Sleep Inn Kansas City Airport (MCI)

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.



The only issue was that they are currently working on the hot water, which left me with a cold shower this morning.

Nice, clean and friendly staff except for the late night guy. Reasonably priced for area as well.

This Sleep Inn has been my go to for a place to sleep after a late arrival flight because of its location close to the airport. I have noticed it going downhill a bit in the last couple of years in regard to cleanliness and upkeep. I’m not ready to find a new hotel quite yet, but I am starting to look at other options.

It was very nice, had everything you could need! Clean and priced good. Comfortable bed and good shower. Also have park and ride options for extended stay.

I settled into my room literally three minutes before writing this review, I have to say. Jennifer went absolutely above and beyond for me, my boyfriend, and our three pets. We had to sit in the lobby for a little bit and the pets are not quiet, and she helped us move our stuff to a table to sit and then to our room. I feel welcomed here and it’s really nice.

Very clean. Nice room at a very good price. The shower was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

Not bad for the price, could be a little cleaner in some of the corners, typical covid restrictions no hot breakfast and pool wasn't open when we were there. They have a shuttle to and from the airport though.

Privately owned property, so if you’re looking for a corporate chain through Choices then this specific location isn’t it.



Staff is friendly and professional for a family owned hotel business. Housekeeping staff needs some refresher training (maybe some deep cleaning during their slower days).



Breakfast consist of biscuits and gravy with yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. The breakfast menu doesn’t change so brace yourself or there’s always Cracker Barrel or Waffle House😂😆🫶🏽🙌🏽

The staff is superb, Very friendly and helpful, Lobby area is very comfortable and inviting, General manager Dylva and her husband Rick are the backbone of the business and treat every guest with professionalism and respect. The front desk girls and guys are amazing, just absolutely love this place, for sure my go to destination if in need of a nice comfortable and clean room for business trips or family vacations in the metro area, Thank you sleep Inn. Close proximity to KC airport and they do have long term parking with a shuttle at a very reasonable price. Nice property to stay at. I didn't appreciate the attitude I got from three different employees when asking about different things. I even had one refuse to get me a cup of water, after I had already checked out of my room, so that I could take meds. They definitely need to relearn what hospitality means.

It was good; everything was comfortable. Because of COVID, they weren’t doing traditional breakfasts. Instead, they gave us brown paper sacks of food and water bottles. The biggest thing that stuck out was that the front desk lady offered me formula for my baby. I have never had (or even heard of) that happen. They truly went above and beyond what was expected or necessary.

Quick check in. Found parking right in front of the main door. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was super comfy. Great deal for a night and get to the airport early. Close to the airport.

Rooms are smaller and have a few minor repairs needed however overall it was good for the price.



Staff are friendly and immediately help with any need.



Pool is clean as are all chairs and tables.



Breakfast is great, lots to choose from. Coffee is always available, hot and good.



Easy parking, easy of and on to the highway. Near KCI airport.

Great place to stay near the Kansas City Airport! Inexpensive, but the rooms seem safe enough and are very comfortable. The shuttle starts running early, and it takes less than 10 minutes to reach your gate! The only drawback with the location is that the hotel is not really an easy walk from restaurants or convenience stores, so if you're getting dropped off, bring dinner with you; if you've got a car, no problem.

Clean, quiet, and very nice stsff. I'm enjoying my time here recovering from surgery.

It's always quiet no matter how full it is. Best place to get some sleep. Front desk employees are always helpful. Especially Tina. She's always courteous and makes sure that your stay is a good one

Best sleep ever. If NyQuil was a hotel it would be this place. Me and my girlfriend slept like we didn’t know was. I should’ve took the pillows home with me.

Reasonably priced, clean and good area. Also pet friendly with reasonable pet fee.

Second room smelled really clean and was way better. Beds are comfortable.

Love these guys! Rooms are nice and reasonably priced, the staff is very very helpful, and their shuttle driver was hilarious and friendly!! Great group of people.

