Great place to stay at an affordable price! The room was clean and huge. The workspace was perfect for my laptop. They’ve a coffee maker in the room as well. The shower pressure is a bit harsh but the vanity is a great addition. If you’re a light sleeper, you might be sensitive to the noise outside (didn’t bother me much). Breakfast is complimentary which was a relief!

This place was mostly really nice! The only complaint I had at all was that the pool was pretty small, but regardless, it was nice to swim in and was a comfortable temperature. The breakfasts served were great and filling, and they also had snacks and drinks for sale. They also had a whole bar with a bartender, which I don't go on vacation a ton but I had never seen before. I liked it here. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were clean and comfortable. For the 4 people in the room, we had plenty of space to move around. The shower was nice, too!

Great room, staff was okay on check in. We had a few issues getting my card to go through for the damage deposit, not thier fault by any means but the gentleman looked annoyed. (Understandable) The main reason I'd leave a star off for is the $20 per day parking fee which comes off your incidental fee that they let you know about after putting the fee down. Could get pricey if staying a few days. Other than that fantastic place to stay, close enough to food. A few minute drive either way. Super clean, super modern.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it.

We've stayed here twice know and the experience both times has been good. Shuttle service to airport is timely, the rooms are comfortable. No complaints.

The hotel is very close to airport. They have free breakfast too. That is nice.

They also have free shuttle until 9 PM

But there hotel service is terrible. We landed there at 10 PM. They said there would be taxi service to pick us up. But no one came.

We stayed for 5 nights and they would never clean our room. They wouldn't even give you clean towels. We were very disappointed. No matter how many times we told the front desk, no one took any action. If you really have to stay for more than 1 night, you can look for other options.

My review is solely for the airport parking and shuttle services at this Hyatt House. I booked thorough a 3rd party website. Upon arrival the night clerk walked me thorough the parking process. I recommend you come earlier than your pick up time to sign some documents and park accordingly. The shuttle runs every 30 mins. so don't be late! Overall it was a cool experience ans they provide uncovered self parking

Whenever I had to visit Chicago, had late night flight or had to pick any of my friends from the Airport, then this was the place where I liked to stay. It is very convenient and close to the Airport. Moreover, there are multiple food places around this hotel and the area is so Calm and quite. Loved it always and the hotel found to be always neat and clean. The staff is also very kind and helpful.

Stayed here to attend a concert at the arena. It was so nice to be able to walk and not deal with traffic. The free breakfast was such a nice way to start our day. Every staff member we encountered was so nice. We intend to stay again in August for our next concert 😊

We ended up at the Hyatt place due to an unexpected layover. Considering it was the last minute the price was decent, around 150 with our member discount.

The Hyatt is always a classy place with staff that are so very polite and helpful. They were quick to agree to store our luggage the following day while we walked around waiting for our flight.

They do have a shuttle and we were asked to reserve a spot on it, which was actually great because it meant we knew exactly what time the shuttle would be there and we knew for sure that we would have a spot on it to get to the airport on time. The only reason I took a star off was that our room was overlooking a major highway and it was indeed quite noisy in the morning once rush hour started.

Otherwise, the room was absolutely great. The amenities, such as the electronics, were perfect. They had a great setup if you were traveling on business with a computer. Ethernet connection, plus connections to the TV where you could utilize it for your work.

I want to point out that the blackout shades were 10 stars in our estimation. The room was so dark that we didn't even know it was morning when we woke up. For weary travelers that is amazing. They also had a perfectly dim night light in the bathroom. This is something so often overlooked in hotels and it was very much appreciated since the blackout shades were so effective.

I must also give kudos to the Hyatt breakfast. They had the typical Hyatt breakfast room that was decked out like a beautiful kitchen in a lovely home. They used a le Creuset Dutch oven on a kitchen style stove top holding the fresh scrambled eggs. (Feels like a home) They also had french toast, donut holes, oatmeal, yogurt, granola, etc., etc. and really very, very good coffee. There was a worker there who was very sweet and efficient in keeping the place spotless.

