Easy, affordable, convenient. My only reason for keeping a 5 star is that sometimes upon arrival back at the airport in can take awhile for the shuttle to arrive for pickup
I waited outside for 37 minutes before a shuttle picked me up. They know when all their customers’ flights arrive and should plan better. I saw multiple Parking Spot shuttles and KC airport parking shuttles go by in the time I was waiting. I would not recommend this place for the extra cost. They did get me to the airport fast. Plan for inconsistency and be prepared to wait.
Good dependable and safe location to park your vehicle while traveling from KCI/MCI airport. I been using the Park Air for over 10 years!
I’ve used them forever. I love that my car is waiting for me under the roof when I get there. My only real complaint is that they can take forever to pick you up. Which sucks during the winter.
We never went back to long-term airport parking after using Park Air Express. It is usually fast and convenient. Drop your car, they park it, catch a transit to the terminal within a few minutes. When you return, call & give them your ticket # when you land. Their van will be curbside to pick you up within 10-15 minutes, & your vehicle is ready to drive off when you arrive at their facility. And yes, the rates are competitive with long-term airport parking, and you don't have to remember where you parked. No hassles parking!
Have used this service for over 2 years on almost a weekly basis. Issues arose but they always made it right. Went on a 3 day trip recently for vacation, used my “free 3 day parking pass”. I arrived on a Sunday and the gentleman porting the cars seemed to be having an off day. Usually the Monday morning guy is crazy happy and very engaging. The Sunday guy projected he’d rather be elsewhere. Upon arriving I presented my coupon in which he told me to hold onto it until we arrived back. I requested indoor parking and he obliged. Upon returning they denied my parking pass because the coupon was only for outdoor parking. Had I known this I would of made different arrangements. The lady at counter said they would look at video of the interaction between me and their Sunday guy because she said “he has been here long enough that he knew to tell us we could not redeem our pass for indoor parking. “ More or less she was calling into question how truthful we were being. Will never use them again. Will never recommend their services again. As a customer who has spent quite a bit of money to park there, to raise a stink over 18 dollars (difference between indoor and outdoor parking per day). I will go elsewhere where customer loyalty is valued.
Best place to take your car for KCI departures. Simply drive up, they valet your car and catch the shuttle. On return, they have your car out front and ready to go.
They know how many people are arriving and when. But can’t send enough shuttles to pick everyone up. So some people are left standing for 15-20 minutes minimum. In the mean time, Hilton shuttles have made 4 passes and city busses 5.
Have used this company many times, and the past couple of years the pickup times have been slow. Last year, it took an hour after calling upon arrival to get my family picked up. However, this past week it only took about 20 minutes for my colleagues and I to receive a ride while we watched numerous vehicles from The Parking Spot (and long term parking shuttles) pass us by. In summary, rides to the airport are generally fast, but pickups too slow. So, as long as you're not in a hurry to get to your destination in the KC area, you should be alright with this company.
Love this place! Locally owned and operated and it shows. The shuttle drivers are very nice as well.

We picked up our car after midnight - they pulled it through the lit area - we got in our car and went home. The next morning, walk in the garage and see a huge scuff across the front bumper. They denied everything. Now they say the initial inspection report states there was damage all over our new car - which is not true. EDITED: After a lot of back and forth we did reach an agreement to settle the matter.

I leave my car here every time I fly. I feel very safe dropping off and picking up my car.
Over the last 2 years this place has gone down hill. I used to show up and immediately get on a bus to go to the airport. I have now waited up to 20 min just to get to the airport. The biggest problem I have is when you return. I always call while im waiting for the luggage to come out. I usually dont wait too long if i am flying southwest because that is terminal B. If your flight comes into terminal C you are screwed. You will wait an hour and have to call twice before someone shows up. But wait theres more...One time i had to call an Uber to take me to my car because no one answered the phone at 12am. I did notice that "the parking spot" buses passed me regularly so I have switched to using them with no problems.
Great parking. I used this place all the time when it was Thrifty Car Rental. They are even better now and the prices are not bad. Especially when it is weather isn't so great outside.
Great service and so fast. We had twenty minutes till our flight the moment we got here and they got us to the airport so fast. We made our flight thanks to these people!
I use Park Air Express a lot (anywhere from 1-3 times a month) and most of the time, it's a pretty good experience. The bad experiences are just so aggravating though. They are frequently short staffed, which makes getting picked up from the airport quite slow in the evening, which is so annoying in the winter, and even worse if you happen to be in Terminal C because the shuttle is usually full after B pickups. The car wash is frequently broken. The express checkout often doesn't work for whatever reason (computer down, not enough people there to help hand out keys, they just don't run the card, etc.). I've started to learn... if the weather isn't ideal for both departing and arriving... go somewhere else. And I hate that, because I'd rather just have one, reliable option. The people are working there are friendly and seem to be working hard, so I suspect it's management not willing to pay for extra help during busy times or weather related issues.
Easiest place near KC airport to drop off your car and get on a shuttle within minutes. Prices are reasonable and the cars are stored behind gates or indoors. Call them when you land and they pick you up and have your car waiting.
I have had my last parking experience at this place! They have a low price point, but their drop off service is unreliable unless you plan an extra 40 min. They are 15-20 min from bus to your airline, and may only have 1 bus running. That means you wait 20 more min. for the one bus to return. They always ask when you will return, including the time, but they don't appear to use the information to staff busses. So you will see 8-10 Parking Spot busses go by before the 1 Park Air Express bus. If only one bus running, it may be full when it arrives and you'll be told you'll have to wait 20 min. for the lone bus to arrive. It's not worth the few dollars you may save!
Very convenient. Will use again! When we flew in there had been an unexpected heavy snow. After they picked us up from the terminal we found they had removed most of the snow and ice from our car and warmed it up! We just got in and left! Loved it!
We’ve been using Park Air for quite a while but lately we’ve been having doubts and have been considering using another location. Tonight has decided us.
We waited 1/2 hour for a shuttle to come, calling multiple times, while a crowd of 13 was standing outside in the freezing air. When we finally arrived our car was not ready and there was only one person at the register with a line of about 20 waiting to pay. Right now I see about 6 people standing here waiting for their car to pull up, ours is nowhere in sight even though we called 45 minutes ago.
Note to management - virtually everyone on our full shuttle said they were changing parking services.
I used to love this company. It’s gone downhill since KCI bought them out. The only run two shuttles at a time. Waiting times to be picked at up the airport are way too long. I a have a trip this week and I am going to give the Parking Spot a try. No one wants to wait 40 minutes to be picked up after a long day of traveling.
Old lady at the front of the desk is mean - my goodness she is the face of this Buisness checking people in and out. Customer service training may be needed.

