ParkingAccess medians cover quotes from June 17 to September 15, 2026, before taxes, fees and the $9.95 ParkingAccess service fee. Rates change by date, and the operator says its rates and guidelines can change at any time. SAN's page carries no rate effective date and was last updated August 3, 2026; the SAN multi-day figures assume the $40 maximum applies per 24-hour period, which SAN does not state.
The coupon carries rules. It is valid January 1 through December 31, 2026, needs a 2-day minimum stay, is void with a lost ticket, and is "NOT VALID FOR CRUISE SHIP PATRONS." At the exit kiosk you scan your entry ticket first, then the coupon barcode. Over a week the coupon saves $42.00 against the regular rate.
One claim does not match SAN's own page. The operator's Lot B page says SAN's Terminal 2 daily rate is $38; SAN's parking page lists a $40 daily maximum at both Parking Plazas.
How does the Park, Shuttle & Fly shuttle get you to SAN Terminal 1 and Terminal 2?
The operator's own distance claims disagree. Its Lot B page says "less than 1.5 miles" from the airport, its FAQ says "two and a half miles," and its About page says "just across the street." The FAQ strongly suggests arriving 3 hours before your departure time.
On return, the FAQ says to collect your luggage, call for pickup, then go straight to the "designated Courtesy Vehicle area" at your terminal. It does not describe where that area is. If you land at the wrong terminal, SAN's page notes an Inter-Terminal Shuttle from the Terminal 1 curb to Terminal 2.
Arrival steps at Lot B

- At the entry kiosk, scan the QR code in your confirmation email, or take a ticket and keep it out of the sun.
- If the QR code will not scan, pull a ticket and give both to staff when you exit.
- Park and ride the on-demand shuttle to your terminal.
Return steps from SAN
- Collect your checked bags.
- Call (619) 291-1234 for a pickup, then go to the Courtesy Vehicle area at your terminal.
- Expect about 15 to 25 minutes for the shuttle.
- At the exit kiosk, scan your ticket or QR code, scan your coupon if you have one, and pay by card.
