So the place is a bit run down some places, but it seems there are renovations taking place. The room I was in had brand new appliances, flooring, furniture. The room was clean, smelled nice, bed was comfortable. While walking down the hall I had thoughts of oh, no, but they were quickly gone once I opened the room.
However. Customer service is amazing. The employee that checked me in went above and beyond and they're so lucky to have her (I believe her name is Cara?) and I hope they're aware of that.
The only star I give it is for the wonderful man at the front desk. If not for him it would be a zero stars if possible.
As a diamond member professional driver I ask, "HOW does this property qualify as a Quality Inn???"
The lobby is very lovely but the room stinks a sweet rot smell. There has been a major water leak from the roof so it's probably some toxic fragrance to cover up the smell of mildew (see pics). First I've ever stayed in that did not provide a cheap mini fridge.
The price would have been good if it just met Choice hotel standards for Quality Inn. Y'all need to stop collecting whatever little fees you are getting from this empty property. It's empty for a reason. (I will be following up this review by sharing my impressions with corporate)
I found two huge house centipedes. 10-20 tiny ones(1/4") on the lighter colored wall in my room 145. I could not found any on the floor, because carpet was darker color.
I asked front to help me.. The lady at the front answered that house centipedes are very common in Buffalo. I found she never interested in helping me. I decided check out very early in the morning 4am.
Later on I complaint to choice. They gave me 6000pts, which was nothing.
Without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! For starters, there were no toiletries in the bathroom. The toilet did not flush, there were no coffee or condiments in the room. The room had an odd odor. Edit appeared as though they were trying to update the room, but the workmanship was very shoddy.
What made this experience absolutely horrible was the fact that the air conditioner did not work. This was on a day where the heat index reached 102 and it was stifling in the room. I attempted to call the front office four times from the phone in the room, but received no answer. I finally had to call from my cell phone and was told that they would be there shortly. No one ever came and I wound up sleeping in my car.
We told the front desk of our issues and requested a refund, but they refused. They did offer us a voucher for a free night, but why would I want to stay here again?
I would not give this hotel more than a star and would not recommend to anyone. Lady sitting in the reception was not co-operative and customer service was bad. I requested the hotel that I will come early around 9 AM for checking in and it was in the booking request since I am arriving from Los Angeles, California. First they said yes and later they said they can't give me any room for early check-in. It messed up all my plans that day...
Abner is amazing and this hotel is lucky to have him. Abner is a leader and problem solver bc lord knows that hotel is FILLED with problem after problem. Abner is this hotel's only hope. Abner is a 5 out of 5 star employee. This hotel is a 1 out of 5 though.
Absolutely one of the most unorganized places I've been to. I booked 2 rooms, 9ne to be paid by me and the other paid by the guy I was training for work. When I arrived they gave me a room that has been occupied for 2 years. Second room I went to the beds were stripped and clearly not ready to be occupied. When I went back down for a second time the guy I was with said his room was stripped but not clean. Finally they found 2 rooms that was ready. I am currently on the phone with choice disputing the fact that they charged my card for both rooms instead of mine for one and the trainee's card for the other room after they stated that they would do it. I will NEVER stay at this particular location ever again.
Got this place almost last minute due to family arriving. Booked 2 rooms and these were the cheapest I could find for the area. Got there and the manager on duty didn't seem to want to be there. Could tell by how he portrayed himself. Handed me the keys and didn't tell me anything else. I had to ask how to get to my rooms since he didn't seem to ask the question or really engage in a professional short conversation. Checked out the rooms and they seemed decent. When my family arrived to stay in the other room later at night, the room key did not work. Also, heard voices coming from the room I had booked earlier that afternoon. This was really strange and frustrating. On top of that it was very unprofessional since I originally signed the paper when I checked in. Went over to the desk and surprisingly the manager wasn't there. Told the lady at the front desk my situation. Key wasn't working and sounded like there were people conversating in the room. To make this long story short, she ended up giving me another room to replace that already double booked room. I wouldn't recommend this place but I give props to the front desk lady who just started working there a few days ago since she was a lot more hospitable than the manager during the day shift and was able to manage the situation (which I believe) was in a good manor.
I don’t even want to give this hotel a star! This hotel is gross! Rooms smell, outside doors broke and are wide open so not safe at all. Hallways smell horrible! Holes in the walls. No microwaves and fridges in any of the rooms. You might want to take updated photos of rooms, hallways, bathrooms! This hotel definitely don’t match the pictures that’s online. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
The place was affordable and had good rates. The outside looked bad but the interior looks fine. The room was spacious and comfortable. That being said the breakfeast had very very limited options only had frozen sandwiches despite an advertised variety and when I asked the front desk they said that they have a variety of items but don't put them all at the same time. The wifi was also unusable as it only worked in the lobby or some rooms close to the lobby.

Worst experience ever. I have fully paid confirmed reservation but when I tried to to check in they said they are over booked and don't have any rooms left. I had no place to go in the middle of the night with two babies in the car. Hope there are some kind of regulations to stop something like this happening. Try to avoid this location.Go someplace else. I don't want to waste anymore time on explaining more about this place.

