Great place. Centrally located near the airport. And close to dining out and entertainment. Staff was wonderful and pleasant. Highly recommended.
Absolute worst place I have ever stayed at. Non smoking room stunk like cigarettes.
Old Blood stains on the curtains. Sketchy people, one who threatened to assault me if I did not let him/ her ( couldn't tell) use the shower in my hotel room. Keep in mind I am a 6'1 and 250 pound male. If I was a 5'5 woman I could only imagine what might have happened. Someone also attempted to open my room door at 1230 on the morning, even going as far as knocking and trying to lock on the door. If 0 stars was possible that's what I would give, they should be paying me to stay here. Should have slept in the airport, at least it would have been safer.
The hotel accomplished the basic mission. I slept and showered. This was the minimum it could do.
Okay for starters a flight was delayed by a day and I needed a hotel. The Howard Johnson's was very close to the Phoenix Airport.
As you can see by the photos the hotel is in need of a major remodel. I arrived around 8:30 but the doors to the lobby were already locked and required a ringing of a bell so the door could be unlocked so I could check in.
The check in went smoothly and I proceeded to my assigned room to find that the single card key did not open the door. I returned and was assigned a different room and given two card keys. One of the two keys did not work, but one did. So I was in. It was clean and did not smell. Two positives right off the bat. I tried the TV. The remote powered on the unit and controlled the volume, other than that none of the other buttons worked. The channel it was stuck on had a "Saved by the Bell" marathon showing. So a no go for me.
The shower did work very well. Also the air conditioning worked excellent.
The bottom line for me. I would not stay here unless it is a necessity. It was clean but the rest was completely lacking. It was $101 after taxes for the stay.
Overall wonderful experience. Staff did all they could to get us into a great room with e nuff space for me my husband and his parents
Kid at the counter has a smart mouth and attitude. Lied over the phone that the pool was open 24/7. Pool looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months and was chain locked. Room smelt and had leaking tub as well as broken mirrors. That and people were screaming. Didn’t even stay and if I’m actually getting a refund we shall see. Spend the extra $30 to go somewhere nicer!
Do not stay here. Room was filthy and smelly. Photos online are either fake or old. It deserves zero stars to be honest. We left within minutes of seeing the place and they charged us for the night. I paid it and got out of there before something bad happened. Went across the street to the Hilton Garden Inn and got a clean room for not much more a night. Wyndham refused to reimburse me when I contacted them. The positive reviews here must be fake because no one would consider this as a safe and clean place to stay.
There room was not worth the price. Exterior and parking lot is in terrible condition. Room itself needs a deep cleaning. Found bugs and hair everywhere. Towels have been thoroughly used and were rough. Thin walls and floors.
Super scary place! Do not stay there. Drug dealers walking around, filthy rooms. Shame on you Priceline, Kayak and Trip Advisor for allowing them to advertise on your sites. - despite the many complaints of safety issues. Priceline never posted my complaints warning new comers of this place. We were scared!
DO NOT STAY HERE ! Disgusting! Room smells horrid! Like urine and cigarettes. Dirty walls, no toilet paper, disgusting dirty stained 90 year old carpets, writing on walls. Bedding is stained and torn. Sketchy people everywhere just hanging out in the parking lot and property. Worst hotel ever, total dump and unsafe.
you can smell something strange. bird poop INSIDE the bed room. SINK WAS YELLOW. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. sketchy. scary to stay here with family. people screaming at night. 0/10
You Check in with your reservation number at the Hotel. The Lady was prompt and efficient. Also very 🙂 nice.
Then she directs you to a parking area that is gated and monitored by her and her family who live on the property. Such a Well thought out experience. The neighborhood is not the best but there is adequate security and the for 3.50 a night. A great deal! I am doing this again!
It's a nice motel. It's not the best and along way from the worst. Good place if you want to run away with someone and hide out. Clean rooms.
Room was OK the morning staff was all right the evening staff was amazing emelio is great however seeing a dead body right in front of my door isn't exactly what I wanted to wake up to My daughter and I could have lived without that part of the experience they try to make it a nice hotel they just have too much riff raff in their
Great manager and staff, clean and comfortable.
Thanks for staying wonderful even during this covid crisis where others seem to forget customer service, you were amazing!
Horrible service. Payed in advance to park here with no notice for suspended shuttle services. Got yelled at by one of the employees about where I parked with no regard to their lack of guidelines. Had to leave and find another place to park-and they offered no type of empathy or care.
