This was a fantastic one-night option! I got a fantastic rate on the room and it is an airport hotel so I will be taking that into account in writing my review. Knowing that it’s an airport hotel and most guests only stay for one or two nights, this was a great stay! This John Portman-designed hotel is absolutely beautiful and sparkling. I manage a commercial cleaning company so I am well-versed in cleanliness standards and procedures. I can tell you for a fact, the rooms and the hotel itself are super clean. Not only that, but the rooms are modern and cozy with great amenities. My only gripes are that the bottles of water in the rooms are $4 a pop, the showers are very small, and the in-house restaurant/convenience store are very very expensive. Other than that, I would highly recommend this as one of the best options in the area.

My flight was delayed ended up stranded in Chicago airline paid for my hotel however cab sent me to wrong hotel ended up at this hotel spent over an hour on phone with airline trying to get them to switch my voucher to this hotel only for them to tell me go back to airport to get it fixed. Spoke to assistant manager at the hotel Haylee she got in contact with United and within 10 minutes it was switched!! Great customer service she saved my night because I was about to lose it! Hotel is nice! Bed was super comfy!

This is a nice hotel. I went here while I was in Chicago and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into the hotel and checked in at the front desk, where I got my room key. I went up to the room and was greeted by two comfy beds, and a nice, clean bathroom. I dropped off my suitcases in the room and went to downtown Chicago. After that, I came back to my hotel and fell asleep. I spent multiple nights here, so I did this each day. When my stay ended, I checked out and left the hotel, satisfied with my experience. I gave this hotel five stars because it has nice rooms and is conveniently located right by a metro station which takes you to downtown Chicago and O’Hare Airport.

Shuttle to and from the airport is awesome. Front desk staff very kind. King room was nice. Only negative is the bathroom is a Cracker Jack box. (Very very small).

Shower space no tub extremely small. Anyone over 6ft tall won’t fit and over 170lbs.

I have visited the Hyatt twice in the last couple months for cons my daughter went to. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Using the amenities and parking garage are easy. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks inside that has small snacks and breakfast items and a higher end bar. I usually opt for the balcony rooms and they have beautiful views of the skyline.

Great clean space with better guests and lobby bar than most in area. Professional staff always ready too help. If you're in Chicago and wish to stay near the airport, this is a fine hotel to relax in a clean and safe location.

Near airport so light sleepers should bring earplugs. Rooms clean. Staff nice. Only complaint was on-site availability for meals. Breakfast restaurant was great but only open until 10:30 a.m. That left only bar food for lunch and dinner. Probably okay if only there overnight but we were there for 4 days without a car (there for convention). Close to train. Easy access to downtown.

Overall good- rooms and hotel were clean, staff was nice.

Pros-

- shuttle to and from the airport as well as the nearest bus station

- clean rooms and nice decor

- good location to be able to get to and from the city and to the airport

- the “proudly serving Starbucks” location downstairs was really good

Improvements-

- the mini fridge was not cold enough for food and was labeled to be used for drinks only, no microwave either

- the breakfast offerings weren’t great. If you paid the $22 for breakfast it was more of a sit down environment and they didn’t have classic waffles/pancakes. Every other Hyatt in the area offers complimentary breakfast.

- bathroom fan didn’t work

- on property food offerings could be better

- no grocery type store in walking distance

The rooms in the "main area" feel a bit outdated but are fairly clean. The premiere tower's rooms are more modern at the cost of paying a tad bit more and depending on the time of year or day can be a fair bit noisier than the regular rooms. I usually stay here when attending nearby conventions and would recommend the premier tower rooms over the regular ones. They're more modern and have a fair bit more space than the regular rooms which in my opinion more than makes up for the price and occasional noise issues.

Clean, efficient, helpful! Room has noise machines, which was perfect for the proximity to the airport. Once it was turned on, we couldn't even notice the outside sounds. We stayed here during a large conference. The hotel was packed but the staff was still available, with little to no wait. Breakfast buffet was good for an in and out meal! No real food options nearby until after 5pm.

The renovated tower rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. I especially like that there is no carpet which adds to the cleanliness (there are some rugs). There are convenient dim motion-activated lights under the beds so you don't have to turn on lights when waking in the middle of the night.

Other perks: Conveniently located near O'Hare Airport and there's a shuttle that runs every 15 mins, even at late/early hours. Can use your cellphone as a room key.