Just because they don't wear a suit a tie please don't assume that it won't be a business stay. If they walk in with mixed company please don't assume they are there to pop bottles and bleep bleep.

Understanding that all companies have precautionary procedures to follow I can only hope that the rudeness our lead was met with by the night clerk and their insinuation that he had stolen the company card showed a lack in customer service abilities.



The third floor had a strong hint of recent cigarette smoke in a building that clearly states no smoking with in 8 feet of the building.



It was stated in the guest handbook that there was breakfast starting at 6 and ending at 9. When out on business it is common to enjoy the morning briefing time over coffee and at the least a light breakfast.



Working away from home can be difficult as can be expected and we look for hotels that have the same views on keeping America's employees happy even though they can not be where they are happiest.



I am sadden to say that this was not one of them.



I still give five stars because I know that even though we may not be staying a second time I am not here to keep customers away but with the hope that others are able to enjoy the amenities that were advertised or at the least not be disappointed by the lack there of.



The morning shift clerk was extremely personable even though she had the job of disappointing the customers with the news of no breakfast. Honestly that alone deserves five stars.

i stay here often . it's cool calm and collect . decently clean :) never had no gross problems like bugs or dirt or hair .

Stayed here for one night everything was as expected. The room was clean. Nice TV and mini fridge. The bathroom was clean. Most importantly the bed here was comfortable.

I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive after booking a room & then found a review site. Upon arrival, we were very pleasantly surprised! The parking area & lobby were very nice & even the floors were polished! The young man who checked us in was very courteous! The elevator is extra large which is nice when you are using a rolling rack. The hallways were clean, I did smell a faint odor of marijuana, but that is pretty much everywhere now. The bed was very comfy, we usually have a King bed, but this one was great & the bed linens were nice. Very soft. The only thing I would have wished for was a bathtub /shower combo. We only had a shower but it had a modern look & very clean. Overall, we got a great price online through a booking site & this is a very great value!! We honestly do not understand the recent poor reviews. We do recommend this Sleep Inn near KCI Airport & we will definitely stay again!

They offer long term airport parking here with a shuttle and much cheaper than other lots on the airport. Highly recommend, as long as my car is there tomorrow when I return.

Decent place to rest. You can stay and fly out. They do have a shuttle bus to get you to the airport

I’m seeing lots of mixed reviews with this property. For me the room was very clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the coffee in the room check in was pleasant and they were very patient because I did not have a reservation and I had trouble with the Choice Privileges app it would not make the reservation for me they allowed me to make a phone call so I could get a cheaper price from Choice Privileges they have a free airport shuttle. They were kind enough to drop me off for breakfast at Cracker Barrel which save me five dollars. I highly recommend this property. The only negative I could see was a lobby area was a little tired and slightly dusty. But the room was very clean and very comfortable I will return

This is a nice hotel for under $100. Beds were soft and comfy. Shower was nice and clean bathroom. Also I got to do my laundry there so that was nice.

Didn't get to enjoy the pool unfortunately. It was closed. ☹️

Overall it was a good experience, room had most amenities, front desk was awesome, the towels covered your body,it was a no smoking hotel but my comforter had a burn hole on it,and the early morning shuttle driver was very rude,seemed like he would rather be don't something else,other than that...you might wonder how to close the bathroom door as my finger demonstrates the hook you pull out ...

For a cheaper stay, this is very nice. Clean, no bugs, basic few frills sleep inn experience. Sleep Inns do not have bath tubs, at least in my experience. Would happily stay here again. Diamond member can get 1pm checkout.

It's a very nice hotel very clean your rooms are nice bed sheets are clean and modern only Quirk I have is that it didn't have a door on the bathroom other than that, everything else is nice and I don't know if it has a vending machine either I might have to go check but it's a nice place to sleep is a nice place if you need somewhere to live as well so far the staff has been pretty nice. I gave it 4out of 5 stars because it doesn't have a door on the bathroom and the bathroom is really small shower is small too.