Almost missed my flight, there were about 50 people with reservations waiting to shuttle to airport and only 2 shuttles were operating, it's 20 min round trip and each shuttle holds about 15 people. There were 3 other shuttles sitting idle, so I am guessing they were short staffed, but then the same thing happened when we arrived home at 1130 pm, it took me an hour and a half to get from airport to my car, which wasn't ready for me. The whole point of valet service is negated by this lack of staff on hand, especially when 90% of their business is by reservation, which includes flight info. Love the concept, but the execution just isn't there. Back to long term lot for me.
We have used park Air Express when flying for many years, Its the perfect solution for hassle-free parking. The buses are constantly running, very timely, courteous drivers and priced-right. It's great.
Tried to get a quote for 5 days reservation ended up being canceled.The lady in the office made go over the times of arrival to pick up 8 times to try and confuse me, so I would forget how much it would cost. I made the reservation online prior no estimate was given. The worst customer service. Lady was not helpful. She couldn't hear or understand me and was very wishy washy. I will take my business elsewhere. What a joke very disappointed!
I too wish I could leave a 0-star review for this company. When we returned from a week-long vacation, I called the company upon landing, and then my family and I still had to wait over an hour for a transport to arrive. Meanwhile, my daughter noted that over 10 vehicles from The Parking Spot had passed us by over that period of time. I will be using them from here on out, and highly recommend avoiding this company. It's not the first time I've had to wait for an extended period (20-30 minutes) for a pickup, but it is not acceptable to make a family including very little children arriving late in the evening during a thunderstorm to wait an hour outside for service.
I have no idea why we continue to use this company time and again, but this will absolutely be the last time. Middle of the day after 7 flights landed and we've now been waiting for over 15 minutes on the shuttle. The Parking Spot has had no less than 7 shuttles drive past during this time and far superior service. We've made two separate calls including one 25 minutes ago to advise we had landed. This company needs to get their logistics together. We're done!!
I wish I could have used a zero to score this company. We were picked up on terminal B and our luggage was placed on the luggage rack. When the people from terminal C were left off the driver took our luggage and placed it on the sidewalk between the divided area on terminal C and then drove off. My husband discovered his luggage was no longer on the luggage rack approximately 3 minutes after leaving the airport and told the driver he must off taken his luggage off with when the other passengers were let off on Terminal C.
The driver did NOT turn around but drove to the Park Air Express building and left the bus. We told the person behind the counter what happened and he said “that is bad”and then charged us the full price of parking with no I am sorry or we will help you get your luggage back.
I immediately called the airport concerning our luggage that was left and the police had already been called due to an unattended bag. We drove to the airport and talked to the police (they were very nice. We had to show our IDs and give a description of the bag) but then had our luggage returned 30 minutes after being dropped off at Park Air Express.
I have NEVER had such bad service!!! I understand people can make mistakes but when they do not offer to help get your luggage or turn around to get you luggage they left unattended in a terminal pick-up area is unacceptable.
First of all, they capably of getting to and from the airport...but so can my 76 year old mother.
My complaint is the care of my new truck that I left in their care for 7 days and the damage to paint that was left behind.