There was an issue of them giving our king bed room away to someone else and we ended up in a 2-bed room but they compensated us w/ a $50 room credit. In other areas their service was great, they delivered toothpaste and makeup wipes to our room.

Good hotel. Good breakfast buffet for $21. However, not even a free bottle of water for paying guests (restricted to elite members only). Drinking water fountains or bottle refill stations are also not visible in the hotel.

The complementary airport shuttle service is good and frequent. Except that between 1pm and 5 pm it's not complementary.

Rooms are spacious with windows from top to bottom, super comfortable bed, AC is working great. Big tv. The only thing I was disappointed with was the tiny bathroom. There was no space to put my cosmetic bag.

Good breakfast, very attentive servers.

Restaurant is ok, food was good, came out fast.

Easy to find parking space, cost is 34 dollars per night. There is a nearby park to take a walk and relax.

Fast Check-In, impeccably clean rooms, humongous lobby area and the crisp, white, pristine sheets. This is a Phenomenal Hotel to lay your head. I'm a Airline Crew Member so I stay, in many accommodations. Hyatt Regency O'HARE, you are BY FAR THE BEST!! Thank You to your whole TEAM!! C. Jackson

I love this Hotel. I have been here twice in 2 months for special occasions. The hotel is beautiful, and the ballrooms are very nice. Customer service is excellent, staff are friendly and courteous, and the food was delicious. I hope to continue to return to this venue.

Beautiful hotel. We had a great customer service experience. Our room was really nice & clean for the most part (the bathroom faucet looked like it had been sprayed but then never wiped/polished.) The food we ordered from Perks was tasty, yet on the pricey side. I appreciated the bell hop gentleman helping us bring our luggage to our room. The aesthetics of the hotel, especially the grandiose lobby, were beautiful and rather impressive.

The Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago continues to be one of the best options for events, conferences, and lodging in the midwest. I enjoy coming back here each year for our denomination’s (Evangelical Covenant Church) annual ministry conference. The rooms are nice, the staff are polite, and the hotel is aesthetically appeasing. It’s also very clean! I look forward to returning January 2023!

Spent two nights here for a training even for work. There are two restaurants in the hotel and one grab and go store that offered hot and cold food which can be delivered to your room for a fee. The hotel has a 1970's feel with the architecture and design feel in the hallways. Bed was comfortable, tv was huge, and room was clean! I would give it five stars but the location leaves something to be desired.

This hotel is conveniently located near O'Hare and offers free round-the-clock shuttle service to the airport. You can also park free for seven days with the special park/sleep/fly rate, which is extremely convenient. Check-in is generally quick and painless. The rooms are very clean and decently sized. There are restaurants on-site, but they're pretty expensive. I'd give this place five stars if breakfast was included with all rate packages.

Update: The "Executive Tower" received a massive upgrade in 2020 thru 2021. The standard rooms. Well, let's say the minimalist design may look good on paper, but... The couch is against the window wall. So to close the drapes, you need to climb on the couch. You hit a wall walking in the room door, and if you have a cart or large luggage you have to go partially into the bathroom while the door closes before you can get in the room. The tum is narrower. The floors were not installed correctly. There's no dressers. Seriously. You have two shallow drawers by the bathroom.

Great convention hotel. If you want quiet, you want the "Executive Wing" - that's the addition and is furthest from the hotel lobby and events. Staying IN the main part of the hotel, most of the rooms are off the atrium. This is a giant echo chamber, and the rooms can be noisy because of that. The tower rooms are interesting but there are no bathtubs - only smaller showers. You DO NOT want the main floor of the tower rooms. These are extremely noisy because all sounds carry from the parking lot and smoking area that are directly beneath those rooms. The rest of the tower rooms are quiet, but access is via stairs only.

My family and I arrive in Chicago late and after custom clearance, our flight to Houston was gone and there were no other flights until the following day. So we decided to stay at the Hyatt an it was WONDERFUL. Great location, Nice, clean and spacious rooms. The hotel itself was extremely nice. Front desk staff was very professional and welcoming.

I stayed here for 3 nights during a business meeting and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff here was courteous and they were very organized. I loved how open the lobby area was, which promoted a social environment. The only improvement I’d make is the food. The quality wasn’t there property wide, especially for the cost.

