This is truly an outstanding property. From the moment we were greeted upon entering, until checkout, we had a perfect stay. The entire property is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable we have ever experienced! There is wonderful dining right in front. (McCormick & Schmidt’s was excellent)
We attended the Peter White smooth jazz concert, right at the hotel and was a lovely intimate experience. There also a complimentary shuttle to & from the airport too.
Stayed at Loews for 1 night for wedding being held at Cafe Lacave.
Modern amenities. But especially loved the comfort the mattress, comforter and pillows. Got in at around 1:00 a.m. Slept like a baby getting up at 7:00 a.m. Also loved the stand up shower (no tub). Great large shower rain head.
Can't go wrong at this Loews!!
The rooms were clean the service was quick and efficient.. expect when I left I realized I had left my favorite white nightgown in the room. I called them back they promised to look for it and will call me back. They never did I had to call them back three times which is when they told me they didn’t find it.. which I find strange because I know for sure I left it in the room.Shame that it took me several phone calls that their staff never made an attempt to reach out to me. I know for a fact that I left my gown in the room. Please be careful at check out. I liked the hotel and was asking my husband to book a room after we drop off our daughter but now I have checked them off my list. Honesty is important to me.. glad it was just a nightgown
Originally 1 star (edited to 4 for effort) for one reason only : their redesign includes a designer bathroom sink area with no place to lay out your travel hygiene articles in front of you at a height and level easily accessible and viewable from the stature of a regular individual. There is two small narrow upper glass and stone ledges, but even at my 5'11" standing height it is hard to deal with. As a full time traveler this is a big reason I would normally avoid. But I am stuck there again tonight. This needed a standard counter top like any other hotel for full time travel hygiene article layout. But I bet some hotel executive's child just got out of architectural design school and got the design contract. --> Edit: They added a ledge around the sink by making a table with a cutout for the sink. It is in some of the rooms now. See hand placed on new ledge for size of platform on either side of sink for personal hygiene items. Will see if they are in future stay rooms. Better but small. Someone had to fabricate these custom.
Got trapped in Chicago for a night after a cancelled flight at O’Hare. I chose Loews because it was the only thing available but I’m glad I did. The free shuttle ran 24/7 every 15min. The hotel was very pretty, the room was large and nice. Lovely bedding and toiletries. I wish I could’ve stayed more than 9 hours to enjoy it. Staff was great and the mobile check in/out was easy.
My husband and I had a quick stop at this hotel which we booked through a 3rd party site. Although it was late at night, the lady at the front desk made us feel welcome and was very efficient at the check in process! The room was intimate and decorated in beautiful Greys. The bed was soft and room service prompt as we had to catch am early flight the next day. I would definitely book again when staying in Chicago.
A bustling but quiet and charming Hotel, beautiful decor and atmosphere. Whether you are in Chicago for one night with or without plans there is always interesting events happening at Loews. Stopped in at their beautiful bar in the lobby for a drink and enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant attached to the hotel.
Lovely hotel, clean comfortable and well appointed rooms, very quiet. Next to a huge outlet mall with food options. More upscale dinning options located on the same turn around driveway as the hotel. Convenient airport shuttle every 15 minutes. Does not have a pool, I don't think, as I did not see one or signage for it in the hotel. Very nice stay, will choose this hotel again
Very nice and clean hotel! Very modern with great amenities! Bathroom toiletries are excellent! I would definitely stay here again! The only items that were needed and not available were refrigerator and microwave! Very, very nice place! Loved it!
CLEANEST hotel I have ever been to. Just felt amazing walking in the room. Usually my wife does a bed check and I do a tub check to see if anything needs changed out or cleaned before use but not here. It was amazing and I'd recommend for anyone who wants a five star experience. Thank you again, I'll be booking in any city I see them in. My favorite hotel so far and by far the most clean.
The Loews O'Hare was fabulous! Shuttle service to and from airport was incredibly convenient. Staff at front desk and assisting in hosting our corporate event were super friendly and helpful. They allowed for a very smooth set up and experience for hosts/guests. The rooms were very sleek and had strong product in the rooms, such as lotions/shampoos, great pillows and everything. Would highly recommend for anyone who is coming in town who needs an incredible place by the airport. They were also fairly close to many dining options for dinners/lunches.
