A solid Hilton property with a convenient location right across the street from the airport. Staff is always super friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. My only downside is the carpet in the rooms needs to be replaced and the parking lot arm that goes up and down to let you in and out never works right.
Adequate place to stay near the New Orleans airport. Even though it's right next to the terminal, it's best to wait for the shuttle instead of walking because the crossings are not designed for pedestrians and the roads don't all have sidewalks.
Rooms were really nice, the front desk staff was ok, but could have been more warm and welcoming. The bar/restaurant staff is great. Overall, the hotel is in a great location with on-site parking which can be extended if you are flying out of New Orleans Airport. A fine hotel for family, and a good overnight location if you are traveling into/out of New Orleans.
Room and installations were very good. Service was extremely poor. The first desk person never even made eye contact at check in and check out. No “Hi” no “Bye” and def no “welcome”. Me and 2 other coworkers requested wake up calls and none of us got it. One even claimed calling the front desk for a long time and no one answered the phone. Glad we had our own alarms as back up.
This was a single night stay. Late arrival and early check out.
The Hilton New Orleans airport is quite a nice hotel. my first experience with the hotel staff was not a very good one as the driver of the pickup van from the airport couldn't explain to me where to pick me up and in fact hung the phone up on me one time. what I learned after visiting the hotel so I can to the staff including the front staff the cleaning staff the catering staff and the bar staff, they are all amazing friendly fun to be around people. My room was impeccably clean each day. to me one of the best parts of this hotel is the center atrium where you can sit out during the day or in the evenings enjoy a cocktail or cigar.
