Although I didn’t stay at the hotel, my children and I did use the long term parking there for our trip to Florida. My daughter left her backpack on the shuttle and didn’t realize for a couple of days. The hotel had the bag, held on to it and got it back to us without any issues. My wife and I have stayed here at least twice a year for the last four years as our midpoint stop on the road between Chicagoland (our residence) and the greater Boston area (my parents' domicile), and without doubt, it's one of the best hotels we've stayed at. First, the concept of a hotel where pets are welcomed instead of tolerated is excellent for us, as we regularly travel with our two cats, and pet fees at other brands often range from unpleasant to exorbitant. Second, the rooms themselves have everything we need and nothing we don't, as does the hotel itself. There is a small pool and a decent-sized fitness room, though my wife and I have used neither (and in the time of Coronavirus, they aren't permitted to open them anyway). The lounge has a pool table, seating area and bar, and a convenience area with snacks and made-to-order hot breakfast in the morning, most of which we have used ourselves. For those worried about it, there is an airport shuttle - we come in on I-90, and the hotel is only minutes from the freeway, making our trips easier and simpler. Finally, but most importantly, the staff at this specific Aloft property are OUTSTANDING. They've been accommodating of a range of minor issues we've had on the road, from late check-in through late check-out, and the service is prompt, full, and pleasant - every shift, every stay, weekend or weekday. We love this property, and we plan to keep this as our midpoint stay between my folks and our home for the foreseeable future.
As a small post-script, the luggage carts here are also much easier to use than most chains - they're similar to the luggage trolleys you can rent at most airports. Unlike those hotel-standard six-wheeeled brass monstrosities that run away on you at the slightest incline or breeze, these are FAR easier to control when loaded down with our luggage. The damn things actually have brakes that prevent them from moving unless you're squeezing down the handle! This might seem like a minor point for most, but with as cold and windy as Buffalo is in the winter, being able to load a cart by myself without having my wife freeze her butt off holding it down is something I've been thankful for every time we stay here on our way for Thanksgiving or Christmas with my folks.

Airport shuttle was prompt even at the late hours of pick up.
On the flip side, we had to deal with an unrecognized charge on the credit card that did not get resolved after multiple calls to the hotel. They could not provide any explanation nor called back with any resolution even after they said they will. Unusual from a Marriott chain hotel. Eventually ended up disputing the charge with the bank.

Our son enjoyed sleeping on the human size bean bag..... I'll be purchasing one soon!! My fiancee enjoyed what tasted like a freshly cooked turkey sausage and cheese on a croissant (not a microwave breakfast sandwich). Manger was A+ (my apologies for forgetting his name... Aloft are pretty much the same wherever you go, but I did enjoy my couple night stay here. I cannot speak on the amenities like the bar or the gym, but I did enjoy the breakfast. The rooms were clean, nice sized.
My only complaint is that the showers leave a lot to be desired in terms of water pressure, size and shower head spray.

They provide a complementary water bottle if you are a member w/ them (membership is free), and they have an airport shuttle. The drivers Pat and James were WONDERFUL. Gym was clean and up to date. About 5 minutes from the Buffalo International Airport.
The only negatives are:
1) one shower wall was frosted glass. If you were trying to sleep with lights off and your partner was taking a shower you may as well leave the lights on because in a double queen room the bathroom light lit up onesode of the room.
2) if you choose the bed, in a double queen room, across from the ac you will have air blowing on you ALL night.
3) the teas in the room needed to be replenished, small thing for us but to some it may be a problem.
Would give Aloft hotels a second chance if I needed to, but the bathroom light issue is a huge one for me.

We stayed this past Thursday. We booked the day of as we were crossing over from Canada and flying out of Buffalo. Verrry close to the airport. Our room was nice, beds were comfortable, the young lady working the front desk was amazing (wish I grabbed her name to state it here). They have a shuttle to the airport which we caught around 430am. The young lady's brother Morris was the driver and he was equally as great. We also got cheap parking for our extended weekend away with the shuttle bringing us back to the hotel to get our car later this morning. We arrived late so can't speak to the food area in the lobby. But, everything seemed clean.