What an excellent hotel! The staff was so attentive and shared exactly how everything worked. Due to status, we received an upgrade and were so pleased with the fantastic room and views we had. Enjoyed breakfast the next morning in the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic (buffet style with an omelet bar). Highly recommended - this hotel went above and beyond in service and amenities!

Superb hotel, close to the airport and train stop, complimentary shuttle every 15 minutes. Checkin process can be lengthy but staff goes out of their way for guests. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff was friendly and prompt and food was great. All around terrific stay, and constantly promotes a positive experience each time.

5 stars only for Andrew at the front desk-so accommodating and sweet, such a lovely and intelligent presence!

If not for Andrew I would have given 3 stars. Our bed was not made (no duvet cover or fitted sheet, just a top sheet) and no room service available. Had it not been for Andrew, our first night of our honeymoon would have been just “meh”. I certainly hope most of what we paid goes to his raise.

This place is the best! Thanks for the memories and best service ever. Location was a 10 for us. Staff is above and beyond (Thanks Ina PN for the hospitality). I wouldn't have expected that level of service while passing through Chicago but I have to admit that you guys killed it this past weekend. Many THANKS and hope to stay again soon! Cheers.

Stayed recently for a conference. Good stay overall. Comfortable and clean rooms. Housekeepers do a WONDERFUL job and were friendly. Elevators get backed up because 2 of the 4 didn't work the whole week.

Decent food options in the hotel but limited options in walking distance - all high priced tourist traps. $20 breakfast buffet is steep but not surprising for the area (good omelets!). Front desk staff are helpful and friendly. You could do worse if needing to stay right next to O'Hare, but if you're here for the "City" of Chicago, I'd look elsewhere.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I am literally shocked at how sparkling clean this hotel is for its massive size. I am flight crew and half my life is spent at hotels. I honestly think this is the best hotel that I have stayed at for cleanliness. All the carpets look like they were just put in yesterday, there is not a single spot anywhere on the premises that I saw. You can tell your room has been cleaned very well and nothing appears as if it were rushed to be cleaned. Gloria M was my gal, and she left a note in my room. I definitely gave kudos in the form of an email when I logged onto the Internet. Nice friendly staff and it’s always a pleasure to come back here. Thank you for everything!

I really enjoyed this place. Great location and the staff was so helpful to me when I stayed during the winter. Quick walk to the Blue Line and shopping and dining. The lobby is amazing and the rooms aren't that bad either. The only thing that I would change is the bathroom. It felt really small for the room I got but i'm not high maintenance so it didn't really bother me. Worth the stay and time and money!!

Rooms are nice and relatively updated. Beds were comfortable. We had an issue with a neighboring guest that the staff took care of for us perfectly. You could tell they wanted to make things right and knew the best way to go about it. We greatly appreciated the service provided us. This was a park and fly stay for us and it all went smoothly. Would stay here again for concerts or another trip.

I'm a flight attendant and I have stayed in pretty much every hotel in Chicago with an airport shuttle and this is hands down my favorite! The thing that makes it extra special to me are the staff. They are so friendly and helpful, and they always go above and beyond whenever they can! I have stayed here many times and have never had a bad experience. If my parents needed a hotel near the airport I would not let them stay anywhere but here.

Beautiful and clean hotel close to the airport. When our flight home was canceled, we were able to get a room here very quickly and could not have been happier. The 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport is so helpful and I couldn’t be more appreciative of the service. I would definitely stay here again.

PS: There is also a great outlet mall nearby within walkable distance that has a fantastic selection of stores to shop at and pass time.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet always has a nice spread, the gentlemen behind the Red Bar is one of the nicest bartenders I've ever talked to. My only complaint is I booked a room for five nights a week before I needed to be there, less than 24 hours before I'm supposed to check in I get a phone call stating that they overbooked rooms and needed to cancel my reservation. They did offer to relocate me to the Hilton next door, which I greatly appreciate. They also gave me a good amount of world of Hyatt points. But I stand behind my word when I say that I should have noticed their system error sooner than 18 hours before I was supposed to check in.

Best location if you are exhibiting or visiting Rosemont Convention Center, rooms are clean, friendly Staff, relaxing atmosphere though it's close to the Airport... But the rooms are properly sound proof. Loved everything about this hotel, nothing bothered me during my stay.

Had a good experience at this hotel. It’s at a convenient location from O’Hare airport. They have shuttles running continuously from to and fro. It’s at a walking distance from the factory outlet mall and also the convention center. Do check it out if you’re staying there for a while. They have a renovated section of the hotel with much nicer rooms. I recommend requesting them for a room in that area of the hotel. I got a room when I checked in early evening.