The taxi ride from the airport was $20 with tip. This was very late at night, so no traffic.

One more thing I almost forgot to mention. There really isn't a lot to do within a couple of blocks other than food, Target, and the convention center. However, we were able to take a nice half hour walk to get some Chicago Pizza at Giordano's. There was also another Chicago pizzeria that we passed along the way. If you like to walk, don't hesitate to take the walk. It was very safe and there were sidewalks the entire way.

The desk staff (both at night when we checked in and in the morning when we checked out) was very friendly and helpful. The bartender, who was also our waiter, was personable, professional. After a long and frustrating drive north from the eclipse, the staff made us feel that they were glad we were at the hotel.

The food in the restaurant was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend the chicken quesadillas.

Breakfast was very good (eggs, not so much). They had no decaf except for the pretend coffee in the tiny "easy bake oven" coffee maker in the room.

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Nice hotel without being super expensive. The location, being right by the airport with shuttle service was right where we needed it to be but it's a utilitarian location with nothing but streets and construction. The rooms were very pleasant with a sitting area slightly separated from the bed with a divider. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Good location with airport shuttle service. Clean hotel. Excellent bar. Friendly service. The rooms are very comfortable. Ear plugs are provided if the airport sounds or road sounds disturb you. The bathroom has a dressing table to make applying makeup convenient. Excellent decor.

Check-in: not too welcoming. The staff didn’t want to keep our bags in storage because we didn’t want to pay 35USD for early check-in. They didn’t even give us a tag for our luggage (while others got one).

Room: pretty clean & big. Comes with a mini fridge. Can get a bit loud in the morning when planes takeoff.

Location: great if you need to get to & from the airport as they offer free shuttles (but make sure to sign up for the pickup the day before at the reception (there are limited seats at each time)). The hotel is also very close to the Allstate Arena if you are attending a concert there. There is also a plaza with lots of food options & a Target.

Airport shuttle: airport pickup was kinda confusing. We waited at the terminal 2 hotel shuttle lane (just wait there…) there are lots of hotel shuttles there, so make sure to check for the correct hotel name (there are also multiple Hyatt hotel shuttles, make sure to get on the correct one). Note that the shuttle will also stop at the terminal 5, but only for a short min.

Receptionist: not very organized (called to ask for a shower cap, but they told us to go to the front desk to ask for it instead. When down & they inform me they don’t have any…)

Free breakfast: there is free breakfast included at this hotel. Simple toast, egg, sausage, ham & bacon, fruits, oatmeal, cereal & a waffle maker (make your own). Note that the cut off time is legit (9:30am means they will turn off the lights & start cleaning!)

Good place to stay if you want to be close to the airport. It's located about 45 minutes to an hour out from the city (commuter traffic). So keep that in mind when driving or Ubering around. Also the location is pretty much a direct path for planes flying in and out, but you don't hear much in the rooms themselves (at least it never woke me up, lol).

They have free breakfast as well... The options alternate each day (pancakes, French toast, sausage, omelets, etc.) and cereal for the kiddies, if they're only into that in the morning.

Also—the bar area is open late for mom and dad, if they want to have a nightcap or order something to eat—And a mini gym and pool if you feel guilty the next day for said late night snacking. 😬

Lastly, if you have a rental car, parking is on a first come basis. Come back too late and you might have to get "creative" acquiring your own parking spot.

This was my first time staying at the Hyatt Place Chicago O’Hare and it didn’t disappoint. The room was clean, everything was in working order, and no bugs:) The staff was helpful and courteous. The two ladies at the front desk Inna & Ona were very professional and went above and beyond to help. I definitely will be back to this location. A+

Hotel 🏨 was very convenient to a conference I was attending and close enough to an outlet mall within walking distance. Plentiful upscale restaurants with excellent 🥘. It’s not the hotels fault but the state occupancy tax is 6% , local government occupancy tax is 7% and Cook County hotel accommodation tax is $1.89 a day for a whooping $26.46 a day in addition to your room. I didn’t park so I know that is another bill. I say at every opportunity vote 🗳️ these taxing politicians out of office.

