of some updates. Lobby has a funky odor.
Very close to airport but getting to downtown is a hike.
Great hotel experience, good breakfast set up. (Delicious Waffles.) Friendly, helpful staff, nice enough rooms/beds, nothing exquisite, but a good place to sleep. They even have an indoor pool.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere too!! Pool area needs some updating but still is decent. Only issue was the overwhelming smell of mold in our room. It was so bad, it bothered my allergies and asthma. This was a first floor room. My guess is the rooms on the other floors more than likely don't have that issue. Next time I will request to stay somewhere other than the first floor.
Don't try checking out early in the morning... They'll most likely not be there. I waited an hour and a half before just leaving a note cause i had a flight to catch...
Other then that room was decent
Older facility that was nothing to write home about. Appreciative of a continental breakfast, but if you want variety, I wouldn't recommend this particular hotel. Waffles, toast, cereal, and yogurt were the only options. We booked the room for 5 people and checked into a room with 3 towels and 2 drinking cups. It's definitely a cheap rate, and if you just need a clean bed to sleep in, this would do. If you want anything more, I wouldn't recommend it.
My trip was awesome,
I have had an awesome experience with Days Inn by Wyndham Kansas City International in Kansas City. The staff was very helpful. The atmosphere was homely. The food was very tasty and smelled good. The indoor pool was where I really had my best time. This one is a very good hotel in Kansas City.