Really great hotel, very close to the airport. the staff was helpful and friendly. The bar food was pretty good all though it was expensive but that is to be expected from a airport hotel bar. the shuttle staff was always on time and the valet staff was amazingly nice and helpful to friends that came to visit me. The TVs in the rooms are HUGE. i would highly recommend this hotel to anybody needing a place to crash for a few nights

Nicole is/was absolutely a joy to work with. She ensures a professional, fast, efficient, and courteous experience each time during our stays. I stay here often for work. Not only is the staff amazing - HUGE PROPS TO DANIEL at check in for going above and beyond for me- but the entire visit often feels like I’m at a resort. Beautiful property that has all you need. Close to many attractions and a short ride downtown. I have enjoyed every stay. If you can - spring for a suite- they’re amazing. Thank you Daniel and everyone at the red bar for treating me like a queen.

The room was comfortable and clean. Did the park and fly with the stay on return night. Shuttles were timely and drivers friendly. Our room was tucked back in a corner of the 10th floor, and there was still some noise (doors slamming,) in the hallway after midnight. Good breakfast buffet in morning.

I was there for a banquet dinner, which was excellent food.

The service was pretty lousy, but the food made up for the terrible service.

First, we got a Mediterranean salad, which was okay, but the bread (cold and hard) came to the table about 10 minutes after we got the salad. Why?!?

The Fillet Mignon was excellent. Medium Rare, like it should be, and melts in the mouth.

The Oreo Cheesecake was delicious.

I came to a wedding here and the venue is beautiful, the entire hotel is breathtaking. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and quite strong, the staff was amicable and the overall atmosphere left me wanting to book an event there myself. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert, the music and the service was top of the line. Wonderful job!

Great park and fly stay. Incredibly helpful staff. Clean, quiet and spacious room. The nicest, massive 96” TV screen we’ve ever had in a hotel room. There was a Samba event going on in the biggest ballroom but we never heard any noise. Fantastic shuttle service to the airport which is a 3 minute ride from the hotel. Very happy with our stay!

What an amazing remodel! I haven't stayed here in years and booked it last minute to fly into ORD a day early for a connection to Europe. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the room. I was upgraded to a deluxe (I think that's what they called it) King in the executive wing tower. Hard surface flooring with some area rugs. A separate dressing area with luggage area and a vanity table along with a coffee station and mini fridge. Amazing bedside charging options for multiple devices. The bathroom has a full size body lotion which I really appreciate because my skin gets so dry from flying so much.

Also had a great experience grabbing a bite to eat in the lobby bar. The bartender was super pleasant and my request for a simple sautéed chicken breast was graciously accepted. A decent glass of Decoy red wine blend was only $12.50. I thought the value was great for a hotel. Especially one at a major airport.

I am a Hyatt Globalist. I converted to Hyatt a couple of years ago and this experience validates my decision to move away from another major brand. Well done Hyatt!

Hyatt globalist perspective here. Great location, free shuttle from the airport that runs pretty regularly. Very large hotel; honestly it feels very 80s but I still liked it. The hotel was very busy this weekend with a couple different events. Breakfast buffet was pretty decent, good selection and omelette bar but some food could have been hotter and cooked better. There was a globalist breakfast line so we were able to completely avoid the line and get seated quickly. Also used the globalist lounge which was very relaxing but the coffee machine in the lounge which was constantly out of milk and we had to request it to be refilled frequently. According to the front desk the housekeeping crew may not have had access to address. No big deal overall. Starbucks located in the lobby as well so that's nice. Room was pretty spacious, was located in the premiere tower. Nice view, comfortable bed. Loved that the hotel is connected to the convention center. Park with trails close by, and shopping and dining is also very close by if needed. Very good attentive staff. Overall, very enjoyable experience and I would return again.

An older hotel, the historic ambiance is appealing.

The room was small, and didn't have a microwave, but the TV and associated capabilities was exceptional. The hotel was clean and conveniently located by the airport and the mall!

Was there overnight for an important meeting held in the hotel itself. Good clean facilities near the airport, though it still takes 15-20 mins to get there. Avoids center city traffic. Not crowded - at least the time I was there. Reasonable restaurant. Rooms are good.