This was a really nice hotel. The rooms were clean and the customer service was excellent. My only gripe is the extra parking is on the other side of a nearby hotel. I would suggest a shuttle bus or something. That walk was entirely too long!

A couple weeks back a family member overslept and we missed our flight to Los Angeles. And the next available flight was the next morning at 6 AM. Thanks to American Airlines customer service it was easy to get seats on that flight.

But the problem was, where would we sleep? Well after browsing through hotels we landed on this one. And I’m glad we did. We got a taxi and it took us to this hotel.

As soon as we walked into the lobby we could tell it was a nice hotel. The workers let us check in early for 25 bucks which was great. Since we were all tired we didn’t want to wait the 2 hours for check in.

We went up to the room and it had a view of runway 27R. And I know most people wouldn’t be a fan of this, but for an aviation enthusiast like myself it was a perk. Plus the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice the shower’s water pressure was the best I’ve felt in a while. Better than my own shower which isn’t really saying much bc my shower’s water pressure at home isn’t really that great.

We went to sleep that night but my friend who was in the room with us was snoring. That obviously has nothing to do with the hotel tho.

But the next morning we woke up around 3 and checked out around 3:30 the check out process was very easy. And we managed to get to the airport just in time for our flight to LA. Thanks to this hotel we didn’t have to spend the next 24 hours in the airport or drive all the way back home. Overall Very nice for an airport hotel, and very nice for the price of the room.

We had to get a hotel last minute at 3am after flight delays. Hotel staff was very accommodating and kind. The room was very clean and nice. For future reference, there are no curtains, just layers of shades. We didn't realize until morning that we could have made it darker. Our mistake! Would definitely recommend. The breakfast area is very nice but the breakfast itself was subpar.

Great location, near airport (obvs), also the Allstate Arena (literally next door) and tons of shopping.

Great common area spaces, tons of room for conferences.the women's room had tons of stalls!

The Breakfast room is also spacious and clean, the wait staff were super helpful and friendly. Don't forget your tickets for meals, they will ask you for them when you arrive.

We stayed in 231, king bed, which faces the highway which was a bit loud during rush hour but quiet later

I did get charged for parking($20 day rate), I guess this is waived if you book on points (I thought this was covered since I'm Hyatt Globalist).

Overall a great place!

I parked my car in their lot while I went on vacation and there was a snow storm in Chicago. I was expecting my car to be full of snow and they cleaned the snow off my car! I was so grateful for that awesome gesture! I will definitely use them in the future when I park my car or have to stay in the hotel! Thanks for going the extra mile!

The hotel was nice and luxurious.

They have a mini gym and pool located on site.

The staff was pleasant and helpful.

They always greeted us with smiling faces.

The beds in the room were very comfy.

I really loved the shower and bathroom.

They offered a vanity in there and had shampoo if you needed it .

The hotel also offered a bus shuttle to and from the airport which I thought was a nice addition.

The only thing I would have done was to have better breakfast

It was subpar so I took off a star

I would recommend this hotel to others.

Lovely hotel. We loved the room, comfortable beds, pleasant staff, and wonderful breakfast. It would have been perfect if the carpet had been vacuumed. It was an unpleasant surprise to find multiple small debris and such around the room on the floor. Kinda "ick." I felt like I needed to keep my shoes on.

We drove in and stayed here Aug 10-12, 2024 for a concert at Allstate Arena. All staff that we encountered were polite & our room was clean. I found our bed to be very comfortable; the bathroom was big and roomy and that vanity was a plus. Although I wasn’t bothered by the planes flying overhead, it could be an issue for some who are lightsleepers. Both nights that we were there the planes flew until about 9pm at night and started around 6:30am. It was really cool to see them up close so if you like to watch planes this may be a good spot. Another thing that I didn’t like was the crowded parking lots/limited space. I was already worried about not getting a parking spot because I had read on online forums that people could pay to park and attend the events occurring at Allstate Arena. The first night we checked in about 8pm. The lots were full. Thankfully we found a spot which was super tiny. The second day, I was nervous about leaving and coming back to no parking availability. Again we were able to find a spot but it was limited. If I were to attend another event at Allstate, I’d stay here again for the convenience. Hopefully Hyatt puts priority on parking spaces available for their guests. What happens if there are none available???