Poorly maintained by corporate as nothing seemed to work. No remote for the tv, wall plugs were loose and didn't work properly, and the smoke alarm in our room was hanging off the wall. There was a strong Marijuana smell in the halls and a lot of 20-ish and younger people about. The next morning we came out to something like tree sap (no trees around) on the hood and rear bumper of our car. Staff was nice though...
It's a place that's showing it's age. The room was fine. Clean enough. But little things irked me. Toilet kept running after you flush. Hair dryer didn't work, and believe it or not, not one single trash recepticle anywhere! Ended up using an ice bucket liner. Probably won't stay here again.
Room was not clean, even though it is a non-smoking room, smells cigarette smoke. When I called the reception informed the same, they said they don’t have nothing to do with that and asked me to wait till morning to talk to manager. Very bad service.

WiFi did not work and hotel had a Shining type feel. Yet it only cost 66$ which is 50-60$ lower than the 4 other options within a .1 mole walk. Can also walk to airport

Rented a hotel room for 2 nights on Priceline and when I got there i waited in line for the person at the counter to finish and when they were done she decided to call the other gentleman who got on the line after me before me and changed his room to another room I guess because he had an issue in the first room. After that they told me they were overbooked and didn’t have a room for me. I was forced to get a room somewhere else and pay full price. All the receptionist gave me was a business card with her name on it saying I’d be refunded with no sense or reassurance. I mean although clearly not an obligation, it would have been nice to at the very least, to have gotten a recommendation on a different hotel. Now I’m out double the money I originally paid and I have to sit here in limbo waiting to see if and when I get my money back. SMH!
It was pretty clean and night staff was amazing. To management and owners please understand we are going through an epidemic and not everyone has credit cards, plus cash, transportation, bank accounts, and everyone has their own struggle. Being homeless IS a struggle right now.
Everyone was very nice and I have no complaints.

Now i normally dont talk alot about hotels but this one here is bad the heater Did not work all night we nearly froze to death and i called the front desk for a full refund why becuase it was just as cold outside as it was in the room they Denied my refund for stay i wouldn't recommend this place for family n kids its to cold
It is not someplace I will ever stay at again. First of all, I called ahead of making a reservation. I asked how soon I could check in and was told 1130 am. I did not arrive until a little after noon and was told nothing was ready to give it 30 more minutes. I asked if I could use a bathroom and was told no. I sat in my vehicle until 230 pm before I was finally able to check in. I did call and walk in 3 more time during this period and all the time was still not able to use a bathroom.
Also, when I finally got my room key and was able to walk to my room, it smelled as if they were setting fire to a marijuana farm.
The room was not very clean at all and I waited 2.5 hours to get this room. The tub looked like the bottom had never been cleaned. The toilet was nasty. There was almost no leather on the chair for the desk. There was debri from someone else left in the armed chair and on the floor next to the chair. The list goes on. I thought about changing rooms but then wondered if I would get something worse. I dont see myself staying at this hotel again. I only gave it a 1 star because it would let me post otherwise.
I was a guest for a little over a week at the Buffalo Airport location. I stayed in 3 different rooms ALL of which had problems. The first room had a nasty bathroom which caused me to request for housekeeping but due to COVID you have to put in a request the day before you want them to come. That doesn’t make sense considering the only way to keep the virus down is by constant sanitation. And then after 2 request was made they finally came to clean but by then I had went out and bought cleaning and sanitizing agents. Then they let someone book my room from under me before I had even got to check out time after they told me I couldn’t extend my stay the night before and to come in the morning. They found another room which was smaller, the locks on the doors and the door itself was defective and the heating/cooling unit only had cold air. The room was a side by side so 2 rooms shared a door and the guest was obnoxious and loud. The third room was a little better but on my last morning in the room I had a bit of a brush with inappropriate behavior from their housekeeping staff. And I am holding both the hotel and it’s staff accountable for. This is actually the second time at a hotel in this particular area that there was inappropriate behavior from either a guest or staff member and no manager is ever available to speak with the days or few days following the incident. There is very poor communication between the staff members. I know this because the guy couldn’t speak or understand English enough to understand why it was a problem to begin with. The list goes on... let’s just say after this I will be refraining from staying at hotel/motels/Inn’s etc. for a long time.
I made reservations to stay 3 nights & 4 days. The day that I arrived they informed me that their key mechanism was down, malfunctioning which meant I had to sleep with the door open...so unsafe. They offered to refund me the money but this is the thing I'm very disappointed. They knew about this problem 4 days prior the beginning of my stay. They failed to notify me from the moment it happened and for that I feel they failed terribly. They could have put me & my family else where and honored the price I originally had locked in at the time of my booking. Prices at other hotels were significantly high so I decided to chance it and stay there. And for their lack of help and poor customer service I give them a 3 start.

Good mask and social distancing policy and procedure. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Noisy air conditioner. Didn't use modified breakfast service.
The floor was not vacuumed and blunt clips on the floor. Traces of food that had been there for god knows how long. The pillows were dingy and the room stunk. Thank god the woman at the counter (Carolyn) was super understanding, refunded my money immediately and apologized up and down!