We hosted two events here recently, and I have to say this is the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in years. The mattresses are very thick, firm without being stiff, and I woke up rested ... a novelty for sure. Beyond the amazing bed, the staff here was excellent, friendly and efficient, the spaces are well thought out, and the proximity and walkways to the Donald E Stevens Center are very handy. We will definitely use this hotel for future events.

Very comfy and clean hotel. We were shuttled to the airport. Extremely kind staff. I noticed when I got to the airport, when checking the car seat/stroller, that I forgot our infant’s baby carrier in the room. I was so upset. I bought that carrier specifically for our trip. I called the hotel and the front desk was so helpful. They paged security to grab our baby carrier from the room we stayed in and sent the shuttle back to us to drop off. Highly recommend!!

I have been to many nice hotels throughout the U.S. but what differentiates this one is the service. From the airport shuttle to front desk to restaurants staff, everybody genuinely ensured my stay is as comfortable and accommodating as possible. The food at the bar and breakfast place is delicious. The large atrium inside is beautifulI and brings lots of light. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel close to the airport!

Stayed for a conference, location is great near many activities and food, including those in the hotel. Workout facility with nice equipment. Found the bed comfortable. Large tv in the room. Had a fridge. The shower was a bit on the small side with lower pressure than I am used to but was kept neat and clean by the staff.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and we were impressed by the well-designed room layout. However, the room was uncomfortably warm for sleeping, as we couldn't adjust the air conditioning. They did send someone who was able to adjust the unit to our liking.

The breakfast, though, seemed overpriced considering the options available. On a positive note, the staff was remarkably friendly and attentive.

It's worth mentioning that the parking is located in a garage across from the rooms. Despite the minor hiccups, our overall experience was quite delightful.

Great place for work stay on a layover in Chicago. The airport shuttle is on time, runs every 30mins. The rooms are clean and comfy. AC could be cooler and shower is low pressure. The front desk staff is awesome, the fitness center is amazing and well equipped. The bar and restaurant are very nice. Breakfast was great as well.

Very, very experienced staff and concierges. Very convenient location, right next to the O'Hare airport. The rooms are nice. Conference rooms and ballrooms are spacious. The only down side is that the little breakfast shop/café has extremely expensive breakfast items. But, I guess that's what you get in Chicago. Overall, great hotel!

Got a good price for the room when we stayed a few months ago. Transportation was close nearby and the hotel offered a shuttle bus. Great room service when we asked for extra towels. (Wedding) Kelly and Shari were incredible Superheroes! They stayed with our covid rule changes and challenges all the way through. Our second venue change turned out to be a beautiful space that accommodated all of our guests perfectly. Excellent food, melt in your mouth fillets, beautiful hotel. We can't stop getting text messages and emails telling us that was the best wedding they've ever been to! Communication is key when planning a wedding and I was so happy when I arrived to have my extra heroes coming to help me with my every need, so grateful for that! When it was all said and done seeing the smile on my daughter's face... Priceless!

The stay was worth 3 stars but if this was not during covid probably 4 or 5. With everything shut down, the only thing I can review is the room. It's nice and cozy but the bathroom is tiny and room itself too.

We had a wonderful experience. As soon as you walked through the doors you knew you wasn’t in Kansas anymore (joking) the rooms are all very nice and clean and great accommodations. Every day the maid came and made our beds in the mornings and made sure we had clean towels. Everything was also clean in the lobby’s and elevators. We visited for the anime central and had an absolute blast. We definitely will be back next year. Thank you for having us and give us a wonderful experience.

The rooms are clean and the elevator is fun to ride. Wonderful place with great architecture and plenty of parking. You can use the sky bridge to get to the parking garage and even the near by hotels and Donald's Stevenson Convenient Center.

Only stayed for one night. Got a great rate for a very nice king tower room. Sparsely, but sufficiently staffed. Free shuttle from /to the airport, but getting picked up was a bit of a nightmare. Even after calling, they never showed at Terminal 5. Best to make your way to the shuttle hub in front of the Hilton at Terminal 2 right-away. They run every 30 minutes from Door 1 there. Forgettable take-to-your room breakfast from their coffee shop (due to Corona protocol)

I think this place is cool. Right next to Rivers Casino and the outlet. Come ever year for mine and others birthday bashes. They have a shuttle bus. Looks fancy inside. Great for formal attire. Hope you like heights because this place is huge. Balconies as well if you need to step outside take in the view. Parking is too much though. Gotta park off sight or car pool. Restaurants inside. No pool.