Quick, easy check in is an understatement. I had my keys and was off to my room in under a minute. Front desk is very accommodating. I forgot to add my Bonvoy account when checking in so I asked to add it later and it was no problem . Extending my stay one more night was just as easy.
They have a great lobby with a bar serving pub fare. I’ve not tried it yet but plan on it tonight. There’s a pool table and plenty of seating creating a lounge type vibe.
In contrast to the lively atmosphere at check in- guest room floors are very quiet and peaceful.
There’s an indoor pool and fitness center which I hope to check out this evening as well.
The proximity to the airport and their airport shuttle were my main reason for choosing Aloft and it really is right next to the airport. I’m amazed I haven’t heard more plane noise!
Definitely recommend Aloft Buffalo Airport to anyone looking for an airport hotel with some nice extras.

The room is compact but has everything we need for a short stay. Convenient location, quality food and reasonable prices at the restaurant, nice pool table. I used this hotel to leave my car for the week and easy access to airport. Upon my return late at night on a cold rainy night my car was DEAD. So dead I couldn’t even unlock my doors. A lovely lady by the name of Christine grabbed a booster kit, googles how to jump my car (I have a hybrid and batteries are not noticeably accessible) stands out in the cold rain and gets me started. Carpet in bedroom felt grimy. 1 of 2 elevators not working during weekend and you can take the stairs up. You can take the stairs down which exit outside, the door doesn't have a key card reader so you can't get to the stairs from the main floor to walk up.

It's really a shame that your hotel cancelled that man's Eclipse stay so that you could sell his room for 3x his original booking price. We all want to make money, but some things you just should not do to make it. I really liked your hotel when I stayed there, but I won't be staying again. I will also help the News 4 story about cancelling his room to be known. It is good that you made the decision to rebook his room, after News 4 got on top of the story, but again, you guys did him wrong anyhow. The love of money is the root to all evil.

Aloft Buffalo Airport is a decent hotel, which is pet friendly. The outside of the hotel and lobby are modern and have a fun vibe. The rooms are nice with the basic amenities such as free wifi, coffee maker, desk and fairly comfortable bed. There is a kitchen in the lobby where you can order different meals and snacks for a price. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

Great hotel, the best is that pet's and especially dog's are welcome. You normally even get a pet treat bag on arrival.
This visit though there were none available and no newspapers in the morning. Staff reaction and follow up on these issues was less than expected...Also rubber/plastic mattress covers made for a less than comfortable and less than perfect night's sleep.
For the price you are paying and the Aloft brand you should be getting exceptional service and a non rubber sheet covered mattress.

That being said I would still recommend this hotel. Very convenient and right opposite Buffalo International Airport.

I cannot day enough good things about this hotel and the staff! We are from Canada and stayed here for 3 nights for a hockey tournament with two of our centres teams-from the moment we got there to the time we left they were so incredible! They had a meeting room where they allowed the kids to play mini sticks (a favourite thing to do when staying in a hotel for a hockey tournament), this way they were contained in a room, door closed and not bothering anyone else in the hotel(brilliant!!!! More hotels could learn from you)! We also drank and had a good time as parents in their lobby which had access to a bar, live music on the Friday night etc. It was again the perfect spot to allow the parents to have a great time and not bother any of the other people staying at the hotel! Well done Aloft! If only ALL hotels could be as accommodating and understanding as you! Would stay here again in a heartbeat for a hockey tournament or just with my own family!

From the time we got in until the time we left the staff made sure our stay was extraordinary. There was an issue with the AC leaking into the carpet in our room. Khodja went above and beyond on several occasions to make sure all of our needs were met. Her number one concern was to make sure we were happy. I really didn't feel like moving all my stuff, but She ended up moving us to another room that was right across the hall from the room we were in. I was extremely impressed by her hard work. My family and I will definitely be back next time we are in town, and I will recommend to all of my friends.