The staff was okay. There was only one elevator working when I went. Lightning inside the hotel was dim. Breakfast was included in our reservation which gets points for it. They serve, sausage links, potatoes, and eggs. There was a cereal/yogurt station and there were bagels and fruits. The room was spacious and clean (points to that as well). Second time I visit a Hyatt hotel and I can say it is worth staying a night. And it's so close to O'Hare Airport.

I stayed there last year. Hotel is very clean. Close to the airport. Shuttle service is great. They have gym and pool. But the pool was closed for maintenance when I was there 😑

The breakfast was spectacular.

If you like aviation, this hotel is great for you, especially if you have a room with a view.

I would stay there again.

I gave it four stars only because the pool was closed when I was there.

First time visiting this location, and I was very impressed. Everything went smooth, met expectations and the staff that I encountered were all super friendly, helpful and polite.

As a Hyatt member I was greeted as such and offered the complimentary items without pause.

Rooms are current with modern attachments for tv, charging, etc

Room was clean, well kept and housekeeping was provided daily. An added benefit was the window coverings being upgraded to truly block out light.

Very friendly and professional staff. Quiet, clean rooms with extra comfortable beds. The room and bathroom were spotless. Blackout blinds for travelers who need sleep are excellent. Shuttle was prompt and the driver was so nice. Aja(or Asia) and the young man from Macedonia whose name I didn't catch, and Luis the shuttle driver were all lovely.

I stay here relatively often. One of my favorite hotels to stay while in the Chicago area. Experience is great overall. Hotel is not too far from Downtown Chicago. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for housekeeping coming to our room when we elected late check out upon booking. This has happened on a few occasions. Other than that minor inconvenience it is a great place to stay. High on Hyatt!

Room was amazing. Comfy bed, sheets, pillows, and comforter. Loved the couch. Really loved the multiple setting showerhead. Complimentary breakfast wasn't bad, but wasn't wow either. Coffee was strong, but I wish they had more creamer options. Service was on point and attentive. Parking was ample and accommodating to large vehicles, but needs repaving. The construction was hard to get around, but isn't all construction like that? It's in a great location if you have to overnight between flights at O'hare, but if you don't the flight and freeway traffic can be loud making restful sleep difficult.

Safe area very close to airport. The shuttle runs every 40 minutes, don't be late. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and fairly quiet space for being near the busy airport and highways. Breakfast is easy to navigate and full of options. The bar area was closed during my visit, but looks like a good setup for dinner and beverages.

After missing my connecting flight home (late in the evening) I needed a place to stay. The hotel was close to ORD, new/new-like, very clean and very comfortable. The girl at check in was super nice and accommodating and when the Bartender Ian, heard I had not had a meal, he heated up his own dinner, insisted I eat it and kept the lights on for me to do so. 100% The nicest collective group of people I've ever met int the service industry. I would most certainly stay here again. Thanks again Ian.

We believe the member of staff was called Jean - Jean on the reception desk was rude and abrupt to our 2 young children when she asked them to stop flying a paper airplane by the lobby, whilst waiting for the shuttle bus. When we asked her why, she was very argumentative/defensive and had very bad customer service skills. We also witnessed this member of your staff belittling other members of staff at the hotel and being un kind to them. We really enjoyed our stay and the rest of the staff were very professional but we were very disappointed with this person and felt we needed to make you aware. We don’t usually leave a review but were shocked at how argumentative and disrespectful this member of your staff was over something so small.

Hotel itself is a bit dated but the service I received from the front desk & airport shuttle were A-1. The room was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was hot and convenient. Asia at the desk was extremely knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. Great for a short stay.