We had a delayed flight from Munich to Chicago causing is to miss the Connecting flight home. This was the hotel offered to us by the airline (Lufthansa - about the only good thing for a first time flier). They offered us 2 rooms for a family if 4 and upon reaching the hotel, they went above and beyond by proactively upgrading is to a larger premium room with a king soz and pull out beds in couch for the kids so we did not have to be separated. They also offered to provide toll in beds but we declined....beautiful hotel, clean and welcoming. I would recommend

Using the hotel for a sleep park fly deal. Use them before always enjoyed being here. Nice place. Good staff. Decent restaurant prices aren't too bad. Close to the airport with a shuttle that runs 24 hours a day

Just an amazing room at the top of the hotel. Two level suite with lots of room.... Lots of window area with a Southeastern view towards downtown Chicago. The whole area was decorated with very beautiful Christmas lights on the trees along River Road. What was especially nice was having a Starbucks that had food to go on Thanksgiving when you can't order from restaurants!

I had such a wonderful stay here! The staff was so nice and accommodating to my needs. My room was very clean and upkept nicely. The hotel itself is beautiful and has some great dining options. The fitness center is really nice too. Location was awesome. Although it could get loud from time to time with planes landing, I was surprised at how relatively quiet it was at night. Very comfortable.

Very nice and comfortable room and easy check in. I also loved the airport shuttle service which was a nice plus. My only complaint with the room is that the shower never got hot the water was barely warm making for a horrible shower experience after I had traveled 3 hours expecting a hot shower.

Ate at the restaurant near check in and was so glad it was open late. Loved that there were a lot of healthy items and decent entrees. I was very pleased with the service and how the food tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay for the rooms and the efficient staff interactions. They lady who helped us check in was quite efficient and got us into ideal rooms.

We were all there for a convention in November (that I forgot to rate during said time) and I actually broke my arm on property when doing something stupid. The lady working during the overnight team (I believe her name was Elizabeth? Or something else like that. I was too full of adrenaline to remember much) was helpful in getting me a taxi when I was having a hard time navigating my phone with the wrong arm so I could get it looked at. Glad she was there to do that!

The whole event was great, the only problem we had was all the points for the rooms went to the wrong people. We asked to put them all under my account at check in but we're told it would be better to wait until check out. We inquired at check out as well and said we would have to contact Hyatt support to get it done. I contacted them and was told I had to wait 10 more days before we could start the process. 11 days later I called again and was told I would need to fill out 12 separate forms and get signatures and account information from all 12 people in order to get the points for the event... Needless to say, that rabbit hole was a nightmare that honestly could have been handled at check in/in the hotel before leaving.

Other than the points hullabaloo and the broken arm, Id say it was a great stay. Looking forward to coming again this year!(and getting my points 😁)

I was surprised to find a last minute award booking on the day of Anime Central, when typically it's sold out months in advance. It was only one night but I received great service and even a suite upgrade when I requested one online. The staff looked so busy with others but they treated me very respectfully as I had Globalist status at the time, and even expedited my check in. I feel for the manager who had to help bus the breakfast tables but it was a nice gesture when he upgraded my room. No complaints about the Deluxe Suite, as it was more than large enough for my needs. The best perk was by far the included garage parking and in-n-out privileges until 11:59pm of the day of check-out. I definitely saved a lot between parking and not buying overpriced food at the convention by eating elsewhere.

This is probably the most pristine hotel I've ever been in. Was here for a convention in July of this year. Hotel staff and workers were always helpful and accommodating. Bedrooms were always kept clean and beds were always made. Sleep was easy despite being so close to the airport.

Was here about 1.5 years ago but I’m just getting around to write a review now. Had to stay here for the night as my flight got pushed off until next morning. My stay was complimentary as this was the airline’s fault. A bus took everyone to the hotel. Bus was relatively easy to find. Hotel lobby was superb. Felt like I’m entering a huge mansion! My room was great. It was kept clean prior to entering. Will visit Chicago again in the near future!

I really like this hotel! It is located about 2-3 minutes from the Fashion Outlets. The staff are super nice and friendly. The hotel is big and very up to date. The rooms are clean and spacious! The rooms come equipped with a safe, mini fridge, desk, lounge chair, comfortable bed with many power outlets to charge your electronics, and a huge tv! The restrooms are nice and the shower gets super hot which is nice! I will definitely stay here again.