Convenient location for airport travelers! I would recommend an east facing room (these rooms overlook the forest preserve and a view of downtown Chicago!). Flexible and accommodating staff, Starbucks located inside. I would come back!
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Front desk staff was absolutely fantastic. The common areas and the room were immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was quiet despite being busy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Over all nice hotel. Great location for access to the airport and fantastic food. The room had a few challenges that showed the cleaning staff may be falling short. Leftover coffee in the machine, warm refrigerator too. Kinda makes you wonder how much attention to detail was given to the room. Also, the chair in the room is actually a medieval torture device for your back.
I would try the place again knowing the short comings. Still a strong value.
Seems very nice at first but then we found an old to-go in our "fridge". Wrappers by the side of bed. 1 bottle of warm water. Then no vending for snacks or drinks. We got a delivery from a restaurant and had also walked to a gas station for drinks. Put them in fridge and then it locked on us. Guess the fridge was a mini bar that should've never opened in the first place. Now waiting on an engineer to come fix it. So that means rooms have no fridge or microwave. Disappointed with how much I had to spend on room food and drinks all together.
We asked for a wake up call when we checked in. We did not get one. Luckily we set our own alarm.
As always, when we returned, the ticket to open the gate for the parking garage didn't work. This has literally happened every time we have parked here when we travel and we see cars in front of us and next to us at the gate experience the same problem. It is not worth the hassle anymore.
Great room, clean and had all the basic amenities you want. Good water pressure in the shower. They also had a shuttle service every 15 minutes. My only complaint is the walls are so thin that I can hear the neighbors talk and even heard their alarm in the morning!
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very nice and kind but it was the bathroom cleanliness that ruined it for me. I know this review will be taken seriously and the hotel will do all it can to fix it. It's a good place to stay. Expensive....yes but the friendly and caring staff made the stay wonderful.
Nice location convenient to airport. I wish the on site restaurants weren't so fancy; I can't imagine families wanting to spend the evening getting a $50/plate steak/seafood meal. Also, lots of hair in the hotel room makes me feel like it wasn't very clean.
Throughout my stay here, I received phenomenal service. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful it was refreshing. The hotel seemed clean and that the staff take pride in their place. We took advantage of their park sleep fly program and the shuttle drivers went above and beyond.
My only note would be that we made the mistake of opening the fridge and someone had left their half drank coffee which then caused the room to smell rancid for a small time.
Loved my stay here, great experience, wonderful welcoming staff. I only stayed one night but they made sure I was comfortable. They still offer room service. The place has a modern feel, very clean comfortable rooms all necessary supplies were available in the room. Maintenance guy (mike?)is wonderful he made sure I knew where to find everything and was very friendly and welcoming. I will make sure to stay here on future travels. Oh AND they have complimentary shuttle service from the airport!! Awesome!
Park and Fly. Room better than average. Parking MUCH cheaper than OHare. They have fast, efficient shuttles and we just called after getting our bags and the shuttle was there 10 min later.
Would 100% stay here again and do this.
Pro Tip: book on Park and Fly website
Make and account but don't book right away
Then a short time later you get a coupon emailed. Worked perfectly.
Overall, me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay during these trying times. Great location (near the fashion outlets), great service, and a great spacious room with a view over the airport. People should understand and comprehend that hotels are doing the best they can for each and every guest with security and safety in mind. Thank you Loews for making my anniversary very enjoyable during these trying times!!! :)
Lovely hotel. Capital Grille and McCormick and Schmick right there for dinner. We stay at Loews when flying out of O'Hare using their Stay, Park, and Fly option. Shuttles every 15 minutes. Great way to start a trip.
held a group event here and hotel and staff were very professional and took care with all planning details to ensure the group was safe during COVID. Thank you Loews staff for the outstanding service during this pandemic.
FYI: I stayed at the Loews in downtown Chicago NOT this one. I don't not know why it says the one by O'Hare, it was not..
Nice room BUT human hair (not mine) all over room when we walked in. So much dust also. Comfortable bed at least.
Nice hotel but it would have been nice to have a vending machine or two.
