Travelodge (MCI)

I recently needed a place to stay while waiting for an apartment to be renovated in the Platte City area. This hotel offered reasonable weekly rates, which was great. The hotel is located right off the highway but within walking distance to downtown Platte City and also close to other retail stores. The staff and housekeeping were exceptional, attentive , warm and friendly. I highly recommend it for the price and for the friendly staff. Room was very clean and larger than any other hotels I have stayed at in the past of similar price and value.

It's not expensive, you can park a truck with 53 feet trailer , and the ice machine works. The beds and curtains in the room are new, and other things such as Windows, mirrors, lamps, chairs, etc. are old but looks clean.Have discount for truckers!

Well, after reading some reviews I must say I'm quite surprised

This motel was awesome. Reasonably priced, had a fridge in room and stove, dishes in cabinets. Loved it. Breakfast was good

The staff was courteous and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with great water pressure in the shower. There are some renovations being done but it didn’t affect my stay.

Room was very clean and appeared newly painted. The man at the front desk was friendly and very nice. Will definitely stay here again when in this area again.

It was a friend of mine who stayed here. And he's usually very good at knowing quality places. He seemed to be relatively happy with it.

Prices are good like the place wish they would open pool again people are friendly

The staff is very friendly, prompt, and really eager to make you happy. We requested an additional night and they made it easy and even allowed us to stay in the same room. Everything was just like you saw in the pictures and parking was great! We littlery parked directly outside of our room for easy access. Overall its a great stay, especially if your touring Weston, MO and just want to save a few bucks.



The only negative; the rooms need some updating and a little work. The drapes are from the 70s, and the rooms and bathrooms haven't been redun in years. It shows. However, we would definitely stay here again, especially for how affordable the rooms are. Thank you Travel Lodge Staff!

Immediately caught a calm and collected peaceful vibe from one of the owners when I walked through the door at 1:00 am. I booked it online a couple hours Pryer to arriving through Booking.com I believe ? One of those seamless no haggle check-ins late at night. (Welcome to our motel, hope you get some rest, thank you for choosing us. If we can get you anything, please let us know type of check-ins)..... Can't say enough good about it thus far

They didn't keep toilet paper stocked up in the rooms where people had extended stay!

I had an amazing stay and all of the staff was very friendly and the room was very good for the price. Will be coming back!

I love it here. There are a couple things, but it's quiet and staff is friendly. The microwave in our room didn't turn on the inside. Not a big deal. I stayed for over a week and only saw 2 roaches and that was when it got super cold. The main issue was the pool was closed. It needed repairs. It would have been nice to stretch muscles and get a little exercise. They have a washer and dryer really cheap you can use and the highspeed WiFi worked really good. My boyfriend was able to play his PlayStation and not lag. It was very affordable and not super far from the Northland. Great coffee. Breakfast could have had a few more options but it was ok. The room was clean and it was a smoking room, which I can rarely find these days. It's an older property kind of had the feel of being out in middle of nowhere with only being 10miles outside of Kansas City.

These people are very understanding, caring and kind people. The owners go out of their way to help you with what you may need. In our case we were very very much in a bad spot and the family that runs this hotel agreed upon and helped us out in ways that I cannot express. I thank you all very much. Will definitely stay again and will definitely keep them in my mind and heart superb human beings.

For $55 per night, this place was great. It's clean enough; more than the price would suggest.It's near food, drinks and groceries. The staff was polite and had offered an airport shuttle.

Was a good place to stay. Check in stunk, cuz we had to stand in the entryway cuz it was after hours and it was freezing cold out.

Was nice to park and go right into the room. Thankfully didn't have to go into the hallway and get anything or do anything but only once; cuz stunk so bad of cigarettes it was disgusting. Checked in the key in the lobby in the morning and didn't bother to check for breakfast or anything cuz smelled so bad couldn't even stand it. That part was awful. Otherwise, room was nice and smelled fine. Was a decent place to stay for that part of it anyway.

We found this hotel after refusing the horrible hotels in Kansas City. The desk staff was polite, friendly and efficient. They had a reasonable price for the room and pets. The room was bigger than the last three hotels I stayed in and was clean! Overall, would definitely stay again.

Clean rooms, okay staff, and affordable. We've been here on half a dozen trips now and will continue to return. Our only complaint is that they need better pillows or at least provide more per room.

Not as new as of other corporate franchised owned motels. But well keep for it age and the settle ground it says on. The works, free wifi?, free continental breakfast, maid, pool, and much more

The people who is operating it now are very friendly, honest, and helpful in serving there guess with hospitality, and great information skills of the Mid West & Platte County. As well as making sure your comfortable with your stay.

Very friendly staff, and very quick check in. Rooms are pretty standard rooms we had laminate flooring as we had a pet with us. (Pet friendly. Lil extra charge. Needs were comfy but pillows could be updated and that's the only complaint I can give. Great value!

Good solid place. Older, but great tv and channels.