This is a quality hotel that provides good service for a reasonable price close to O'Hare Airport. The breakfast is superb and the staff are very attentive. They are an excellent option for park and fly, with 10 days free and a constantly running shuttle.

Update: as of August 7, 2022

Overall the place was great to stay at, especially if there is a convention at the convention center because it is right next door to the hotel. There was a conventions in town and the foods was much better than last time but, way overpriced. A good key thing to remember, is that when you enter the main entrance, the front desk is on the second floor. There are hotel shuttles to and from the airport. They do have a breakfast but, for what you get it is overpriced. I took more pictures so, you can see the hotel. There are only a handful of restaurants in walking distance from the hotel and they are steakhouses.

Not only that, but the rooms are modern and cozy with great amenities. My only gripes are that the showers are very small, and the in-house restaurant/convenience store is quite expensive. Other than that, I would highly recommend this as one of the best options in the area.

Our stay here was awesome thanks to Gigi. She was very helpful with helping us solve an minor issue. The room was spacious and clean. They have a double bed balcony options rooms. The only problem I had was the room didn’t seem to warm up past 66 degrees. Also there is no valet parking on site. They have a Starbucks on site. Also the breakfast

It's a nice hotel to stay overnight if the flight is cancelled for whatever reason. The room is nice and comfy, the staff are helpful and the airport shuttle is mostly reliable. Other than that I do not recommend getting stuck in the airport if it can be helped. Water is not complementary and you have to request a toothbrush from front desk.

Beautiful hotel. We prepaid our room and felt this worked against us when we requested an upgrade. The room was very nice but the view was of the covered parking lot. Don't think we got a premium room and we were not able to get points even though we are world of Hyatt members. Live and learn I guess.

Staff was friendly and competent. The hotel needs some charging stations without making guest hug the wall while sitting on the floor. BUT the food for lunch was horrible. Only choice was grab and go and it was terrible. Worse then airplane food and very expensive. Eat somewhere else. Why is there no restaurant open? Shuttle to airport was excellent.

Very nice hotel and very big. Nice place to stay when in chicago. The rooms are comfy and so are the beds. Staff and service were great. One thing that is great about it is that it is wheelchair accessible so that people in wheelchair could come and go. The rooms had a flat screen tv which was very nice after a very long drive. They have valet parking so that was very helpful. The showers were great and the hotel looked very nice.

From the moment we pulled in to the facility we were welcomed by the friendly staff. Gigi made checking so easy and pleasant. She asked about the reasons for our stay and congratulated us on our wedding anniversary. She made our visit extra special. Every employee we encounter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed for the park and fly services but would love to come back for a longer visit. It was by far one of the best hotel stays we’ve had ever. From the beautiful decor to the amazing staff, it was a 5 star experience.

Had a client on May 6th who wanted to meet at neutral location. Hyatt provided everything I could think of. I was assisted by a lovely Front desk concierge. A Shorter beguiling woman with a powerful speaking voice and a lovely smile(she had pink nails). She gave me the option to upgrade my room as well as great customer service. Still waiting on email in regards to my stay. Executive wing is awesome. Room was great.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The staff is what makes it. They are incredible and very understanding.

I had an issue with my room (it was not the room’s issue but mine), and Greg was overly accommodating to grab a new one. Also the food suggestions, ideas, by the staff have been amazing. This is the most COVID-19 adapted hotel I’ve seen!

Cant give enough praise to Greg and the Perks team. This is the kind of property that will take off when we return to normal. Hope to be back soon!

Friendly staff. Quiet, clean rooms. The place is huge with plenty of areas to sit and read including one area with a domed skylight. The lower level has as a coffee shop with a large selection of snacks, from salads to junk food and drinks and is open from 6am to midnight.

A well equipped gym, executive wing, business center and airline crew lounge is included.

While looking for a hotel by the airport I came across this particular one. The room was very clean and the lobby was very decorative. The shuttle service was also really good and they run every 15 minutes. A+ experience. We will definitely be back when we fly out of O Hare

Problems with flight connections caused British Airways to have to provide us with an overnight stay here. Though I’d rather have not had the travel problems this was a nice place to stay. From the start, night receptionist Nancy was amazing. After a frustrating day of cancelled flights she took care of myself and my workers really quick. She turned some frowns to smiles. Great person to have as the first person to see in this establishment. Rooms were good too.