This is a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. The room was spectacular and the food from the kitchen is amazing.

Me and my family stayed at Loews over the past weekend and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious, king size bed very comfortable, bathroom was clean with a standing shower. Staff was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back.
Great bar and restaurant, open later than nearby Capitol grille or McCormick and schmicks, and the food and cocktails are quite tasty. This place has become a go-to when hungry after a flight.
The check-in and room were fantastic, but I have to give a shout out to Adrian in security! I called the hotel to find a stuffed toy our daughter had left behind. He personally went up to the room, found it and mailed it to us. We cannot thank you enough! Will absolutely stay here again.
We just stayed at Lowe's and we weren't overly impressed. We didn't get our full package whick included breakfast both days and valet parking. No valet and the restaurant was closed. We weren't told in advance. We were given a $65 per day breakfast credit but we were charged an $11 a day service fee. Not our fault their restaurant was closed
Thank you for exceeding all expectations this visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Hospitality great in all areas as well. Thank you!
Nice hotel near the convention center and ORH airport. Shuttle service to/from the airport worked great. Large, clean, modern rooms. Plenty of dining choices nearby and within walking distance.
Definitely one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel, my booking was changed due to Covid so I ended up arriving to the hotel at 8 am but they were still able to let me check in early! One the more flexible hotels I've stayed at, would recommend!
Had to find a hotel where my son could park his car and stay for one night before flying back home from Purdue for the weekend. Because I was paying for him with my credit card they had to send A form for me to fill out and send back in. The front desk people were great and helpful my son stayed one night and didn’t have a problem parking his car. The shuttle service took him to the airport and back. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and especially a son or daughter staying at a hotel by themself for the first time.
We stayed here before catching a very early flight. The rooms were very nice. The shuttle ran every 20 minutes and got us to the airport promptly. We loved our stay so much we plan to fly out of Chicago from here on out so we can stay at this hotel again!
Great hotel with great service, I will definitely stay here again when I visit Chicago, it’s near the metro that takes you into the city!
This was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and clean. There are two resturants right at the front of the hotel, and you are within walking distance to the outlet mall and the theater. The food at the hotel is very good as well as the drinks. Here's the thing I'm not sure how the servers divide which tables the wait on. The service is a little slow and too many people are coming to check on you and taking your order, its a little confusing and slows the process, other than that definitely going to stay there agian.
Nice hotel for a late night stranded passenger. Rooms are clean and well appointed. 8 minute shuttle back to the airport to continue the journey.
First time visiting Chicago this past weekend. Sadly, my experience was dimmed after an encounter w/ Manager Nick Madia over the phone prior to my check-in. Not sure what type of day he was having, but his communication and tone were poor and unwarranted. No guest should ever be spoken to as if they are incompetent and/or incapable of understanding. Despite this unfortunate exchange, the rooms and grounds are nice and well kept...a bit dusty inside and surrounding the in room coffee machine. Special thanks to Natalie who assisted me w/ my check-in upon arrival. She was phenomenal! She provided me w/ Five Star service!
This fine hotel host Smooth Jazz Chicago monthly w/ appearances by popular artists and local talented musicians.
The Phil Seed Fusion Band performed Saturday night Feb. 1, 2020 with two shows 6pm & 9pm. Walter English lll, my son, is the bands keyboard player. This is a nice intimate venue to enjoy great music in all seating areas ! Recommended.
The BEDS! Oh my gosh, the beds. You just melt into them. Five stars. It is also a classy joint. And the prices are more than fair for what you get.
As always, on site restaurant is more than adequate for dining in or late night room service.
Make sure you ask about parking validation (I didn't). As I left the parking garage, I noticed, in addition to the spots where you insert the parking ticket and credit card, there was a spot to insert a 'Validated Parking Ticket'. This would have saved me thirty bucks. I reccomend you ask about it upon check in.
Newly remodeled in the lobby! Beautiful beach! Great Argentinean Steakhouse, Japanese, Thai and Sports bar! Very friendly staff! Love this hotel!
Beautiful hotel and very relaxing. Only issue is some staff were a little off in terms of customer service. But overall worth the price.