The hotel is beautiful, very artistic and modern at the same time. Beautiful Decor inside the room and in the lobby area. They have a nice selection of items in the little convenience store area. Also, have a bar and grill for food and beverages. There is a microwave downstairs, I'm not sure if one can be brought to the room, but there is not one in the room. The only issue I have with this hotel is the HOTEL SHUTTLE. The hotel is literally a two-minute drive from the airport where they pick you up, however we waited almost 25 minutes for the van driver and then once the van got there there was really no greeting. We had to call two to three times and they said give the van driver 5 minutes BUT it's a two-minute Drive and it was our THIRD CALL. You could truly walk to the hotel that's how close it is so for us to wait so long for such a short ride it's UNACCEPTABLE. The only way I will come back to this hotel is if they improve the hotel shuttle other than that a really nice hotel.

you enjoy room freshener that smells like Raid, this place is for you. If you enjoy waiting forever for the elevator bc one is out of service, this place is for you. And if you like a floor plan that has you walking directly into the bathroom when you open the door, this place is for you.
With that said, this is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve had at any hotel in a long time, and the location by the airport makes it super convenient, so I would still stay here again despite their best efforts to create a below average experience.

Upbeat atmosphere in lobby and gathering places. The packaged snacks and muffins are available all the time instead of just the breakfast hours like most hotels. They also have a cooked to order breakfast option starting at 6am weekdays but we left at 5:30am so I didn't get to try it.
Speaking of our early morning I let the front desk know we needed a morning shuttle and it was right there waiting for us as requested.
The room was good. Not big but plenty of counter space for our carry-on bags. The TV selection was from Spectrum and it was very poor. The remote was barely functional and when we finally were able to view the Guide the station numbers on the Guide were different than what the TV displayed. Also the TV numbers were formatted as ##-# or 62-1. I've seen this before and it has never made any sense to me.

Nice spacious room with comfy pillows located 3 mins away from the airport. They offer shuttles starting at 7am every hour. We took an early morning flight and they were able to accommodate to leave at 5:15am. Morris the shuttle driver was very welcoming and started our day on the right path.

Great experience! Clean and very friendly helpful staff. I highly recommend staying there. When people care and are kind and friendly it makes ll the difference I the world. Everyone there was happy to work there. Our plane was canceled and they made us feel welcome and comfortable. Took us to dinner and back to airport next day.

Easy check-in/check out. Very well sanitized premises. Quiet despite the proximity to the airport. Comfortable bed 🛌 and pillows. Room darkening blinds contribute to a good nights 💤rest. Very experienced and friendly bartender. 😊
The hotel does not have a garment steamer for guests to borrow. 🙁It will be great if management considers providing one for all guests attending formal events such as weddings. There is an iron with a board in the room. Not a good option for a quick touch-up on formal attire. The 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner is dispensed in a large Superhuman container attached to the bathroom wall. The body wash is offered in the same package. Both products are with marine botanicals, have a pleasant smell and worked well. The fresh brewed coffee in the lobby can be significantly improved, but Starbucks is around the corner. Arrived after 1:00 am reception was very pre functionary however room was immaculate and comfortable. Check out was a breeze all of the morning staff exuded “ I’m glad you chose us, thank you for coming”. This is my new go to hotel when I’m in and around the Buffalo area. I will say the window in room 102 was cracked I brought it to the attention of the staff, hope it will be fixed. It didn’t detract from my comfort only the aesthetics of the room.

Made a special request for low floor away from elevator due to making a road trip with the dog to get away. 100% honored. Bed is almost as good as my one at home and the simple yet stylish nature of the rooms work for my needs when I travel. Aloft has quickly become my one of my favorite hotel chains nationwide thanks to great customer service. Also, haven't heard any airplanes yet but I'm not sure if that's because there aren't as many or the window are just that soundproofed. Either way, I'm happy with the Aloft Buffalo Airport.