It's hard to get 5 stars out of me, but Hyatt deserves it. David, at check-in, was amazing. There was a problem with the reservation, and he fixed it with ease. He also provided use with a $30 credit for our troubles. This usually isn't something that happens. Our room was great. Very clean with a very comfortable bed. Dinner at Red Bar was delicious, and the service was perfect. Park and fly worked out without a hitch. This will be our hotel when we are flying out of Chicago in the future.

Our experience was what you would expect at a hotel. The front desk attendant was friendly. The general public areas like the lobby and elevators were kept very clean. Our room had a very large television. I was surprised that we had a stand-up shower and not a tub as I had never seen that in a hotel before. It wasn't a big deal to me because I don't take baths anyway. The free shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion they provide are really nice. My only concern about my stay is that although we put the thermostat to 85°F, it still was extremely chilly. We normally keep our house at 68-70°F.

Great location for conferences and large events and conventions. But not the best for tourism. I have been to this location twice for conferences and have been impressed with the hotel each time. However, there is no pool, sauna, hot tub, and breakfast is not included. The hotel is within walking distance of the L and from there it’s about a 30 minute train ride into downtown Chicago, which I highly recommend.

One of the best stays that I ever had in Chicago. The hotel and staff are very nice. I am really amazed by the level of professionalism of the staff, we had a small glitch in the AC unit in our room, and within few minutes, we had one of their top engineers (Asmir) in the room and fixed the issue professionally within minutes. I have to say, the level of professionalism and dedication of the staff is amazing.

Panoramic Room - view isn't all that grand, it is cool but you don't SEE anything all that cool. Close enough to the airport that you can see (and lightly hear) the airplanes lifting off. Does have the cool spiral staircase - steep and narrow but vibes anyway.

For the price (13k points or like $350 a night) it is cool but physically outdated. Old wallpaper, carpet, and shower tile but new appliances.

Sheets aren't soft and pillows about half the size of other average pillows.

We spent the night here after we missed our connection in Chicago. The hotel itself is GORGEOUS...they have that down. The service.......NOW THAT NEEDS WORK. We arrive at the hotel and I walk to the Front desk for Check-in: There are 3 staff members one leans over and says "Checking-in "(not Welcome to the Hyatt Regency Hotel....May I help you?" The staff member was so cold in his interaction with me. There were no long lines, so I was not taking up time. He was professional but not FRIENDLY. I felt like I was just "business as usual. " There was no kind of connection. Trust me I get it, I work in Customer Service too. I feel like when something like this happens, the customer is just a transaction and not a person. I tried to engage him, but it was nothing. Again the hotel was lovely, the room was GREAT. The Customer Service was a TOTAL LET DOWN. I need that customer engagement......when a business fails to have that......then they lose me as a customer. We are all connected whether we know it or not.

Beside the hotel not enforcing their own mask rules with customers, I enjoyed my stay. Old hotel but remodeled. Awesome location right off the interstate. All the dining is not open due to covid, but the grab and go counter with hot food options, and the bar was great. Room was updated and clean. Parking was reasonable. Super affordable. Loved the convenient self check in and check out. I will definitely stay here again with my next visit.

Genuinely my favorite hotel in the area. I have been here twice and experienced an incredible trip both times. My first visit was during the summer months when I had to attend a convention and it was notably more populated. That didn’t lessen the luxury in my experience, the building is large and well accommodated to suit the needs of each guest. My recent trip was wonderful and I experienced a much more calm atmosphere as it’s a bit colder this time or year so there weren’t as many guests. I have only stayed in the suites but from the time I arrive until the time I leave the experience is grand and luxurious. I absolutely adore the staff as they are always so beyond friendly and welcoming! I cannot rave more about the staff and the food! I love the dinner menu, the bar selection and the breakfast! Breakfast is a stand-out experience in my book and I really enjoyed everything about it. (I recommend requesting the hot chocolate! THE BEST!) I will return again and will continue to do so every time I am in the area!

Room and service are very good. Close to the airport and offer free shuttle bus to/from there. Its a very good place for conference or staying over for transit. For tourists, its a bit inconvenient. We need to take Uber/Lyft for groceries or restaurants. There is little options in walkable distance. There is no fridge in the room and only 1 microwave for the whole floor.