Hotel was very clean and nice on the inside with a cozy lobby. Service was excellent, the workers were very nice and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only problem was the lack of a microwave or fridge in the room. Also, if you are staying with multiple people, be aware the bathroom doesn't have a lock on it, it's just a sliding door. Google says they have free breakfast, but that's not true. Overall a good stay! The airport shuttle was really convenient.
Great hotel! Love the Capital Grill which is literally attached to the building and the rooms were wonderful and large. Super convenient to the airport. Bartenders and restaurant manager were all wonderful in the hotel bar.
Very nice room and building. Great service too. Had a minor billing issue and they fixed it, no problem. Nice restaurant located inside. There are also several dining and drinking locations nearby as well as shopping and entertainment. Highly recommend
Great hotel. Covered parking, easy check-in, nice bar area, nice sundries and coffee shop. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Airport shuttle is good. Tons of dining options close by. Enjoy!
Great hotel. Rooms are well appointed, hotel has a very nice design, staff friendly and helpful. Great location near the airport. Most importantly for me the bed was very comfortable. Had a great night sleep. The bar was very good - I ordered an old fashion, a simple drink yet one easy to not get right but they did a great job. Breakfast was good and the service was outstanding. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful hotel and wonderful experience overall for our work conference. Very comfortable and accommodating for a large group. One issue we had was with the technology which I think was not necessarily the fault of the hotel but the tech team managing the projection of the videos and sound during the conference continued to have problems all day. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Davis Family Reunion at this location was awesome! Meet-n-greet hospitality food/drink bar was dynamite. Plus, Independence night fireworks seen from hotel was fantastic. It was all about location, locartion... The best Reunion hosted ever.
Great property with phenomenal staff. All staff members I encountered were friendly and courteous. What is more important, all staff had their head up and eyes roaming. This is important from a customer service experience and expectation because they are quick to greet you, and anticipate a question or lost customer.
The facilities are adequate and plenty large to host multiple engagements. This includes hallways, restrooms, meeting locations, etc.. never did I feel cramped. Speaking of facilities, the room was quite nice and was also spacious. I really liked the large mirror in the foyer because it allowed me to get ready nicely and neat.
Usually I get names this time I was to peeved to care. When we arrived there were 2 desk clerks ( a male and a female). First neither greeted us, we had to greet them ( bad start) my eyebrows are already going up. The male responds I'm with a guest, they were imaginary (not at the counter), the female looks us up and down then says do you have a reservation? Seriously it's almost midnight, (no we don't we were wondering do you know Jesus.) We check in and go to our upgraded room, with a view of the parking deck out back.
Anyway, the hot ham sandwich we ordered was cold, the chips were doused in pepper, otherwise it was a good stay. We didn't go to the restaurant in the hotel however it looked swanky. The valet kept making my friends move their car while they were waiting for us to come downstairs, must note according too my friends they let others park in the spot they moved them from.
Final impression, nice hotel, staff needs cultural diversity training.
Overall it was a nice visit. Check-in was super easy after booking on Priceline. Our room was comfy and had plenty of free toiletries. We called for knives since the restaurant pizza I drove to pick up wasn't cut. They were quick and courtesy. We were taken by shuttle to airport, everything was great.
Excellent experience! Has a 14 day park and fly service. Shuttle service every half hour through the night every fifteen minutes during the day. The bus was clean and very comfy, driver was very friendly. We were able to painlessly shuttle to O'Hare at 3:30 A.M. Staff behind the desk were cheerful couldn't complain. Room was clean and comfortable.
Had a very nice stay here. Room was nice, outlet mall within easy walking distance if that interests you. Had Sunday breakfast buffett which has a huge assortment of items. Eggs Benedict were delicious. Minus one star because check-in woman barely looked at us.
Excellent hotel with very new and clean amenities and a modern feel.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful with any requests.
It’s also a very short distance from the airport. If you are looking for a place closer to downtown, this won’t be your hotel as the commute into the city during work days can be an hour or more- weekends it’s about 20 minutes.
Very nice hotel. Very clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Has a park & fly program. On site restaurant was very good. Shuttle service was efficient and got us to the airport on time. Also very close to the Chicago Outlet Shops and Rivers Casino