I am writing in response to the phone conversation we had today 4-17-19 and the claim #xxxxxxxxx
I'm being told my claim was denied on March 17th, 2019 although today was the first contact I've received from anyone associated with SP plus. I have include supporting documentation that should support my damage claim by Park Air Express (PAE) in Kansas City, Mo. I have two estimates done and have includes them.
On February 23rd, 2019 I dropped my truck off at the drop off at PAE about 2hrs before my 6am flight. Conditions that day were very rainy and my truck had an even layer of road film due to the long drive from Des Moines, Ia. Check in attendant did not walk around my vehicle with me before taking possession of my vehicle.
On March 4th, 2019 we arrived at PAE to pick up our truck, roughly around midnight. There were about 6 vehicles pulled up in the check out area. It was about 2 degrees Fahrenheit with -15 windchill, and numerous traveler were honking and needed me to leave immediately. We then stopped at the first open gas station near the highway about 20 min later as we had a long drive back to Iowa. Under the very well lite gas station I noticed the 3 long scratches in the road film along the drivers side. One in front of gas filler door, another on driver's side rear door, and another on driver's door. After fueling the vehicle I immediately called PAE to tell them what we had discovered. They told me to bring it and I met with Jody xxxxx.
I had her take a look it and showed her the damaged areas, I explained when I dropped the truck off it was raining and truck was covered in road film so the scratches were easy to spot. I explained I understand accidents happen if the vehicles are stored closed together and it was cold and someones winter coat or keys cold have scratched the truck when someone walked between them. She took photos ( see pics) she is the one in the green coat. She then offer me rubbing compound as a solution. I said no thank you, when you rub your fingers across you could tell they were deep and to please provide me her insurance company information. At 12:49am we filled out the claim form, she highlighted the bottom and said someone should email me in a week, but I should wait 2 week because they may be on vacation. We then left to go home, the next morning I took photos in the daylight as the PAE drop off area is not very bright at 12:30am. (see photos)

I called the phone number on the claim form, the extension I was connected to went to voice mail. I left a message @ 8:24am.
A few hours later I called PAE in Kansas City to inquired on the status of my claim. She asked for my claim number, I said I didn't have one. She said someone should have contacted me with a claim number, I told her that is why I'm calling because nobody is processing my claim. She was so nice and contacted me a little later that day with my claim number and said someone would contact me in about a week. I asked here when my claim was file? She said that morning... March 20th, 2019.
April 1, 2019 I hadn't been contacted yet , I called SP plus, went to voicemail.

April 16th, 2019 Still hadn't been contacted, I made an appointment with Ramsey collision for the repairs. At 4:20 pm I called PAE, explain that I haven't heard from someone in almost 7 weeks. They said they would have someone contact me today 4-17-19.
As of July 7th, I still haven't heard anything and don't imagine I will. So if you plan to use park air Express, drive some beater car you don't care about. Because they don't and customer service means very little. Long story short, they denied my claim before it as ever filed...can you say crooked!
This is the second time I have used this place. The first time was ok it was cold and snowy and it was good to get my vehicle inside to load. It did take quite awhile for them to bring it to me. I was ok with that since the weather was not very good.
The second time I used them was yesterday. Leaving it off was ok but picking my vehicle up a week later wasn't a very good experience. The driver was nice and helpful but after getting our luggage and waiting for my vehicle wasn't that great. I waited about 20 minutes and finally I heard a honk and instead of running it in the building like they did everyone else's vehicle mine was parked out front half way up a hill in front of their pick up area. I couldn't hardly believe why mine got parked up a hill outside when others were parked in the building. There was only 3 cars parked in their pick up area. Here I had two heavy and large suitcases and a couple of carry ons and no one here to help me with them. I and my friend pulled all of our luggage up the hill and loaded into my vehicle. I took a couple of pictures with my camera so I had proof and was going to call later to the manger to complain. I decided after a minute or two to go down and ask the clerk why my vehicle got parked so far away from the building. Her reply was, " we have 30 vehicles to get moved up here and were short of help." Being short of help was not my problem. Why don't they have more help lined up when peak times appear. They know when they are going to have a lot of flights come in because they ask you when your returning flight will be in. What a crock!! They have a good thing going if they had more help and not such a rude receptionist. I was referred from a friend to use this place and as soon as I get back to work I will inform her of the poor service that I received yesterday. I heard the parking spot is very good with good reviews. I usually park out in the public parking where a bus lets you off. I decided to pay more and use this place but I guess that will have to change in the future. It is sad this place has a great concept but if they do not change their ways they won't have any customers in the future. I read some of the negative reviews and after reading about the vehicle damage and theft I won't be back for sure. As you can see by the pictures there was only 2 cars in the covered area. I hope the owner looks at these once in a while and maybe some changes will happen. I rather doubt it with all of the negative reviews already posted on google.
Almost hate to give this place a good review because I don't want the secret to get out! 😆
My favorite feature is that my car is brought to me (running and warm in the winter) when I get home from my travels. I barely have to walk fifteen feet from the bus to my car. And with my frequent parking program, I'm all paid up so I don't have to wait in any lines.
My only complaint is that there isn't more indoor parking available, even when I make a reservation. Five stars if I could be guaranteed indoor parking.
